From across the hall, "Hey Bjorn, I liked how you looked better invisible." Sparhawk grinned to himself. He so enjoyed messing with his perplexing friend. "By the way, thanks for the save out there. It seems the beasts here really enjoy paladin, or perhaps it shiny things."
Frangipani stares at the collapse for a long time considering shifting and trying to slither through it but ultimately decides to go see what the others are doing.
You all are at the first intersection at the bottom
(OOC: If everyone still ok with Sparhawk leading....)
"Alright, now that we are all together, anyone not wanna explore this area a bit?"
(Assuming no one says no)
"Lets try to be organized here. We've sprung too many traps in the past."
"Eberk, Lir, Bjorn, your team 1. How about checking the door on the right." Sparhawk winks at Bjorn.
"Frangipani and I will check the left and then join you."
"Right. I'll snoop around using Eberk's magic sight, and if there's another spider I'll send in Lir." Bjorn's disembodied voice moves to the door.
Frangipani heads left looking about with interest.
Perception- 3
Lir sighs sadly.
"...no. No more spider fun for Lir."
Looks about at the others "I could taste smells with my legs!"
Sparhawk (forgetting that he is also invisible) will join Frangipani (Perception: 6
Eberk approaches the door and tries to slowly push it open.
The left hallway ends In rubble where the roof has caved in.
The door Eberk pushes on seems to be locked. It is a simple door of fine make and seems to be made of sturdy, oak type wood
"Gonna have to drop Invisibility to tinker with this lock. Anyone else wanna try something first?"
Lir taps Eberk on the shoulder and silently hands him a slightly glowing pebble.
Then mimes a lobbing motion.
Frangipani stares at the collapse for a long time considering shifting and trying to slither through it but ultimately decides to go see what the others are doing.
“Anyone wanna try picking the lock or should I give it a go?" (Sparhawk points to his warhammer).
Eberk takes a step back from the door before throwing the stone towards the lock.
Attack: 14 Damage: 9
The exploding stone cracks the door and fills the hallways with dust and noise. After the dust settles, Eberk can push the remains of the door open.
Sparhawk, quite impressed by the technique. "My type of lockpick Lir, and excellent throw, Eberk!"
"Frightening stuff." Bjorn's laughter is heard from nearby. "If anyone's thinking of ambushing us, they'll be thinking twice now."
"Let's see what that lock was protecting." The dust stirs as his unseen form steps through the doorway.
"Wait, did you say taste smells? With your legs?"
Seems likely an Investigation check is in order. 8
If it seems like there's nothing living in the area, he'll call the others in.
Lir sighs. "No. Not anymore."
