"I want to keep going this way." says Nikolai. "I think that, since there are so many traps here, we must be drawing near to what we came looking for."

Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
"Perhaps." Rumbles Tamba. "Raui, stay behind me, and keep alert. Pull the lever, Nikolai, and pray to whatever god you believe in that it is the correct one."
The lever goes up with ease. You see one set of iron bars go up and the floor remains still...
Side notes
As I am going on vacation, something that would be really cool... Send me a more detailed backstory. You can send it to my PMs. Now that you have a better idea of the area and lifestyle maybe it will help you in your writing. If you need names of Hamlets just let me know, as I said there are about two dozen small settlements in Yew. Also, as this dungeon has proved extremely dangerous, draft a backup character and keep a close eye on your HP, I trust you guys to keep track of it, as I don't really watch it. This has been a blast so far!
Nikolai pulls the lever on the left, furthest from the door.

Hey guys, as long as we stand as close to the door as possible when we pull the levers we should be fine.
I'll stand over by the levers and wait for everyone to do the same.
Raui walks over.
"I hope you're right!"
And that's all I have to say about that.
"No!" Tamba yells. "Hold for a single moment! Do you all have a suicidal wish to fall into a spiked pit? Let us search for another exit."
Perception: 8

Unless we're REALLY bad at guessing we should be fine.
Tamba
You do not see another exit, but you recall the many other doors and wonder where they might lead

"Perhaps we should vot on this. I am for retracing our steps and taking another passage."

(I'm waiting for our other player to check in)
I'd like to have Taliesin pull the lever closest to the door on the left once everyone is by me.
(Raui, feeling embarrassed by his "failure," will follow the others' lead.)
And that's all I have to say about that.
"I doubt that Raui could survive another fall like the one he just took," Tamba reminds the party.

You can roll investigation or perception as well :)
Also, I am leaving for vacation tomorrow morning, will be back on regular posting Monday! Enjoy the weekend!

I'm waiting for dungeonlord58 to have his character come by me so I can pull the lever XD

Hey everyone,
Beck from vacation! Just thought I'd let you know.
||PbP: Tarvyn's World... DM||
That worked, let's see if I can make it work again!
I'll pull the lever on the right, closest to the door.
Nikolai pulls the lever on the left, furthest from the door.

From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
Raui steps back, preparing to dodge anything that comes at him.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Oh geez, are we pulling these at the same time?
