Auria see's that the little girl is happy to be back with her father. This truth brings a smile to her face as she refills her ale, but makes sure to take a swig before refilling so that it is spilling out before she corks it back up. " I will walk in front to guard and light our way." She keeps the Light spell on her shield placing it on her back and pulling her crossbow around her shoulder by its strap so it was something if she had to quickly let it go it would just dangle by her side if she had to cast a spell.
Rethan pulls one of th vials from his belt. You know, this might come in handy if I’m gonna keep drinking like this...he downs the antitoxin. He hands the second goal to Venvyre. You look like you could use this too.
He takes another long pull on his aleskin before filling it back up
Con save: 18 (not sure if antitoxin would kick in for this roll or not. Feel free to just take the first roll if not).

You downed your ale and managed to stay tipsy as you cast your Light spell on your shield.

With the help of the Antitoxin, you managed to keep your intoxication at minimum.
( It would have an immediate effect but it only last for one hour, just enough for one CON save throw )
Firen flexes his muscles...."Alright...I'll pull" Glancing at the others to see who seems to have the strength to pull a wagon....and coming away not so impressed.

Jamari seeing Jack and his daughter reminds him of his son whose soul lies in the clutches of that damned demon. Before he can finish his line of thought he downs the rest of his ale before refilling it from the cask.

Well knowing he was about to be yolked next to Firen like some beast of burden, especially since the lightweights were over there sharing an antitoxin for a handful of ales, Jamari stripped off his leather armor. He was glad to be free of the reeking thing as it smelled of a putrid corpse and that was before he had to fight zombies in it. Seeing Andcis wield her pact magic had given Jamari some ideas on some modifications to his own spells and the encounter with the Shadow Demon had strengthened the bond of his pact. Concentrating, he summoned vapor thin wisps of the eldritch shadows of the abyss about himself like an etherial armor [Casts Mage Armor]. Now more mobile and better protected than ever, Jamari stretched and limbered before calling out to Rethan, "I won't be needing that armor any more, I've got a new spell to protect me. That leather armor has saved my life many times and I'd be honored if you donned it to protect yours." Jamari said solemnly before turning away smirking.
Walking over to Jack he said, "Can you give me more details on our destination and route? Also, what can we expect as far as terrain and hazards, besides the undead?" Jamari also takes the time to explain the discoveries he and the party made while in the down.
Following Jack's response to his initial questions, Jamar asks, "Do you know who this man with the skeletal hand my be? Were you aware or do you suspect who the members of this cult-like group that the Scrigglebottoms apparently belonged to?"
OOC: DM, I took the invocation that allows me to cast Mage Armor on myself at will without expending a spell slot. Please assume Jamari recasts it on himself every 7-8 hours as appropriate. I updated my AC to reflect this as well.

Jamari is ready to wreck some zombies!
Jack tries to collect his thoughts before speaking
"We can expect to see few people going to the farm since it is far from this hamlet. As for the cult, I don't have any information as far as I remember."

Jamari took a moment to consider, this farm seemed like it was an hour or more away. From there he could only assume that Jack would want to head towards the city for safety. The city was Jamari's destination as well, he had to tell his parents and parents-in-law about what happened to Kirlla [his wife], but he also had an obligation to stop this skeletal-handed wizard. They had no leads except for that cloaked group they saw coming here, but leaving the village would only exacerbate the problem. Jack and his daughter seemed safe here for the time being and putting them on the road was certainly not much safer.
Coming to a conclusion he gathered the rest of the group and explained his line of thinking ending with, "If we leave the town now our only lead on the skeletal hand man will dry up. It's foolish to just hope he will conveniently accost us on the road so we could deal with him on the way and even if he did that would only put Jack and his daughter in more danger. I say we take a moment to better secure this building, then leave these two here while we follow the trail of the cloaked group we saw earlier." Finished, he waited tensely for their reply.
Manfully recovering for having given that charismatic, and ultimately unnecessary, speech, Jamari guzzled more ale and topped off his waterskin once more.
"It seems both of our goals may align after all. Still, that puts in the same situation I mentioned before. Jack and his daughter will be in more peril by marching them straight into a cult of necromancers then if just left them here. Assuming we come in contact with this cult at the stables, we would have to battle them while also protecting Jack, his daughter, and Rethan." Jamari pointed out sagely. Something about the bard invited ridicule. It must be a bard thing, Jamari thought to himself.

Jack sat on the chair as he ponders for a second
"Those that would pull the Wagon can find somewhere we could hide it while the others could search the stables. After finding a suitable spot, they can join the other group while my daughter and I could hide waiting."

Jamari considered Jack's plan, "So be it, I see you are set leaving here and I won't stop a man from trying to protect his only child." he said seriously. "Though I say we stick together and approach the stables all together after hiding you and your daughter. If the other four were to run into trouble without Firen and I around, they'd have no frontline fighters to cover them."
He glanced at Firen who was watching the conversation before turning to the others, "What say you all? A toast for the road then we get these two somewhere safe closer to the stables before we check it out?"
Auria's light shield would be fine so she knew she should be toward the front to guide the party, this rain was going to make things interesting and in the back of her mind she wondered is this rain a natural one, or is something else effecting the weather to hamper our movement? It was hard enough without the rain a muddy walk would slow them down even more. borrowing one of the mugs sitting at the bar Auria filled up another pint of ale and sloshed it down. As it hit the bar with a thud she looked at the others. "Well sounds like as good of a plan as any lets get this family to safety!" Auria's voice was loud and boisterous now no subtlety to it. The ale clearly was doing it job. She walked toward the closest two party memebers putting her arms over both of their shoulders standing over six feet tall it was little trouble. "Well boys! Lets do this!"

As the lights fall dim Andcis's,eyes begin to glow a deep red and she doesn't seem to notice the change in light in the room at all as she drinks again from her pot and fills it calmly from the cask she turns to Jack. "Would you happen to have any food left or a drop of water I can keep drinking till I fall flat on my face but I'd like to have a bit of sustenance to keep that time far off." She then turns to the party, "I agree lets head to these stables ill keep an eye out leading the wagon a bit as the darkness does not affect me, my demon has granted me the use of his eyes and I can see as clearly in darkness as day."

In the middle of your discussion you hear a loud crackling of thunder followed by lightning.
All of you looked at the window and see the sky is covered by dark clouds and heavy rain begun to pour down.

" This might be a good time to move out. The rain could cover our tracks and reduce the sound we make. Prepare yourselves before we head out. "
( CON saves must settled before heading out. You can also use ability checks while waiting for the others to finish )
