In the city of Neverwinter, a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker asked you to bring a wagonload of provisions to the rough-and-tumble settlement of Phandalin, a couple of days’ travel southeast of the city. Gundren was clearly excited and more than a little secretive about his reasons for the trip, saying only that he and his brothers had found “something big,” and that he’d pay you ten gold pieces each for escorting his supplies safely to Barthen’s Provisions, a trading post in Phandalin. He then set out ahead of you on horse, along with a warrior escort named Sildar Hallwinter, claiming he needed to arrive early to “take care of business.”
You’ve spent the last few days following the High Road south from Neverwinter, and you’ve just recently veered east along the Triboar Trail. You’ve encountered no trouble so far, but this territory can be dangerous. Bandits and outlaws have been known to lurk along the trail.
> at this time we are waiting on 2 players maybe / if not you will pick up more on way / you will start your mission at first light after a good nights rest and a hardy breakfast / all your basic supplies are in the cart (food, camp needs, ect ) only keep in your inventory what you want to carry on you at all times (keep in mind if not in your inventory you dont have)
need to tell me where everyone in with cart travel (1 or 2 need to be driving seats, are you in front , rear , side or on wagon ect)
"I believe it's also the works of mischievous fey creatures among others..."
Sepp notices a few empty seats around the table. "It would appear that we are still missing a few members of the party". Heeding the pixies' advice, I suppose we ought to wait for them before heading out..."
Looking to Dwight, then, Lewsie, then Olana, "On the other hand, if us four plus the grumpy human upstairs felt like getting a head start, I wouldn't be opposed to that either."
As morning comes. Lewsie sits on in her bunk. Gives a quick look around before getting out of bed. Noticing there's a few beds empty. As she heads to get some food. She says to Sepp "If the extras don't find there way here.by the Time we finish eatin. Well leave them a note. No sence waiting around here"
I rose up early to eat breakfast alone and to be able to think back to what happened last night with the vision. When everyone was ready to head on this long journey I kept to the side of wagon. " I'll walk next the wagon on way there."
After finishing breakfast Dwight grabs his maul and says, "I'll stay up front be nice to see who else was meant to join us but we will make do with what we got."
Breakfast for Olana was pretty swift, this time opting to eat a lighter meal than she did the night before, and decided to save the rest of her meal in her bag.
With her daggers safely secured on her, she finally piped up when the group discussed marching order. "I'll take the right side if no one minds."
Not being able to come up with a logical explanation for why they got the vision last night I thought I might inquire with the others. " Has anyone been able to figure out why we got that strange vision last night ?"
Two oxen pull the wagon. The wagon is packed full of an assortment of mining supplies and food. This includes a dozen sacks of flour, several casks of salted pork, two kegs of strong ale, shovels, picks, and crowbars (about a dozen each), and five lanterns with a small barrel of oil (about fifty flasks in volume).
You’ve been on the Triboar Trail for about half a day. As you come around a bend, you spot two dead horses sprawled about fifty feet ahead of you, blocking the path. Each has several black-feathered arrows sticking out of it. The woods press close to the trail here, with a steep embankment and dense thickets on either side.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Woaa now, what do we have here." Turning to the rest of the party, "Looks like trouble up ahead folks what do you say we take a look on foot?" I scan the area for any threats

Lewsie come out of the in after breakfast. I think I'll take the tailgate if you guys don't mind
" I don't mind, but keep watch and make sure nothing sneaks up on us."
After finishing breakfast Dwight grabs his maul and says, "I'll stay up front be nice to see who else was meant to join us but we will make do with what we got."
Sepp moves over to make enough room for the dwarf.
"Glad to have the company up here."

Sepp turns to Dwight. “I’m gonna have a look at those horses”
Sepp then hops down from his seat, draws his sword and walks over to the dead horses, trying to get a sense of how long they’ve been dead for.
Dwight stands and draws his Maul as he watches Sepp and Lewsie advance
Staying there at the wagon, holding my staff at the ready while still actively scanning the forest on both sides.
