Looking for 4-5 for campaign based out of the Town of Longsaddle. Located on the Long road between Waterdeep and Mirabar, Northern Faerun. It’s the holiday of High Harvestide in the Village of Longsaddle. Time to load up your livestock, your wheat or fresh vegetables and head to town for the greatist Farmers Market in the savage north.
You are from a cluster of farms/ ranches on the outer Longsaddle territory, you and your neighbors formed a Co-op to better compete against the larger families and their long established enterprises.
this is intended to be a long term campaign. Only apply if you will be active. We can establish a game day where a time block can be set aside for better interactions along with during the week posts to keep it moving. If you can’t post for some reason, send a msg. Your character will be played in your absence. A prolonged absence, your character will meet an untimely end and someone else recruited

Luke is a horse rancher because his father before him was and his father before him, etc. He hates it but it is the only thing he was trained to do. He takes care of the horses and fends off any predators with his bow and arrow, while occasionally hunting in the Neverwinter Woods. He secretly loves history and spends money on history books often dreaming of getting away from town and seeing ancient ruins.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rolo, Human(v), Barbarian
Ability scores: 171014121214
Wheat Farmer: 52 & 3
Backstory: A much newer family to the area, Rolo's father settled a small area at the base of a hill, turning it into a successful farm, Rolo grew up with plenty of food to support his large stature, and adventurous spirit. A simple young man, Rolo enjoys making friends and working to build a home, and if the gods would bless him, a family.
Braedon was born on his family’s wheat field next to a large forest. His mother died when he was younger. His father was devastated and never the same, becoming sullen and distant over time. Eventually, it was up to his siblings and Braedon to run the farm. His sturdy frame and muscular build are thanks to years of working the family wheat fields and chopping wood. He has a keen eye, strong back and a solid head on his shoulders, combined with a good work ethic, natural eagerness to learn, and calmness under pressure. He is rarely without an axe or sickle (i.e. that looks similar to khopesh)

Daisy Holderhek, Dwarf, Druid (Moon)
Ability scores: 161314141111
Potato Farmer - 65, 1
Gold: 2
Background: Daisy lives only to protect her family - what's left of it. She runs the farm with her elderly father, Tygven, and her two boys, Garlik and Tyvan. Things have been rough for the matronly dwarf since her husband, Garlik (Sr.), didn't come back from one of his weekend deer hunts; his friends said they thought it was a manticore that snatched him up. Struggling to keep the farm running she has been seeking the advise from an old hermit that lives in the nearby woods that seems to have a way with the natural world.
Pig farming was the family business. However, while he enjoyed spending time with his friends, Panhorn had taken to spending more time than normal the previous 2 years in the woods which surrounded the district...much to everyone's concern given all the screaming.
Shariel's family drew a long lineage of herdsmen, but that's a bit they'd rather not boast about. In the "new land", as they call it, things are different than their ancestral home. The animals are similar, but much more stubborn. The land is also stubborn, but gives bounty to those who meet it with the same tenacity. For Shariel, though, it's always been home. The boisterous girl took to a horse before she could run, and she helped on cattle runs before she was a true woman. She loved the plains, she loved the herd. Being out in it all, she just felt at peace.
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
Rikaria Calandry, human (standard), sorcerer (divine soul)
Ability scores: 141612181612
farm or ranch type: Apple orchard D100: 84 D6: 6
Backstory: Rikaria Calandry was a sweet, practical girl. Always did all her chores on time round the orchard. Helped take care of her little brothers and sisters. Always home by supper. When she volunteered to help out the old woman who moved into that abandoned house outside of town, her parents never had any inclination that Rikaria would be fraternizing with a witch, filling her head up with ideas about celestial heritage, divine responsibilities, and magical destinies. When Rikaria started going over to that old woman's house nearly every day, her parents never assumed Rikaria would be beginning the training that might one day unlock the power of her heroic bloodline! That'd all be far too much to believe from a such a sensible young woman! Rikaria only cared about helping take care of her family, and the orchard. Magic was far outside the purview of the Calandry family. It was the business of outsiders, and it always would be. Or at the very least, that's what they thought...
William is a lazy boy, but with a good heart. Or actually a young adult as his parents like to say. He'd rather play his flute or steal apples from the nearby orchard than help out at the farm. Besides, the cows really stink! However a trip up North might just be the change of scenery that he needs!
Name:Sasha Vakaris Race: Human (Variant Feytouched) Class: Warlock of the Archfey Sheep herder:785 Backstory: Sasha was born to poor sheep herders in the vicinity of the hamlet of Longsaddle. As a child she found a secret glade when searching for a lost lamb. There she used to play with her friend the satyr Gaeb who her parents thought to be imaginary. Gaeb entertained her with stories of fantastic adventures making young Sasha want to be an adventurer one day. He also taught her how to dance and play the flute. Sometimes she was also visited at the glade by a weird but friendly lady telling her about a place called the Feywild, gifting her with an oaken wand and teaching her how to speak with animals and other nifty tricks. As she grew up Sasha got more responsibility and she is now herding some of the family's sheep to Longsaddle for the holiday of High Harvestide together with some farmer neigbors. She is hoping to be able to make new friends and is looking forward to visit some of the taverns for the first time in her life. Starting Gold:2
class: rouge or bard (depending on what the party needs)
Sheep farmer 56
Rinn was not to terribly thrilled when he was told to keep the family ranch going. He had tried to sell it however no one was interested. Now he is looking for jobs to get him out of being a sheep herder and to make his life more interesting.

Name: Gerthial "Gerty" Durthane
Race/Class: Mountain Dwarf/Fighter
Potato Farmer, D110: 64 D6: 1
Backstory: Gerty enjoyed life on the moutainside. Her family had a long history in potato farming and they were very proud of this fact. What dwarf wasn't proud, and she was happy she had potatoes! Well, she was, but thought there had to be more to life than this. Her brothers were working on figuring out different soil types and what grew better where, but other than the planting and the harvesting - which their family had GREAT celebrations during these times, her mind was elsewhere. She wanted to fight. She wanted to protect. She wanted to be part of the greater good. Whenever there were wolves around or any other creature that threatened their potato patches, she was first to volunteer to help. But she wanted more to protect than her precious potatoes...
farm or ranch type: Chicken Farm - 1d100 43 and 1d6 1
character basic story: Mia's family was saved by the few chickens when there carrot crop failed due to rabbits. Those chicken laid enough eggs to keep them fed and enough to sell for profit. So now she invests into taking care of the chickens. It been hard not to give them names, but a farmer must not be attached to the live stock. Secretly she has given them names she can't help herself. It odd she seems to have a deep connection to animals and nature in general. She shrugs and just chalks it up to her dedication to being the best chicken farmer.
