Hey there. I'd like to join as I've been only DMing and I'm thinking of actually playing, even if it is PbP. I have played 5e as a DM fairly recently and currently running two separate campaigns. I have done PbP before, but only for freeform roleplay.
Generally I'd like to play a warlock. Archfey patron most likely. He would be a half-elf who accidentally stumbled upon a grove in the forest where a trickster archfey was visiting. During that time, he accidentally made a pact with him and now he's stuck as the trickster's pawn in his plans.
Oh and if it isn't a bother to you, I may not be able to post much on the days March 20, 21 , 22 as I have an important matter to attend to. I may post once in a while, but in erratic periods. After that, I'm free.
Hi, I had seen this post up earlier, but I didn't know if recruiting was still open or not. I'm quite familiar with play by post, and I have played DnD exclusively through that. I played as player mostly with 3.5e, 4e and now, 5e and have dabbled quite a bit in Pathfinder. I've played somewhat in lower level games, and not higher level ones. I'm intrigued with the modules, such as PotA and ToA, and want to give those ones a try.
I want to try my hand in playing a half-orc monk, who had a debt from her former and late mercenary captain and decided to pay it off by taking on his obligations etc. She took a leave of absence from her monastery. She was pretty disillusioned with merc life, which was why, she gave it up in the first place.
I think I might, be too late in posting, but I decided to give it a try.
I'm certainly interested! In terms of Play by Post, I'm solidly familiar. I've played and DMed extensively for the past 4 years or so at various locations, including several 5e games.
I'm interested in getting involved with the PbP community on Beyond as well as getting a chance to play in one of the few modules I've NOT actually played through yet.
In terms of character concept, I've had this idea for a water genasi tempest cleric floating around for a bit. Background is mutable, either a mercenary vet, outlander, or sailor. Either way, she communed pretty heavily with the various gods and found that Kord was one of the ones that resonated loudest with her. Embracing the power of the storm, as opposed to running away from it, led her into Kord's good graces and she took up the mantle, spreading his works across the world.
Hello everyone! Two of our players have disappeared into the Far Realm, so our team is currently missing a few members! We haven't made too much progress through the main plotline yet, so you haven't missed anything I can't fill you in on.
If you wan't to join this continuing campaign, please post a character concept in this thread. I will close this round of recruiting in a few days.
I'm looking forward to seeing your characters!

Horatio Hirschfeld - Squire imbued with fae powers, in the Coliseum of Conquest (W2/L1) DM for Reavers of Harkenwold, and sometimes The Fighting Grounds of the Coliseum
This adventure sounds exciting! I’m a relative newbie in the end world. I have a few live sessions under my belt, but no experience with pbp. Pbp does suit my schedule much better though. I really enjoy dnd and hope to get some more experience. I can be fairly active, post-wise, during the day and less so during the evening.
My character concept is a bare knuckle boxer (monk) champion who fell from grace after losing the championship due to his own hubris. He fell into the bottle and the dice and the world forgot him. He longs for the roar of the crowd once again and glory that comes with victory.
FYI, we currently have a barbarian, a wizard, and a ranger.

I have some experience with PbP, and a little in home games. None as a DM. Yet. Though maybe that will change in the future. I can be decently active during the after/noon time (MST) throughout the week. Among the modules I have been eager to play, Pota have been chief among them.
My character concept is bears the divine blood of one faith, yet later came to seek the guidance and protection of another less destructive divine upon learning of the former's machinations. Unable to return home, this wandering cleric of Helm seeks to atone for the part he played in his divine parent's manipulation, and undo any future plots.

I started playing DnD as a teen with 2e and cyberpunk. Stopped for long while to do life. Got back into it 2 years ago with pbp. I can post at least once a day.
I have 2 characters I can use, either a high elf monk in search of his parents or a high elf sorcerer with a unknown entity in his head that he refers to as “the Voice” He is trying to find the source of his power.

Hello, I am interested in joining in as I have never played this campaign.
I have a Dwarf Druid who has inherited his druidic powers from his dying father. Without reason or instruction, he has left his farming village trying to get to grips with his newfound abilities and help people along the way.
