Etrigan laughs evilly as Lord Belovaar is slowly pulled back into his sarcophagus. "Not for a while I think."He mutters, then descending to Rohesia and Athyra, becoming visible again.
He gives a look of slight surprise as he hears the voice in his head. "Lord Belovaar is resting among his works of wickedness once more." He says, not sure if he can respond to Lonsita Sancham. "We have however not the faintest idea what caused the earthquake yet though. Not even sure where to look anymore as I think we have explored all of the spire now."
You all feel a magical tug as your bodies are suddenly pulled from the depths of the Spire to the top, where Lonsita is waiting with her airship. It is a rather magnificent view from the top of the Spire as she plops down a bag of gold. "Well earthquakes aren't exactly uncommon around here, so let's hope that's all it was." She sighed deeply. "I'll be taking our armaments back then, you have your reward. I do appreciate you taking the time to investigate this for us though and returning Belovaar to his crypt. I will need to consult with the other members of our Order to see what can be done to make sure this doesn't happen again. I will put your names in our records though, and should you ever cross paths with us again we would be glad to offer our assistance in return if it is possible. Come back aboard and I will take you back down to town and let you be on your way."
She offers a brief but genuine smile and hops back up into the airship before casting off and taking anyone who wanted a ride back down before bidding you all farewell and sailing back off by herself...
(Feel free to add an RP to finish your character out if you like but this is the end of this story! Thank you for sticking with it, I hope you liked it some!)
“Ha! We did it!” Athyra exclaims. After listening to Lonsita, she takes of the bracers and hands them to her. “If earthquakes aren’t that uncommon, then you definitely need to figure out a way to keep those pillars in place.”
Athyra will ride down if the others do the same thing.
Once they are back on the ground, she walks over to Etrigan and playfully punches him on the shoulder. “Nice work back there! That battle probably would have taken a lot longer if you hadn’t figured out the seal! Looks like you can get back to your vacation, and I can finally climb that tower! …after I take a bit of a break.” She looks at Rohesia, “You did great as well! That exploding thing that you sent at those skeletons was awesome!”
(Thanks for Dming this! I had a lot of fun with it!)
Etrigan growls as he is pulled up through the spire, preferring to do his own flying. As he reaches the top he returns the periapt and readily accepts the bag of gold, thinking it may afford him a long vacation with lots of fondue. Although perfectly capable of making his own way down he also accepts a ride with the airship."Until next time then Lord Belovaar."The demon chuckles, looking down on the ominous black spire as the airship takes off.
"Yes, we were quite a team."Etrigan says to Athyra and Rohesia with a nod. "I'll remember to seek you out next time an old evil wizard is trying to break out of his tomb after an eartquake. Now, assuming there is still a place to stay here I'll be delighted to see you both climb that spire." He continues before taking to the air, carried by his bat-like wings, looking for a still standing first class resort hotel. "Au revoir madimoselles." He calls out before disappearing over the rooftops.
Rohesia is a bit surprised as she is suddenly pulled up, but relieved to see the airship again. She will accept Lonsita's offer a ride back down, then returns the goggles. She laughs at Athyra's mention of 'exploding things'. "Flumph spirits," she says by way of explanation. "I never know what exactly will happy when I enter the fighting trance," she adds with a grin.
"Quite a team," she replies, agreeing with Etrigan. She turns, watching the demon-man fly off into the distance. "Well, guess it's time to find out how the town faired from the earthquake Perhaps I will see you for the spire climb, if they are still doing it." She sets out, ready to see how the town has fared.
