Varlan jumps down from the train and quickly scans the area, looking for any sign that might suggest the location of Tebith's Lounge. When nothing immediately stands out to him, he turns to his new compaions. "Anyone know how to find Tebith's Lounge? If not, I guess we ask around."
(( If any of his companions volunteers information, he will gladly follow them, otherwise he will go to the food stall and ask directions ))
After breathing the air for a few minutes, he takes the bandana that was around his neck and tinkers with it for a few moments, then places it over his nose and mouth. The faint scent of fresh-cut lemons seems to surround him.
“Allow me. I’m good with people…” Finn says as she jogs over to a stall close, but not too close, to the group and talks to the proprietor for a minute. She of course could have led them right there but Finn prefers to seem to fit in everywhere but belong to none. Even those who know her wouldn’t be apt to acknowledge her while she was with strangers. At least unless she seemed in trouble…
“They say Tebith’s Lounge is thattaway a bit,” she advises as she returns to the group. “I got directions…”
Finn will lead the group to the locale with no real problems. She will pause at one turn to consider if it was left or right but it’s really just a slight pause and she quickly spots a landmark the proprietor supposedly told her to look for and has them there in a jiffy.
((Does Finn know the type of place it is? Fancy? Dive bar? Average local? She would only tell the others the most general reputation of the place - Dude asked why we wanted such a hole, or such, but would try to recall for herself all she could.))

Sieghart looks around the area. As this is the first time he comes to this district, he is shocked by the level of destitution. He can’t help but to keep a hand close to his coin pouch by fear of becoming a target for a cutpurse.
He follows Finn, who seems surprisingly more familiar with the area than anyone else in their group.
“Said there’s no signs so easy to miss… but with yhe color of the building and how far from the corner, easy peasy…” Finn says, feigning some concern. She can’t help but smile to herself as she sees Sieghart keep his hand so close to his valuables, clearly showing where he kept them and that he was a tourist here. She thought about warning him… but she doesn’t really know these people so c’est la vie, as the gnomes are known to say.

The party notices the horrid smell is gone and the area seems cleaner. Tebiths Lounge door is within a well kept alleyway lined with decorative plants and bushes. There's currently no one else near the alleyway besides the party members. It is currently noon.
His question about the group was answered almost immediately as two more arrived. Small chat was had until they went their way to the alliance office. Inside they found a tiefling that from all his panache Noah could not find anything but weak. Arrogance and theatricality are born of ignorance and insecurity. Maybe because of the transformation he understood it better, but one only spend the time looking threatening when there is no guarantee one strength is enough. Wild beasts do so to avoid fights, since a single lost means death and a victory built upon wounds can easily mean a defeat in the next combat. To use of that in front of allies was to feel risk even amongst them. To seek affirmation like a child. It matters not, he decided paying attention to the information given.
Back outside he felt relief away from the stench of smoke. Since the transformation he started to hate cigars and the like. On the way to Pauperis he introduced himself to the newcomers and his mind wandered to the possibility of their target, this Ellis Moir, knowing something about the Professor.
“Well, now comes the practical questions.” He said as the group reached the entrance of the Lounge.“Once inside how will we tackle this? Disperse the group, but keeping withing thirty feet range of one another? Move as a unit? Chances of fighting breaking out are likely so it is probably a good moment for us to tell who is good at what range. I am more of a front liner, but I can make a good shoot with a crossbow.”
"If a fight breaks out, we've failed to take the easiest route. Calm yourself. And plan only that you may need to act. Anything else is hubris in this circumstance. Although... Getting a cabby here may be difficult. Our exit worries me more than our entry." Norros doesn't look concerned, but he does take a look around outside to see if anyone is playing lookout
As Norros looks around he sees 3 gargoyle statues up high among the masonry. One of them ever so slightly moves its eyes to get a better look at the party.
Norros points out the gargoyles. "Watchers on the walls. Our return trip is the greater worry." Norros' aloof demeanor begins to diminish, as he starts to realize just how great a distance they have to cover. "Let's find an alternative exit if we can."
(I am afeared this is about to become 'The Warriors' lol)
((How well does Finn k ow this place? Would it usually be locked? Is there a sign to gain entrance or such? Or we outside normal hours of the establishment?))

“Look to reality for a bit, rich kid.” He said in a strangely calm manner, focusing on his sense of hearing and smell. They truly didn’t seem to be followed. “Large group, practical skills, little information to go on, competing with Low Landers. If you still think there will be anything easy about this whole ordeal, then you are either in denial or the one acting out of hubris. I don’t know how things work in your side of the city, but when it comes to surviving on the harsher bits you wish for the best but prepare for the worst. You plan for everything you can.”
And even that may not be enough, as anyone with a fair share of close encounters with death could attest. Fortunately the well-dressed man was not oblivious to danger, and rapidly found strange statues. Enchanted sentinels? The Bloodhunter considered the possibility as the Finn tried opening the door. Locked.
“Assuming they already know we are here…” Noah said resisting the urge to point to the gargoyles. There was no way for him to be sure, but considering the place was used for bets and less reputable acts chances were those statues made sure security knew of their arrival. “Could we get in as clients?”He asked Finn.

Norros follows suit, using a rather obvious but of magic to scent a purple silk handkerchief like roses.

(Are gargoyles uncommon? I’m assuming so but best to be sure…)

“Did the follow us here” Finn asks trying to take a look at them without looking at them. “Or were they staking out the door when we got here?”
“Still, we’re going in to look either way so…” Finn then opens the door and steps inside.

The door is locked. The party can try lock picking or knocking on the door

there are several options
1. knock on the door and bluff your way in
2. lock pick and stealth your way in
3. Find a member and steal his members card
4. Find alternative entrance possibly through sewers
5. Bash the door in and charge your way in
6. Your own creative way in
Shave and a haircut, Finn hums as she knocks on the door…
“If we can’t talk our way in, we resort to plan B,” she advises, turning to the door and putting on a smile so she can act all cute and innocent.
