200 years ago the ogres, orcs, and other dark, terrible beings led a revolt against the hegemony controlling the fractured realm. The rebellion lasted for 125 years, in the end, the world was divided between the enslaved lands, neutral territory, the wild lands, and the free countries.
The enslaved lands are hellish countries ruled by ogres and their own gluttony, anyone that trespasses that was not part of the rebel alliance in the revolt is immediately captured and enslaved, doomed to spend the rest of eternity slaving for the ogres. Neutral territory are places such as the Isles of Vomad, and the Island of Lycia, that the ogres didn’t bother invading because of their small size or population. The wild lands are between the countries of Iclaria and Wescijan, they were areas decimated by the ogre invaders, and left to ruin. But over time nature reclaimed these fallen landscapes, there are many fallen empires just waiting to be discovered. Lost treasures and Ancient monsters. Most rangers and druids took refuge in the wild lands after the war. The free countries are the civilizations that survived the attack from the ogres, and now live in constant fear of another revolt.
Our story begins…
It has felt like weeks, months even. Although it has probably been about nine days. You’re constantly on alert. Constantly terrified that something will pounce from behind the brush. Good thing we will be arriving in Iclaria in just a couple of days. It was dumb luck that you ran into each other, each with the same goal; reach Iclaria. You have been traversing the wild lands in order to enter Iclaria, each with your own motives and obstacles that brought you here.
Rules for the campaign
You must provide a backstory for your character, as well as a link to the character sheet.
You may swear in this campaign but PLEASE no serious swear words such as f*ck or c**t.
To keep this campaign moving please be able to post at least once a day and notify me if you can't post for a period of time longer than 24 hours.
Homebrew classes, races, and weapons are allowed but please private message me the info about the homebrew content.
No sexual or racist jokes or I will kick you and report you.
Role-playing is essential.
Please set the way of gaining xp to milestones.
Your character should start this quest at level two.
I would like for all new players that are joining to type up a backstory that explains where they came from, and why they are traveling in the wild lands.

Ok, all new-comers, (with the exception of Aaron Firehand and Jedir), please post a backstory that explains why your character is traveling in the wild lands to get to Iclaria.
Back Story: It’s not so much that Edwin is running to Iclaria, as that he is running away from where he came from. He was on a ship, but it was overcome by pirates. The crew, his friends, they were executed one by one, until only Edwin was alive. And the pirates decided to make his death long and miserable, so they stranded him on a desert island, without food, water, or means of escape. 40 days he was on that island, burnt from the sun, eating fish raw. When it came to him, he was near death; he thought he was hallucinating. It asked him to do things; he made promises he can’t bear to recall. He doesn’t exactly remember what happened next, but he woke up on a beach in the wildlands. He told the others he was going to see an Aunt in Iclaria’s capital (he did have an aunt there), but the truth was he just wanted to get as far away from the sea as possible. What the sea wanted, didn’t bear thinking about.
