Zade adds the wood to the fire. He also thanks them for the extra meat. He prepares them and begins to roast them and prepare some vegetables from his rations to go with it. He asks them their story. when dinners ready he gives thanks and serves up the meals. He digs in.
Brom listens intently to Zade’s story, while enjoying the warmth of the fire. He then, haltingly, relays his. That he came from a large settlement in the mountainous Northlands, where his father was a clan captain and his mother a bowyer. And, like many in his clan, was born a werebear. How he enjoys exploring and adventure. Of his near death encounter with an Abominable Yeti, which are the origins of his fur cloak and hunting horn. And, eventually, his decision to strike out on his own. By the end of his tale, Brom appears far more at ease with the others.
Stravini frowns when it’s her turn. “I…wisssh I wasss born as a weressspider, but…no. *click click* I wasss captured very young by dark elvesss. They…turned me into thisss. *click click* I now ressside in thessse woodsss.”

Brom nods in acknowledgment. “I’ve never thought myself a monster. Just different from those outside my clan settlement.” He looks at Stravini empathetically, “But, then again, it was never forced on me.” Any apprehension initially exhibited by Brom has since melted away.

Brom, you find enough firewood to keep a fire going for 20 minutes (4 rounds).
