Sparhawk considers, "yes Frangi, lets try it again. "(Between horse, dwarf, half orc, and "Bjorn" we'll give it some hard hits to try to break through it together.)
(Could get Lir to do Bull strength) to help with breaking through the lock/ hinge, but we may need to get moving , before this green stuff corrodes our stuff/ lungs. This stuff reminds me of what happened to Peppi at Abernaths house)
“Indeed” the stubborn paladin shrugs. “The arch feels like where he wants us to go. I feel like another trap that way but could just be an exit or teleport. “
Sparhawk seems quite unsettled, probably from his chat with the god
(Pending the green stuff making it obvious we need to go now, we’’ll give it one try. Then be on our way)
(Dwar, one more try unless it is quite clear that the green slime stuff will make us move now! How do we do a combined strength check to break open the door? Will look for the weak point on the door, joints, lock. We have a crow bar, etc.)

The most is creeping but you could give it another try. The other option is trying g to destroy the door, it has hit points. That way you don't bother with the DC. So attack it
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing that the door is iron, and not wanting to get trapped, he'll draw his warhammer and give it a mighty swing with both hands. "Lets break this thing down if we have time."
Attack: 14 Damage: 6 (no advantage?)
Not wanting to be defeated by a door today, "After a few tries, if the mist is getting too close, time to head the other way." says the stubborn paladin,

( you get the strength bonus/ advantage from the spell)
Sparhawk slams into the door with the warhammer putting a good dent into it, while Frangipani water horse kicks dent it further. ( the door has 60 hp to start. You have enough time for 2 rounds before critical mass)
Bjorn sighs. "This isn't gonna w-- whoa!" He sidesteps the charging goat. "Okay, I suppose it's worth a try..."
[Intuition tells me that Sparhawk's spikey morningstar is not gonna do much to this door and I'd be better off making one attack with, say, a magical maul, than two with the morningstar. Is that... Accurate?]
Lir backs away as far as possible, bends down and shifts into a Giant Goat - before charging the door!
To hit - 24
If Lir-Goat connects, 9 ram attack plus 6 bludgeoning.
Lir the goat rams into the door putting a deepdent into it and causing a loud gong like sound the reverberate through room. The door is beginning to make a v shape.

"We'll never get past this thing by force," Bjorn grunts, "and the lock is a little better than the others. We'd best go the other way."
[You'd need a hell of a Strength bonus to bust down an iron door. Like +10 at least.]

[Lir casts Enhance Ability/bull's strength on Sparhawk (advantage on strength checks), for whatever good it might do. Like Bjorn he's dubious]

Eberk pulls his warhammer and straps his shield to his back. He takes a swing with both hands.
Attack: 17 Damage: 5
After Bjorns attack, Sparhawk takes another swing

Eberk adds a nice dent of his own and you all can hear the hinges begin to groan
(one more round from Frangihorsi, Lirigoatie, Bjorn, Eberk!!!)
