Hi all newish DM, only have ran a few one shots and nothing on PbP, wanting to do a homebrewed campaign with elements from my favorite RPGs. Looking for a party of 4 to 5. I plan on posting 3 to 4 times a week but will try to post daily. If interested please read below.
18+ please there will be themes of alcohol drugs and violence.
Calling all adventurers the Duke of Norend needs you! The Duke is calling anyone strong of arm, keen of mind, or sharp of tounge to help him retame the north lands.
If interested see administrator Boris Graybeard at the Admin House in Norend.

The old empire, a realm of advance science and magic, which stood for over 10000 years ended with the death of its empor. 1000 years of war desese and famine followed. The dark age ended with the death of the last Tarren Elf and the Rise of the 12 Kingdoms. 1000 more years have past of relitive peace. Science and magic is once again advancing.
West Terra the western most of the 12 Kingdoms. Nestled at the far reaches of the former old empire, times are getting rough again. Monsters are on the rise and the truce between the kingdom and the wild land orc is on the verge of breaking. With the King's army busy fighting a war in the easy, the Duke of Norend sends out a call to mercenaries to help solve some of the increasing number of issues in his lands.
No homebrewed classes races or feats unless approved by me, pease nothing game breaking all other classes and races you own approved. Start level 1, xp progression roll for stats or standard reroll 1s once reroll if total less than 72.
I'll keep this open a few days or to Friday at the latest. Then select the party at random or kill it if there is no interest. Let me know if you have questions.

Back story: no more then 5 to 6 sentences and please include why you are in westerra if your not from the kingdom.
At last! 20 years of hard work and school and pranks they are finally letting me out of the Tower on my own =) I can't wait to help the people of Westerra! And this note by the his Grace looks like the perfect starting point...
Silly elf, thinks she's being rewarded...but the Tower had Do Something with her. After all, she had very nearly burned the place down twice before...
Back story: Lucan grew up a third child to a mildly successful but ambitious merchant family. With the business secured by his brother and sister, he was pressed into public service, learning to navigate the subtle ins and outs of kingdom business. He was pulled aside by a rival from a far more established family and in no uncertain terms, it was suggested that Lucan's brightest future lie in the far reaches of the realm. Understanding the futility of the position, Lucan travels to Westerra with the hopes of winning glory for himself and bringing such a glorious name back home to help his family's station.
Back story: An elven child of low birth, Kal'Ar was quickly cast aside by his family who couldn't afford the extra mouth to feed. However, fate seemed to hold Kal in a different regard, as he was picked up by strangers, who changed his life. For many decades, as the young child grew and matured, he was changed. Experimented on, and morphed into his captor's play thing, twisting his body beyond recognition. Escaping from his captors, Kal became a gladiator as he sought ways to gain the love of others that he never truly had.
Back story: Velimeer fought in the wars as a young one he can still hear the screams of his friends haunting him in his dreams. Being of a draconic race magic runs in his soul. He tends to tame that magic focusing them on trinkets.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Name: Rodgrim Callahan Von Arondight
Race: Human
Class: Fighter
Background: Noble
Backstory: As the truant fourth son of a minor noble, whose modest holdings lie not far from Westerra's relatively peaceful and prosperous core territories, Rodgrim never felt called to serve family and title with years as his brother's steward. Instead, joining with a small troupe of dwarven performers, he eked out a modest living in staged mock battles and minor fights for small-town audiences. Upon hearing the call of Westerra's great need, and seeing in it the promise of greater adventure and riches untold, he signed on eagerly, awaiting his hour to make a name for himself on his own terms, and no others.

Ryton is something of a local flavor minstrel. He doesn't have the practiced, professional magnetism of the truly famous, but it appears that he's got potential. And a certain fey lord is trying to help him get there. However, he isn't intervening directly. Instead, he advises Ryton to act. So long as Ryton follows his advice - no matter how insane it seems- he guarantees Ryton will become legendary.
Back story: Prisca was devoted to his druid enclave, but was marked as a heretic from senior druid Brathir for interfering in her quest to create, what Prisca considers, as abominations. The brand on his chest still aches, even though it has been years since he was exiled. Prisca travels to Westerra for 2 reasons. The first is to gain wealth and power to fuel his revenge. The second is that even though he is exiled he feels for the people of Westerra's plight and wish to help.
Back story: An average height, ginger furred female in dark leathers rests her head against the side of building, blending in with the twilight hours. She was brought up in a workhouse (or thieves guild for those who had an iota of intelligence) in Norend . Still paying off her "training debt", the last "job" was a bust, in the worse way possible, someone or something set her up. However they underestimated her ability to pass unseen. Deciding that her current identity (Celeste) was toast and earning some "legitimate" coin would be smart until the heat dies down, she looks about and spots a flyer posted by Boris Graybeard. "Well well" she thinks to herself "it's one way to find a roof over my head". Looking about and seeing no-one she pulls out her forger's kit and creates a new identity for one... Jairo, expert in... security... She chuckles to herself and leaves the alleyway heading to the Admin House in Norend.
