Rage Effect: Shadowy tendrils lash around you. Each creature of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC15) or take 1d12 necrotic damage. You also gain 1d12 temporary hit points.
With a roar of fury Ameera swings her magical greataxe which shears through the giant skeleton's femur. Before it even hits the ground she has kept the momentum and swung her weapon around to smash into the clavicle and ribcage of the giant. As it hits the snow its glowing eyes dim and the bones and armour scraps sink into the ground.

The ghost of Reggaryarva inclines its head slightly. The other six apparitions intone ancient words in Giant, causing Reggaryarva to fade away as his throne rises 30 feet into the air, revealing a hidden staircase built for giants that descends down into darkness.
Yselm and Harshnag appear next to Ameera, who was slowing her breathing deliberately to dispel the rage. Yselm nods at Ameera. Ameera can see the former Tiger Tribe Great Warrior was impressed by the battle and is feeling invigorated, knowing she has made the right decision to back her.
Harshnag speaks, his low voice rumbling like thunder.
"Even Reggaryarva's ghost was impressed by your savagery and fury, Ameera. Be aware the passage below will last only until the moon comes up in about..." He looked at the horizon, "an hour and a half. I do not know what is below but I will wait here just in case you get trapped down there. Go quickly!"
Yselm lights a torch from her pack and holds her shield in one hand and the torch in the other. Together they descend the stairs which leads to a long, wide hall.
To the left as you enter this dark hall is a closed, stone double door with no handles or hinges on this side. To your right is a curved tunnel blocked by an iron gate that has one-foot-square gaps between its horizontal and vertical bars. The iron hinges on the northern side of the gate indicate that it swings inward.
Situated in shallow alcoves at the far end of this hall are six braziers, each one in the shape of a four-foot-tall, two-foot-wide stone urn held snugly atop a five-foot-high, clawed basalt pedestal. Carved into each urn is a rune. Above the alcoves looms a stone archway, into which some words are inscribed.
As Ameera can read and write Giant she can interpret the runes on the six braziers as follows: dod (death), fjell (mountain), krig (war), liv (life), vind (wind), and wyrm (dragon).
The inscription carved into the arch above the alcoves is a poem written in the Giant language:
The doors shudder open a bit, allowing access to a chamber - against the back wall sits four large wooden chests with iron fittings and built-in locks. Hanging from a hook in the middle of the ceiling is a one-foot-diameter iron ring with four one-foot-long iron keys and a single, one-foot-long silver key dangling from it.
The ceiling is 25 ft high, so the keys are dangling out of reach.
The chests are big giant chests, their shape is box like so they look like you could stack them. Experimentally you tug on one using the handles, and with a bit of effort it does move. Looks like you'd need to stack two and then climb up to reach the keys.

Actions?
Use Magic Awareness before moving forth to examine the runes
As Ameera can read and write Giant she can interpret the runes on the six braziers as follows: dod (death), fjell (mountain), krig (war), liv (life), vind (wind), and wyrm (dragon).
The inscription carved into the arch above the alcoves is a poem written in the Giant language:
Actions?
hmmm..
Seems like something is meant to put into those braziers...
I'll back away for now. Can I see anything past the bars?
The torch just reveals a passageway curving out of sight to the right.
Ameera shrugs and hefts her axe. Smiling she says to Yselm "One way to find out what's there.."
Go to the stone door and kick it open
The doors shudder open a bit, allowing access to a chamber - against the back wall sits four large wooden chests with iron fittings and built-in locks. Hanging from a hook in the middle of the ceiling is a one-foot-diameter iron ring with four one-foot-long iron keys and a single, one-foot-long silver key dangling from it.
The ceiling is 25 ft high, so the keys are dangling out of reach.
I'll try jumping to reach the keys, but 25' is a bit high, even for Ameera
How high are the chests? Can I move them?
The chests are big giant chests, their shape is box like so they look like you could stack them. Experimentally you tug on one using the handles, and with a bit of effort it does move. Looks like you'd need to stack two and then climb up to reach the keys.
