I am new to DnD trying to learn, I work 7 on 7 off graveyards, and when I am not working for pay I am working on the farm, so a traditional type of group or game is not going to work for me because I can't sit down for 4+ hours a week in one shot. Being able to post when I can is more what I am going to be able to do when I am working my graves I can get a call drop and have to be out the door ASAP. I have posted and applied to several games but no one seems to want to help a newbie out. Anybody want to help the new guy? Trying to learn so that when my kids are old enough I can teach them and they will have an avenue of imagination play vs screen time.
I don’t know if I can help you as such, but I’m also really new and work similar shift patterns as you. If we can find a few more players and a DM, we can learn together?
