So... this is very little information to go off of... Are you saying you are recruiting for a "end of days" game, or are you seeking a DM / Game regarding an end of days setup? (I'm totally assuming it's an end of days setup, and not like, the last days of a great empire before it falls). If you are the DM and recruiting, could you give some more information about the setup? What is the setting? What is your campaign play-style, combat heavy, RP, or a mix? Any specific race/class/etc rules to character generation, and what would the character goals be? Do the characters know survival is impossible, or are they ignorant to how bad things really are and just trying to survive? In either scenario, are evil characters welcome? What about undead? So many questions!
I want to start this as a game like thing.

Hi James,
Here's my idea for a character.
Name: Nate Stonebridge
Race: Gnome
Class: Rouge
Background: Smuggler
Backstory: We can work though the specifics but something along the lines of he smuggled food in and people out of bad areas/situations
Ability scores: 12 16 10 14 10 15
D&D since 1984
James Bronzeheart:
elf
rouge
backround: former elvish wizard school dropout.
(We will just be telling a story like thing no ability scores will be needed at this point)
James Bronzeheart.
