Eglar says "Ok Squire Andnon lets go." he follows Flutter waiting on Andnon to realize what he called him as he hands Andnon his chest of goods "Your first duty is to carry this."
"... Yes Sir." Andnon replied as he let what Eglar had called him sink in. When handed the chest of goods he nodded slightly. "It shall be done."
He quickly began to follow after Eglar, Flutter, Karrigg and Ludolf although he paused slightly as he thought about the possibility of running into undead in the city. 'Hopefully none have actually made it out of the underground.' He thought as he followed after them, trying not to fall too far behind them just in case they did end up running into something of an undead nature before they reached their destination.
Believing that the Tiethling would feel more welcome in his presence he slows down and grasps Andnon's shoulder "Walk next to me Squire Andnon. If we're attacked I want to know that, you're safe."
Andnon glanced down at the ground for a moment. "I'm sorry about falling behind." He said in an apologetic manner as he sped up slightly. "If we were to get attacked..." He trailed off and nodded after a couple of seconds.
As the group continues onward towards the entryway to the underground, there is a somewhat unusual silence that seems to have taken over the city since they initially had entered Sir Stoneclaw's mansion. Although when they get closer to the city square they can hear voices coming from one of the nearby alleyways.
As they approach the city square, Flutter listens to the voices coming from the alley to try and determine what they are saying as the group approaches.

{With a 14 Ludolf can determine that there are at least three separate voices. They started off by speaking common but when they heard the group coming closer they quickly changed to Elvish. They don't seem to be a threat but two out of the three appear to be worried. He hears, "If they manage to survive then I'll owe them both a drink and two silver each." and "Seriously, you're more worried about your coin than your own nephew? That's messed up."}
{I don't have my notes on me but here's what I recall from my notes on the history of Cloudgate.
When Cloudgate was first built it was more like a large town than it was a city. Although it was built nearby one of Cleica's trade routes half of the folks living there lived in fear of the dragon that called the area it's home. After fourteen years of living in fear a small group of citizens left Cloudgate to either make peace with the dragon or slay it if it turned out to be hostile. While the group was out searching for the dragon a large group of bandits attacked the city. When they found the dragon and it's lair they realized that two members of the group (Wayland Stoneclaw and Loralana Aldershard, two of the founders of Cloudgate) made a deal with the dragon to protect the city, unaware of the fact that the city had been attacked. After making this deal with the dragon the group returned home to find that Cloudgate had been basically burnt to the ground. The survivors of the attack explained what had happened to the group, after hearing what had happened they decided to rebuild the city and this time they wouldn't leave it unprotected. Keeping in mind that the bandits could still be nearby Stoneclaw and Aldershard hired mercenaries from Houndwood and Cliffgrave to keep watch while the city was being rebuilt. When the bandits did come back halfway through the reconstruction they didn't stand much of a chance against them. With the bandits taken care of they felt as though things would go smoothly but as the reconstruction was just about finished Loralana fell ill and passed before seeing the city in it's newly built glory. Some of the mercenaries chose to stay in Cloudgate while the rest returned to the cities they had called home.
As time went on the city began to grow and the nobles that governed it decided to pay the dragon a visit again. This time they brought the dragon a gift to prove that they harbored no I'll intentions towards it and once they handed it over they asked the dragon for permission to dig a tunnel from the city to it's lair that could be used not only to give the dragon offerings but also as an escape tunnel if something bad was to happen in the city again. Although the dragon was hesitant at first but he agreed to the tunnel after realizing that it could possibly save lives even though he wasn't exactly a big fan of strangers entering his domain. The tunnel didn't see much use but it knowing that the tunnel was there if it was needed gave the nobles of the city and the citizens some much needed relief.
(When I get back home I'll look over my notes and add anything that I missed.) }
Ludolf whispers to the others and translates the elvish. “I think we should see what they are talking about. This could be the pathway that Xavword took. Shall we make ourselves known?” Ludolf prepares himself by casting mage armor on himself and prepares the helm on his head, trying to read the thoughts of the trio when they come in range.
As the party moves closer to the trio there is a momentary silence before one of them turned to leave. "It's not like they did this for fun, they must have been worried about their friend that went missing. They heard a rumor that he'd gone into the underground looking for his partner and apparently they thought that it would be a good idea to go after him, even though I'm sure that the guards are also looking into it ." The half-elf stated with a soft sigh as she began to walk away. The remaining duo looked honestly surprised by what she had said but after a few seconds the other worried half-elf shook his head slightly.
Her thoughts: 'As long as they don't realize that I was lying and that they actually just followed a small group of guards that had gone into the underground by request of Sir Stoneclaw... then I should be alright. Although I have to wonder, why would he send guards into the underground if everything is alright?'
"Vanelis... I know you actually care about Yorzaren but you have a horrible way of showing it. Hopefully the guards will find him still alive but there is a high probability that they won't." He said in a saddened tone, before leaving him he placed a silver in his hand and mumbled something underneath his breath. As he passed by the party he gave a small nod and whispered, "Evening." And continued on his way.
His thoughts: '... Aren't those the group that Sir Stoneclaw invited to his estate? Perhaps their headed to the inn for the night? I mean that's probably why they'd be heading this way, unless... no that is probably it.'
The remaining elf let out a soft sigh and pulled a bottle from his jacket, glancing after his two 'friends' with a small frown. He took a sip from the bottle and leaned up against the wall of the building behind him, not having noticed the party just yet. He mumbled a few curses underneath his breath and took another sip from the bottle. "Those two are going to be the death of me, I swear."
Eglar steps into the Half elfs way. The imposing giant, bows slightly, huge hands rest on his maul of which the head rests on the ground."My lady may I know your name? And I'll ask all of you not to leave." said in a deep voice as always.
The Half elf stops in her tracks as he stepped in front of her. She glanced at the mail for a moment before shifting it back up to him and she faked a small smile. "Oh... sure, my name is Zelyra." As she introduced herself she glanced back at where the others had been for a moment. "We're not in any trouble, are we? I know this little meet up probably looked rather suspicious but I promise that we were only having a little chat to catch up with one another."
Deception: 20
The other half elf turned on his heels when he heard the deep voice speaking and hesitantly slunk back to where the others were, not wanting to cause the other two any trouble.
Ludolf steps from behind Eglar and turns his helm and eye toward Zelyra, saying “This seems to be an odd place to meet up for a little chat, yes? What are you doing meeting up here, instead of another place? What are you seeking? Please tell me, and don’t hold _anything_ back, because I’ll know…” and he winks at her, then begins scanning her mind.
