The mist from the other room snuffs out the torch left on the ground and seems to have quit flowing into the treasure room. It just seems to linger, a few inches above the ground. The sickening sound of the fur and hairs continued transformations can be heard as you take in the scene in this new room. You can see there is little adornment here and the walls are not stone like the rest of the tower, but are covered in iron, like the doors.
Lir-Goat snorts at the stalled mist.
Trots up to the North door and gives it a nudge, then a slightly harder knock with his forehead.

You feel a strong pull and desire to get a closer look at the book. If you desire to resist the urge roll wis dc17, otherwise go check it out
(Funny, I missed the skull tomb post) Sparhawk gives Bjorn a new torch
seeing the skull and tomb “No Frangipani”
Sparhawk takes out his warhammer and sizes up the evil skull. “this thing needs to be destroyed!” Sparhawk says in a quiet voice of a man that knows he might die today
Sparhawk looks at his friends. “this skull is pure evil and very powerful undead”
“It appears to be damaged as it only has one eye”
“I have never encounter one but I believe my mentors of my order called this a Lich” He pauses in thought. “As soon as we touch it, it will awaken and attack”.
“I think it may not be effected by much, our weapons may not harm it.and I’m sure it can cause us to feel complete terror. I believe it is capable of killing us with one attack. I don’t know how to destroy it. I don’t know why it is here.” He pauses again, sweat dripping from his brow. Never has the crew seen Sparhawk more resolute
WIS: 5 (Add 2 if it's a saving throw, I'm proficient in those)
Bjorn:
You hear a voice in your head: " you have great potential for power. You resisted the might of the light God Marduk. Your chaos energy is limitless. Take up my book, learn its secrets and find the true artifact and no being of this realm will have the power to stop you"
You are possessed and have an uncontrollable desire to take the book for your own. You will do anything to stop anyone else fro. Preventing you on your path to power. There is no apparent change in your normal behavior or personality other than this. You know from this encounter the skull on the ground is not the real artifact. There are no further saving throws for this effect. The source of the possession much be destroyed. That could be the book or it could be whom created it
Sparhawk, getting ready to crush the skull and perhaps meet his death, sends out a wave of Divine sense, hoping to determine what he is dealing with.
Strangely, he does not detect it on the Lich. He looks to get ready to take a swing, then pauses. Could it be some sort of decoy, or just a strange treasure?
"Hum, I'm not picking up anything on the skull, but there is...something in here..." He looks to the group. "Hold Eberk a moment, lets make sure we have a plan. Dont want anyone running back into that green mess. Anyone wanna see if its magical before I crush this skull?"
Sensing that Sparhawk is very wound up about this, Bjorn lays down the magic staff and torch, and conjures his pact weapon as a maul (2d6). "So it's playing dead, then? If it's trickery it wants, then trickery it shall receive." He casts Invisibility on himself and tries to quietly move to the other side of the room (hide). Stealth: 18
Lir-Goat trots past Sparhawk and looks at the source of compulsion he just experienced.
He cocks his leg, gives the thin pedestal a sharp kick to knock the book off its perch (let me know if there's a check for this).
And once it lands Lir-Goat promptly turns and relieves himself on it.
The book hits the ground with an iron like thud. Sounding a lot heavier than it should be. Lir’s urine stream seems to absorb into the disturbing looking leather cover and after a moment returns back onto Lir, but with a sickly looking green tint to it. Lir make a constitution save throw, dc 17 for 1/2 of 20 of necrotic damage

Lir-Goat is perfectly happy where he is. Being a goat. Just hanging out.

seeing the skull and tomb “No Frangipani”
Sparhawk takes out his warhammer and sizes up the evil skull.
“this thing needs to be destroyed!” Sparhawk says in a quiet voice of a man that knows he might die today
”Earthlord, what do we do with this?”
Frangipani looks deeply confused.
Eberk looks at the skull and begins to walk towards it. “We pray… but first we break the evil piece of shit.”
Frangipani looked across at Lir wondering what all the fuss about bones was...
Sparhawk looks at his friends.

“We need a plan to defeat this thing of horror.”
