Luke turns back to Aaron "I agree with ya there. These Gobos have been nothing but a thorn in our side and who knows maybe we can make a little money for our efforts"
You make your way to the edge of the forest before the night takes over. The air is very cold and the clouds have become very dense. You can all feel a storm is likely. The forest thins out into more grassy plains and rolling hills. Not far off the road seems to be an abandoned homestead with a small cabin and some fenced paddocks. The door to the cabin is barely hanging on its hinges and the roof looks to be in pretty rough shape.
"Well, now you've found a damsel in distress, or at least one in dire need of protection, but I see you brought your spear and shield to valiantly fend off any threats towards me and my flock." Sasha says with a warm smile as she walks with lighter steps, leading her flock north. "Say Ufeli, would you stay around with me, I have a feeling you will have plenty of opportunity to show off your gallantry."
“ oh, quite certainly I will stay will you for a bit. A crazy Satyr told me about some great mushrooms to be found in a big hollow oak, not far from the screaming thistle patch. So of course I had to check it out..but when I went into the tree, I came out in that goblin infested forest…so I guess he really intended for me to bump into you…this cheese is outstandin by the way”
"Well, I'm glad you enjoy the cheese Ufeli. Now, would you mind taking a quick look at that homestead yonder, see if there's anyone around or if it's truly abanoned. And be careful my little friend, there might be threats lurking in such a place." Sasha says with a warm smile to the small fey. "I promise you can have more cheese when you get back."
Luke hearing Aaron gets off of Brownie and walks to the cabin. He looks around the perimeter at the structure of the cabin. “We’ve all pitched in back home fixing our homes here and there. Let’s check it out see if it’ll fall on our heads over night.”
"Oh, and would you try this on as a headband?" She asks Ufeli, taking off her Raven signet ring and handing it to the fey. "It allows you to use animal related magic, could be quite useful if you are to be my valiant protector." She adds with a warm smile. Sasha then turns and starts leading her flock of sheep, following Luke towards the apparently abandoned homestead.

The roof seems sturdy enough, only one area near a corner seemed to have a leak, the walls are all sound

The ring looks like an awesome crown on Ufeli’s head, his noble appearance offset by his pudgy physique. all seems quiet and calm from what you can tell. Whomever lived here has been gone for a long time, though there is evidence others have stopped over previously. Some fire rings and old wheel marks in the the dirt. The paddocks fencing are remarkably intact.
Aaron will keep his eyes open at the back, looking toward the forest to make sure any threats that dare test them are met first with his fury.

Aaron’s senses have remained heightened and he can sense/ smell that herd of boar, that Luke mentioned, off in the tree line somewhere. No real threats are perceived, but you do wonder if the wild boar at one time were domesticated and came from this very homestead. You remember hearing that it only takes a pig 90 days to grow tusks when they go feral.
Ufeli returns in short order, having made good time in zipping about the homestead
“ my lady, there grounds seem abandoned and secure. No goblins or other nastiness about. Behind the cabin there be a small grave patch with bout’ 7 graves, all marked with headstones. There be an 8th grave with a stone that had not been filled. It is dug, and there is no name on the stone.“
Sasha informs the others of what Ufeli reported. "A bit creepy, don't you think. Why would they bury people right behind the cabin. If we're staying here I suggest we take a look at those graves to make sure we're not getting visited by the restless dead in our sleep." She suggests to the others, standing with her flock of sheep, ready to herd them into a paddock should the friends decide to saty the here for the night.
Luke raises his eyebrows wondering what the 8th one is for "A family graveyard seems normal for a spot out here like this. The 8th empty grave seems a bit weird. Let's check them out like Sasha suggested. On the bright side the roof and walls look good enough that they won't fall down on us if we stay here"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gerty approaches the cabin with the rest of the gang, "Yes, finding shelter before the storm hits, we actually have some good luck! While you guys check out the gravesites, I'll head inside and see if there is anything of note within." She heads into the cabin and starts looking around.

"Be careful, okay Gerty."Sasha says as the dwarf heads inside the cabin. As her flock of sheep is secured inside one of the paddocks, Sasha continues to the back of the Cabin to cautiously investigate the graves, particularly the unused one.
Investigation: 9 Another roll if Ufeli helps out: 11

Gerty moves into the cabin, being careful not to knock the door from its last hinge. The inside is fairly straightforward and uncomplicated. It’s basically one large room with a loft.
the back wall there is a crudely built bunk bed, with old hay mattresses rotted away. On the right hand of the room is a ladder that goes to the loft. The left wall has a simple, but well constructed fireplace, complete with iron rods to hold pots for cooking. There are a few pots and pans hanging from trivets on the wall next to the fireplace and one larger kettle sitting in front on the stone work. A small table sits near the door on the front wall. There are broken remnants of chairs scattered about and lots of dust and cobwebs.

"Hey that little cabin doesnt seem like such a bad place to hole up for a bit. It would beat being caught in the storm atleast."
High Hopes, Low Rolls. Timezone Is EST.
Surely THIS one will reach an ending...
