Rhi channels his Ki and DASHes to catch the bugbear running away. He closes the 60 feet and attacks the bugbear fiercely with his spear. (Rolled on sheet)
Abugbear attacks Vanessa and misses. Another attacks Waltz and misses, too. The fleeing bugbear takes a massive hit but keeps on running, dodging any further attacks as it goes.
(Prim waits to see if the running bug bear lives to keep running before casting. If Rhi kills it, she'll target a different bugbear if allowed)
Speaking words that produce a second of drowsiness in listeners, a spray of magic sparkles that resemble rose petals spray from Prims umbrella, striking the bug bear with 30 pts of sleep damage.
The running bugbear is taken out by Rhi's attack, allowing Prim to redirect her spell at the remaining two bugbears. Exhausted from battle, they both fall to the ground asleep and unconscious.
"So, does anyone speak bugbear to question them? Or should I use their life force to heal someone?" Prim asks in a chipper tone that seems out of place with the topic.
(Shadowqueen, If the magic is approved for use in the game, Prim will be interested)
While the group decides what to do next Rhi finds a nice flat spot nearby, he drops to the ground, crosses his legs and begins to hum to himself, centering his being and recharging his ki.
11. The weak swordsman clings to his instrument. It is better you have a sword, but death must lie under your fingernails, if need be. Learn death with your elbows, death with your knees, and death with your thumbs and fingertips. It is said death with the tongue is useful, but I find words too soft an instrument to smash a man’s skull.
Okay. So, you all get a short rest before continuing. Once you are all healed up and ready to go, unless you decide to question the bugbear, let me know.
Meanwhile, as you continue toward the camp, you see a hobgoblin instructing several goblins beneath a tall, sprawling oak tree. If you are ready, I need a stealth check from whomever is scouting ahead.
(Just checking. Were the sleeping bugbears snuffed, or are they still asleep? If asleep, Prim will pull a dagger and ask "If we aren't going to question them, shouldn't we silence them? And hide the bodies in the bushes to buy us a little time before the others sound the alarm?")
(Is "coup de gras", automatic kill by cutting unconsious throats a thing in 5E? Or is that just 2E?)
If no one else does it, Prim will strain her weak nerd arms into dragging bugbears into the bushes so they aren't incredibly obvious at least.
"So, Vanessa, what are these scrolls and gems again?"
(all before we encounter the Hob drill sargeant & troops. Sorry, wizards don't scout ahead without invisibility)

You're good, Prim. You go after Vanessa, who is after the bugbears (what's left of them). Right now, it is Rhi's turn.

Vanessa, Prim, then Waltz.
Casting spell discussed on the runner)
(Do I get an AOO chance after he leaves melee range?
Yes, take your AOO, Rhi, then Prim's sleep spell (?) goes off.
Rhi whips out his spear and slashes at the back of the retreating bugbear. (rolled on sheet)

Okay. So, Rhi is resting, Vanessa is celebrating, and Prim is trying to decide what to do next. Waltz, what are you doing?
Waltz will be cleaning off his sword.
"We should continue to the camp. This was just a distraction."
