Seeing the creature stab again with the nasty looking trident, still dripping his blood, Dex slams the head with his shield, blocking the blow. The unexpected magical force flows through him and he can feel the wound close almost to completeness.
He fakes with his shiled and delivers an upper cut swing with his mace again hoping to put the creature down or at least out enough he and the other two can make the gangplank.
Realizing time is runnning short Dex moves to finish this. The creature is still too close for a decent sacred flame attack. He parrys the trident again, deflecting it. It glances off the scale armor. As the creature is recovering he delivers another swing with the mace, trying to put it down.
The Sahuagin growls and stabs with the trident. Briefly distracted Dex is slow on his parry with the shield forcing the trident down instead of outside. The tines sink deep into his thigh, a spurt of blood spraying out when it is pulled back. Stumbling but maintaing his feet he recognizes the faerie fire for what it is and uses that to his advantage to finish the creature off. Unable to move as nimbly as before he plants his good leg and takes another swing with his mace, calling on the name of Avandra for aid.
Dex nods to Ridani a thanks. "Heal yourself if you can. I am out of divine favor! Move to the ship!" Quickly he looks around for the healer they saw earlier to yell for aid for his companion. He looks at the Giant Crab and readies one of the few spells he can summon still. Even with the minimal training he has received in the arts the minor spells are simple for him. As he moves to the gangplank he cups his hand in front of him, raises it quickly and drops it. He calls out "ugrir ogget" as a pillar of flame appears on the crab. (Cast sacred flame and use any movement to back away to the gangplank.
Ridani slashes with all her might sundering the Giant crabs shell and nearly cutting the Giant crab in 2.
End of Combat. There are no other enemies left nearby
A crew member approaches "That was mighty fine fighting if I do say so myself. Now we can shove off or wait an hour if you 2 have any unfinished business on this doomed isle"
(The Isle is sinking slowly so you have time to investigate the other parts of the isle. If you want to)
Are there any buildings that would be worth looing (salvaging?) before it goes under?
"We should at least make a quick round to look for any survivors." Dex looks to the crew member who spoke. "I am going to make a quick run around the island and see if there is anyone we can help to get out. Wait for me here it won't take long." He adjusts his armor and takes off on a jog, as best as can be in armor, and tries to cut a path to see the most of the island he can in one pass around. It doesn't look very big so he will take 15 minutes or so to do a pass and will stop to investigate anyone he sees or if there are any buildings that may have salvage.
Without waiting for acknowledgement from either Ridani or the other healer he takes off on a jog in a north west direction to check as much as he can quickly.
I am not really sure what all the buildings are but I suppose running between P7 and P10 toward the market stalls. If he sees anything in that building that looks like it needs checking on he can move to that otherwise moving to the maket stalls and giving them a once over for anything useful or of decent value. While jogging through he yells "can anyone hear me? Anyone still alive?"
Once done at the market if it hasn't been more than 20 minutes he will take a run through the houses doing the same.
Dex growls from his inability to help the villagers. Knowing a fire spell is pretty useless against a creature in the water, Dex does the only thing he can think of. Moving into the water to where he can stand with the water being around waist deep. He readies his secondary weapon, a utilitarian crossbow. Loosing an arrow he shoots for the forward shark, hoping to distract them.

You see empty buildings along the way until you run to the North Shore

You see a Sahuagin in the middle, 10 ft underwater. It seems to be controlling the sharks as it gestures with its hands and the shark follows.
What do you do? Do you dive underwater?
