You can't target all 3, the bandits are spread out across a intersection. The thug is on the far end of the intersection left side and the bandits are on the near end left and right side of the road in the woods.

Which do you target? Everyone roll Initiative.
Boomi: 15
Thug: 4
Bandit 1: 12
Bandit 2: 6
((Oh I thought they were culstered together (that's way I asked) if Justin couldn't get more than 1 Bandit he wouldn't have wasted a bead from the Necklace of Firebals))
OOC:Well let's pull a sands of time. That's my bad for now explaining it well.
The party is 43 feet from the intersection. A fireball has not been thrown. The bandits are still in the woods off the road in the following line up: assuming north is up. NW is the Thug, SW bandit 1, SE bandit 2.
The initiative order is: Justin, Minty, Huck, Boomi, Bandit 1, Thug, Bandit 2.
Since the fire ball was not thrown initiative has not started but the gig us up they know we are here. There us time for 1 more action each.
Boomi turns to the party. I'm going to continue on see if I can distract them let you lot get the jump.
Boomi will be on high Alert (dodge action) and walk ahead 30 feet like he is unaware. Sheld out hammer away.
((No problem. My bad for not understanding it well))
Justin uses Channel Divinity: Sacred Weapon or a +3 to attack rolls. His Warhammer now emits bright white light, but he tries the hide while gingerly walking a bit up to the intersection (behind Boomie, only like 15 ft of movement).
Minty has seen groups like this before. If they were intent on ambush, they are not likely to be reasoned with, at least not without some incentive. Minty expects the more thuggish one to be in charge. Maybe the others will be more willing to listen to reason if he goes away.
Minty takes careful aim at the thug and fires a bolt at him.
Attack: 18 Damage: 11
Sneak Damage: 3
((If this is not the type of action you had in mind ignore or consider it Minty's action for the first round.))

Huck will send a few bees to hover inconspicuously behind Boomi. Then he'll creep *10 ft.* closer, draw his crossbow, and use his action to Hide, in the hopes of getting advantage on his attack. Stealth: 16
So I think one of those Bandits is within 30 ft now? Justin will rush up and gives him a good old swing with his Warhammer: Attack: 25 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Justin you see 2 bandits and a Thug hiding off the path up ahead, ready to ambush passers-by
Minty draws and loads his crossbow then attempts to hide among the trees where he can ambush the ambushers.
Stealth: 8
Seems ambushing is not in season on either side.
Really? Not this again!
(How far away are they and how close together are they? Say within 120 ft from us?)

Boomi will ready his hammer and sheld.
Shall we go say ello?
Ooc: I'll roll for it. They are 43 ft ahead
I'm real tired of these Bandits and Thugs. Lan, if you're there you better start running!
Justin takes one of the bead of his Necklace of Fireballs and throws it in the middle of Bandits and Thug. The bead detonates as a lvl 3 Fireball.
26 Fire dmg. Half with a dex save of 15.

I lost my epic post. Sigh. Sum up. Fire bolt hit. Huck is hidden. Start combat.
