You are in a dark, dense forest. As you have been living in the wilderness for quite some time now, you are crawling through trees, in spider form, looking for prey such as squirrels and birds. After having caught a blue-jay, you start to eat. Towards the end of the meal, you hear something large lumbering through the forest.
Stravini Notri (DeadOnes) & Brom Cadul (N0BLESAVAGE), roll for initiative.
Brom Cadul, you walk into a dark, dense forest, in your beast bear form. You hear a rustling in the trees about 20 feet above you. What do you do? Remember, you don't know whether the noise is friendly or not.
Hearing rustling ahead of him, Brom immediately stops, preparing himself for the unexpected. His senses acutely attune to identifying the source of the sound. He sniffs the air, taking in in all the scents, keying in on anything remotely out of place. His Darkvision cuts through the dense shadows of the forest, looking for any movement, from root to tree top, even as his hearing triangulates with his other senses. Whatever it is, he is ready.
Brom, you hear some scuttling, and the clicking of mandables. It reminds you of the giant spiders you have encountered before. Make a perception check and a history check.
Perplexed by the lack of attack, Brom quietly holds his ground. All the while, prepared for and expecting a confrontation. Claws, muscle and sinew are at the ready. Perhaps the spider has not sensed him, he thinks to himself as he carefully surveys the surrounding area, though he finds that unlikely.
Brom pivots towards the brush and let’s out a primal roar. In reality, he expects nothing at this point. For, if an attack was immanent, it would have happened by now. With no attack still,, Brom growls loudly, “Come! Show yourself! Or move on!”
Stravini changes to the more horrifying hybrid form that crawls down the tree. She clicks her mandibles at the talking bear. “Who ….are yousss? What …are yousss? *click click* Why are yousss in my woodsss ….talking bear?”
You can, but your species tends to influence you voice more. Try to include that in spelling, so that it is more realistic. Your voice is like a hiss, and is interupted by random clicks and pauses, while Brom's voice is deep and booming and gruff.

History - 21
Perception check: The way the spider scuttles around, and the fact that it hasn't attacked yet, seems strange to you.
History check: You remember nothing about the giant spiders, for that battle had occurred years ago.
What do you do?

Perplexed by the lack of attack, Brom quietly holds his ground. All the while, prepared for and expecting a confrontation. Claws, muscle and sinew are at the ready. Perhaps the spider has not sensed him, he thinks to himself as he carefully surveys the surrounding area, though he finds that unlikely.
Stravini, it is your turn. You can see the bear but he cannot see you.
-Archie
Stravini will cast mage hand near the bear, hoping it would be a good distraction for the bear.
Brom, you see out of the corner of your eye a bush rustle to your left. What do you do?

Brom pivots towards the brush and let’s out a primal roar. In reality, he expects nothing at this point. For, if an attack was immanent, it would have happened by now. With no attack still,, Brom growls loudly, “Come! Show yourself! Or move on!”
Stravini, upon hearing the bear yell these words, you are intrigued. You start to think that this might be a transformed person like you.

Stravini changes to the more horrifying hybrid form that crawls down the tree. She clicks her mandibles at the talking bear. “Who ….are yousss? What …are yousss? *click click* Why are yousss in my woodsss ….talking bear?”
( we can speak in beast form?)
