Once Beowolf says "honest work" I appear and say, "Hello there. I am part of Beowulf's party, and I speak for the all of us when I say we're all in if there is payment involved.
Gundren is pleased with your response and says "Wonderful! I will pay each of you 10 GP for your troubles. Now make sure to wear your armor and wield your weapons, as the path to Neverwinter isn't exactly 'safe'"
(Apologies. Will try and be quicker and short for replies.)
It was an unfortunate truth that small and female rarely inspired confidence on first impressions. Add to that furry and 'cute' and all hope was gone. So, despite her aristocratic roots and silver tongue, Cassia all to often left it to a 'man' to break the ice while she put her other Frith-given abilities to good use.
She'd remained among her other new companions, giving Beowolf only an affirming nod before he set off. She sat enjoying her (rather stale) glass of carrot juice with broad ears attuned to all happenings in the room. She pays particular attention when he mentions "brothers". (Are said brothers in the room or does anyone present otherwise react to Gundren's job request?)
She was close enough to catch the conversation but pretended otherwise. She tapped a foot along to her companions performance, giving him genial praise when he returned, and looks to Beowolf as he returns. Having heard it all herself, she doesn't question but gives her own immediate answer instead.
"Sounds a reasonable job and simple enough. I'm in. When do we leave?"
Sadly, my companions and I just received an offer for a job for 15 gold pieces. Your going to have to do better than that if you want us to do this job. I whisper to Cassia, "Play along."
Cassia gives the barest twitch of her whiskers, evidence that she'd heard and consented to the lie.
"Oh, you're quite right. That was due to start today. Shame really. You know I quite like the sound of this one more. If only he could up the commission, no?"
She lent her own stare to the man, firm and unflinching as if this other job was no news to her and waited to see if he'd up the offer.
"I will meet their price, and I will make it 16 GP each if you tell me who offered you this." He sounds reluctant to up his price, but he does need adventurers.
Standing with my jaw slightly ajar, I can only admire my beguiling companions as they negotiate for better terms. Suddenly I realize that I may be giving away the secret by the stunned look on my face and as I close my mouth I mutter under my breath, ‘Fortune, truly does favor the bold.’.
Cassia lingers in the main tavern for a time. Partly to keep her female companion, Gwylla, company until she tires of her study and partly to see if she can charm her way into a free meal from some generous male patron (no spells attempted, just feminine wiles and flattering conversation).
Successful or not, she will retire when Gwylla does.
As you step off the stage, The owner gives you 1 silver piece (sp) and says "nice job on the performance."

I thank him and ask for a drink.
They start making your drink and ask for 5 copper (cp(you can turn 1 sp to 10 cp)) and a dwarf walks up to the stage with her flute in hand.
They play about as good as you did

Alright, I hand him the five copper, and take my drink back to a booth, thank them, and just quietly observe what happens in the bar.
Not much is happening, except for the performers coming up after you. You do see Beowolf talking to Gundren.

I need to find someplace to buy some spell components. I ask Gundren if he can point me in the direction of a merchant who can provide such supplies.
