An army of goblinoids including thousands of goblins, hundreds of hobgoblins and a lot of bugbears is headed for the city of Freeport after laying siege to the mining town of Daruinjak. The need for heroes is great. Characters of levels three to five are needed to help put a stop to these raiders. If interested, please PM me, Bruce the Barbarian.
There is always lots to do for the Freeport Town Guard, even in peace time. Most pirates come ashore sooner or later, and some pirates prefer to stay on land all the time. Also, there are times when Guarding interests of the Town of Freeport means doing so away from the Town of Freeport. If the reports from Daruinjak are anything to go by, then the times are no longer peaceful. It came as no surprise to Sgt Sloane that a certain number of them would be detailed to work with volunteers and other adventurers in the defence of Freeport. He decided that Leokoris would fit the bill rather neatly...
Misha was definitely not used to the big city. In fact, were it not for the goblin problem, she’d be happily playing her flute and talking to the squirrels all day. Perhaps when this mess was all over she could do so…with another gnomish clan she can call home and family. For now, here she was in Freeport pressed against her will because goblins had run amok in her neck of the woods razing everything she’s known and loved.
Wizard (necromancer) Currently listed as Wizard 1, can increase to appropriate level pending acceptance.
"Oh, hello", she says in a slightly embarrased tone, and covers her blush with her hand. She wears solid pink upper class femine clothes and speaks with the equivalent of an upperclass british accent as she says:
"I'm Primrose Perianth, of the Perianth clan, 13th in line for the throne after my brothers :Peregrine, Percy, Perseus, Pericles, Percival and my sisters Petunia, Peach, Peony, Perinneal, Pearl, Peridot and Persephone. I'm determined to be the first to discover the secret of life...;ITSELF! That will allow mortals to heal and restore life to the fallen. I hope you'll add me to your group of heroes, I'll do my best to be worthy of inclusion." She gives a nervous smile, waiting for the response.
Primrose has the "you'd never expect a villian to wear solid pink" style of Dolores Umbridge (Harry Potter) and the "Good person mistaken for bad" of Queen Eclipsa from "Star vs the Forces of Evil". She speaks in the upperclass British female accent of Eclipsa (ibid). She uses a parasol as an Arcane Focus. Actually the core Rod of the parasol is the focus, the "umbrella" part is window dressing.
Since she has virtually no chance of taking the family throne, she broke from the "marriage or convent" fate of her class to spend her future inheritance on training as a Necromancer.
She honestly thinks she can use Necromantic wizardry to duplicate necromantic healing effects.
Long before the campaign she will have realized: Either she CAN use necromantic magic for healing and ressurection, and has homebrewed "Revivify" and better spells as Necromantic Wizard spells. Or she's realized she CAN'T revive people from death and has found a way to become a "Divine Soul Sorceress" (preferred) or a Life Domain Cleric as a second class to allow necromantic healing. OR the damage of necromantic spells and their usefulness in fighting Goblin hordes has shifted her toward the "Killer Necromancer" trope instead of the "Necromancer Who thinks they Can Heal" trope.
Let me know if she's acceptable, and how to mesh her concept with the campaign.

Varen Skyheart was a simple Aarakocra, living with his tribe in the Alcorith Mountains. The Skyheart Clan were both peaceful and war like, preferring to negotiate and talk over fighting, but were unafraid to defend their homes against all who would do them harm. As they were the undisputed rulers of the Alcorith Mountains, many a people organized treaties with them, giving the clan peace, prosperity, and friendship in return for guarding the mountain pass from evil creatures, and, for a while, life was well. Until the day of the Crimson Snow.
One day, while Varen was out, speaking with some outlanders whom he had found camping in the mountains, he heard the war horn of his people. Rushing to return to his clan’s home, he found that he had returned too late. The mountain sanctuary his people had called home was gone, brought to a smoldering pile of ash and rubble, while the friends and family that had once resided in this place of peace, lay dead before him, their blood tainting the snow of their old home. And amongst the rubble, Varen found a single clue. A goblin army standard, planted in the ashes of his home as a sign of victory.
Varen took his time to grieve, and laid his former clan mates to rest, ensuring their spirits a safe travel to their ancestral home, the Elemental Plane of Air. Once his time for grieving was done however, Varen felt something, a strange darkness in his heart, and a cold hatred that transcended simple anger or rage. And at that moment, he found a new purpose, and a new identity. And as Varen Darkheart, he swore bloody, brutal, and ruthless vengeance against those who had committed this crime against his people. And so, using the skills he had gained throughout his life, he tracked this massive Goblinoid army to the ashes of Daruinjak, and the nearby city of Freeport, and decided to begin his quest for vengeance from there.
