Gerty casts her line pretty close to where Aaron directed, but a little closer to the weeds. Worried she might snag her line, she pulls on it and hooks a fish. She eagerly fights the fish for several minutes and finally pulls in a 3 pound catfish
"A few hundred yards in that direction...I was scoping out the surroundings to make sure we didn't get jumped again....you know anything suspicious....Well I didn't think I would see a big ole buck turn into an undead-looking buck and then back to a normal buck again.....Bizarre happenings"
Wow! That sounds... crazy! I'm going to take a look!
William goes over to the place Luke described and takes a look. Investigation check: 15 (rolled in game log, Perception has the same modifier).
William searches around the area that look pointed out, but as the sun begins to sink I to the horizon you dont see anything note. You do notice the breeze has a little chill to hit, but the sky is mostly clear, just brilliant orange and yellow sunset

"Hey! there you go, Gert! Look at that, a nice little carp. I think the little ones are actually a bit tastier that the bigger ones." He smiles as starts to descale the fish over the plate. when done, he'll do his best to filet the fish with the knife of his mess kit.
(I'm ready to move forward with the night whenever, I can take first watch :D )

As the night over takes your camp and the lingering scent of fresh fish roasted you all settle in. Proud of your achievements thus far and confident in your ability to handle whatever the Gods throw your way.
you fall asleep very quickly, the full belly, the hard labors and the fresh air create the perfect sedative.
In your deep slumber, the dream state takes you quickly. You are standing on a mountain top, sun shining off your armor and off the beautiful silver blade you hold aloft. You have just been triumphant in a rough battle. You stand upon the carcass of large dragon. Oddly enough you can’t tell what color it is. You step down and grasp it by the horns and are about lop it’s head from its neck, when Rikaria appears next to you. She is wearing a flowing, ethereal dress and looks stunning. For a second she seems dazed, and then, all at once her eyes brighten and she jumps for joy, grasping you by the shoulders. “ it worked! It worked! I can’t believe it worked Gerty….the mistress said I wasn’t ready for this spell, that it would be damage for me…Hah! I am in your dream!”
Rikaria speaks very fast and excitedly fills you in on her lessons and expresses how much she misses you and the group. She also tells you that the Harpells are taking a big interest in the temple you all discovered under the well, and that Mistress Harpell has asked Rikaria to go back there with the Harpell team to sue them the well entrance. Her image starts to fade and she’s says “ we will talk later….stay safe…..”
and she is gone. The space around you is just empty. No more heroic imagery. Just you, yourself and the darkness of the void… no other dreams for you tonight and you get your full rest
(Sorry ill try to make Loran a little more productive. Im still checking regularly. Just not sure what would be right to do i guess? Maybe a product of joining late i suppose. My bad.)
The crickets sing and the fire crackles. The stars twinkle there messages from the cosmos. You keep your eyes peeled and you see the night as you never have before. All the life going on in the stillness of the night, the caps of the prairie grass undulating like waves. You notice the air is much colder tonight than in the past days and off in the distance you can see some cloud formations blotting out the horizon. nothing untoward happens on your watch.
you casually lay down in your bedroll, thinking of how much you have experienced and grown in the last few days as you drift off to sleep.
In your dream you are tracking a large deer. You have been following it for some time and every chance you have had to make a shot has been foiled. It seems this magnificent buck has given you the slip. A cool breeze nips at the sweat on your head, giving you a chill. You pull out the hat from your bag and put it on. Instantly you feel comfortable and in command. You listen to your heart beat and then notice another heart beat, pumping and strong. You realize instinctively that it is your quarry and you follow it the sound in your soul. After it seems like you have stalked a mile or two, you see movement in brush. And then you see the large, broad antlers and you ready an arrow for the shot…..
having fallen to sleep next to one of your favorite sheep, you snore heavily and are in a deep, deep sleep.
You are in your mother’s kitchen, dinner is almost ready and your stomach is growling something fierce. It is Shepard’s pie, and it’s your favorite. There are several pies cooling on the window sill, razzleberry and peach, the scent tells you. You call for your mother and ask when the food will be rdy…
after a moment, there is no answer, you head into the main living room and she is standing there with her back to you, in silence. You call her again and she turns around. She has a serious look on her face and she says it is time for you to be man now. She hands you two short swords, slightly tarnished, but solidly made. “ these were yer Granfathers. They served him well in battle and he earned a great name for his courage. Now it’s your turn….”
As she hands you the swords, the room goes dark and all you see is her face, kind and serious, as if lit by her own light. Out of the darkness from behind her you see the snarling horror of the Bidderboo. This one it’s much bigger and more terrifying than the one you fought. It sinks it’s teeth into your mothers neck and twists her away from you exposing its back. You notice a large scar across its back, from his shoulder to his waste and the dream fades.
when you wake in the morning, you will find the short swords in your gear, so make sure an add them to your character sheet
Catching something on the line, she gives a little whoop! then attempts to bring it in.

Sasha smiles at the politeness of Aaron, ready to help with grilling the fish, and enjoying them before retiring for the night.
(Sasha is ready to take second shift :-)
Gerty beams as Aaron congrats her on her catch. She watches him try to filet his fish and attempts to do the same with hers.
