With all anxiety gone, Stun watches as Basal bows towards him, mimicking his movements while introducing himself, ""....Basal...". This brought him joy he has not felt in what seems like forever. Not fully understanding who or even what Basal is, he is hopeful that they will create a bond sometime in the future.
Asshrak brakes into a grin wide enough to show his also large, dragon like fangs. Stun using his peripheral vision notices his shiny fangs as he begins to speak to him.
“Nice to know some people still have respect for large teeth! Tell me, what brings you here to this town. Treasure? Fame? Mystery? Or some other event. I myself came seeking the ring of lords. It’s said to be pride of treasure hunters and seekers hoard. It was lost 100 years ago, due to a beholders raid of the previous owners lair. Rumors appeared around this area, and I came to investigate. I ask again, what brings you here, stun of the large teeth?”
As he compared fangs, he cannot help but to be extremely flattered by the name "Stun of the Large Teeth". the entire time, stun was trying to think of cool to say but failed when Eskee joins the group. “Greetingsss SSStun. Might I sssuggest that if the plan is to head to that village to the sssouthwesssst and take care of their goblin problem we sssstart on our journey? The barkeep sssaid it wasss an eight day journey. I’m sure that will give usss plenty of time to get to know each other.”
Asshrak replys to Eskees “Ah, that sounds a good plan. Don’t think this gets you all out of telling me your history! I want to record it all for my book of memories, so that I may read of my adventures, and who I adventures with whence I am older. My friends, let us kill some goblins!”
As he finishes saying this, Asshrak raises his fists into the air, and throws his head back while smiling triumphantly.
”But first, I should probably go pay the barkeep for all the ale I bought, aye?” He says, bringing his head back forward, and his fists down.
He turns and heads back into the inn, and he can be heard yelling, “my friend barkeep! How much do I owe you for the fine ale I have bought today?”
Disappointed that he did not match his enthusiasm, he introduces himself to Eskee. "Hello friend, that sound like plan. I'll be honest, i have not been in a good mood such as this in a long time. im getting excited!" The grin on Stuns face grows ever slighter.
Basal was mostly silent during the exchange. He thought of goblins, their strategies and tricks they incorporate in their fighting. Basal looked into his bag for a quick moment which he carries around his hip. He closes it and wonders if the town over will have rations for a journey back. The Dark Elf, was content in his cloak. Simply observing the party and their interaction and not saying anything except when he is addressed, though he does seem to try and copy the mannerisms of the party from time to time.
After the barkeeps announcement, Stun goes to his gear near the entrance were he was previously sitting. He checks his gear quickly. After, he hears Maverick cracking his back while announcing "let's do this". He stand next to the entrance eagerly awaiting his companions.
he still is thinking of an answer for Asshrak question...
Asshrak quickly pays the barkeep 1 gp, shouting over his shoulder, “keep the change!” He rushes back outside as stun and basal are checking their supplies. He himself pulls his pack off his back and check his supplies. Ten days of rations, water to last. I have my daggers, now and sword for hunting, he thinks.
“I’m ready, though a horse would be nice, if anyone knows where I could find one. I can travel on foot too, if that is what is needed.
Basal does not seem to understand the need for horses, he cocks his head in confusion from this. The Dark Elf reveals his hand from behind his cloak and asks
"Horse...expensive...donkey would be....better for hauling"
“Ah, yes. A good point my friend. If we have need for supplies, and we are hauling back potential loot, then a donkey would indeed be better. Bartender Bruce! Thank you for the help, and directions.”
Asshrak then turns, and begins striding speedily down the road towards the stables, whistling jauntily the whole time.
As Asshrak whistles jauntily down the road followed by Basal and Stun, he realizes he is headed toward the southern gate of the city. Maverick follows from a distance, noticing all of the shops and vendors along the road. This must be the market district. Stores selling all sorts of things, from food to books to various sundry items line the street. Small tents selling trinkets, souvenirs, and snacks are nestled in amongst the shops. One could find almost anything they need here.
As they get closer to the south gate, they hear the sound of hammers on metal. Rounding the bend, they find an armorer's shop and a weaponsmith hammering away at his anvil. Past these sits a large fenced in area with an open stable and barn on the far side. Beyond that is the South Gate leading into the wild plains of Fantasvohle.
As Stun is walking with the group towards the market area, he quickly pulls a piece of his tattered cloth around his face. This habit was formed from his experience being a Shifter, where the humans where he is from is unfamiliar with the other races. His face brought out the fear and ignorance of those humans who treated him negatively.
When Maverick veers off Eskee shouts ahead, “Hold on guys. Something caught Mavericks eye.”
Notcing the two window shopping the weaponsmith, he replies "We will meet up with you at the Stables! Take your Time!" He continues to follow the rest of the group towards the stables...
As the smith continues hammering on a piece of steel on his anvil, a perky, buxom middle aged woman approaches Maverick. "Hello, sir. Can I help you with something," she asks cheerfully.

"Probably the barkeeps knows. This is a city after all, I'm sure a stables all over.", replied Stun.
"There is a stable down the road there," the bartender responds to Asshrak and Stun. "It's run by a guy named Raimun. Tell him Bruce sent you."

Stun quickly follows Asshrak to the stables while yelling "Hey! Wait for everybody else!!!"
Basal follows behind Asshrak. He doesn't say much, but follows the Dragonborn and Shifter towards the Stables.
Not supper close maybe about 10’ behind the three Maverick casually follows so attention is not brought to him or the group

Keeping an eye on the group Maverick veers off and stops to talk to the weaponsmith
Eskee replies to Stun, “Yesss, I to am happy. I think this will be a fine group.”
As the group starts to move Eskee notices Maverick hanging back and walks with him, but is sure to keep the group in sight.
