Savage Harvest- adventure thread

William draws his rapier. 

Luke wakes with a yawn “Whew what a night…I guess we should check on that thing now that it’s wakinlg…”

The creatures eyes roll open and stares at you for a second, the cobwebs clearing from its mind, it instantly flies into a rage. Snarling, snapping at his chains and rope. Eyes bulging as he tries to bite at you. You hear the tree groan under the strain and you dodge bits of dirt it manages to kick in your direction.

The beast in its rage snaps free of the rope and manacles and will lunge at Aaron.

(Aaron, William and Luke. Will be in this initiative round then will roll again for everyone)

Luckily you were prepared and ready to strike, Luke was still a bit groggy, but his fantastic reflex’s kicked in an he is able to get a shot in first

When she notices the the ruckus from over by the others Sasha, still in tears and fury in her heart, moves to finish the vile abomination.

Luke disengages (Bonus Action) from the creature. Aaron and Will provide all the distraction Luke needs to slip away and fire an arrow from 30 feet away.

Damage: 8
Sneak Attack: 5

With a fury that nearly matches the beast, Aaron swings a few wild attacks at the creature.

Handaxe: Main hand Attack: 17 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Shortsword: off-hand Attack: 20 Damage: 9

Wow! That's a face only a mother could love!

Vicious Mockery: Wis save14 or 2 dmg.

If William isn't within melee range, he'll back up a bit. Either way he says to Luke:

You know what to do Luke! I trust you keep us save until Gerty with her silver axe comes. You lord commands you, haha!

Bardic inspiration for Luke (a onetime extra d6 when you throw a d20 for the next 10 minutes)

Lukes arrow sinks in deep causing the beast to howl an get angrier. It lifts his head to sky, letting out a loud and echoing, “ Ahhhhhoooooohhhhh!”

flexes it’s chest muscles and you watch as the beasts skin and muscles force the arrows from its body.

 Aaron swings his hand axe, hitting the beast hard as it was busy flexing out the arrows, knocking it back a little with the force. The short sword swings a little wide as a result, missing it.

the anger of the animal is such he did not hear your insulting words. As it bites and claws at Aaron

then it attempts a bite as well Attack: 22 Damage: 5

The beast gashes Aaron arm with its viscous claws, knocking away his defenses and the moves in for the bite, sinking its teeth deep into Aaron’s shoulder and neck. His blood sprays all over the beasts face as he lets Aaron go to focus on William.

Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap!!

William panics. Magic or silver he keeps thinking. In a desperate attempt William reaches into his pocket for a fist full of silver coins. With some of the coins sticking out between his fingers he tries to punch the creature.

To hit: 22. Dmg: 2 (rolled in game log)

William strikes out with his fist full of silver coins and lands a good blow against its face, opening a small cut  under its eye. The cut remains open. And it wails in pain from the silver.

Hey Gerty, saw that? I can't believe that worked! Let's see if you can do better, haha!
