Arya and Gijigume stand at the top of the steps, in front of them is a waste high pillar on top of which is a potion bottle. A glyph is etched into the side of the pillar just below the bottle. Arya reaches for the potion but she is stopped by an invisible wall. She waves the others up "We've done all the work so far; ‘trust your souls to the gods’ sounds like we need a cleric but as we don't have one (who goes adventuring without a cleric... you people are nuts) Fah'lin is the closest thing we have." **cough**
"Well it seems you have been busy with us," says Thar. And does he recognise the creature from any of his studies? History 27
It’s a couatl. They are usually good celestials. It replies “I needed you to set me free and in the past creatures in this place have not been willing.” There is a rumble and the ground shakes as it has previously. “Do not worry about that” it explains “my cage is one of the seals that keeps a powerful vampire imprisoned. But there are three others so there is no chance that letting me go will have also released it. You will need to go back to the entrance and leave this place. I know that you are probably adveturers seeking treasure so I will recompense you for leaving this place unexplored.”
"Erm, how many times have we heard that already?" Gijigume asks the others, and then, to the couatl: "We'll it was nice meeting you: If you could point us the the exit, we'll just be on our way, once you've rewarded us. We've been trying to find the way out for a while now."

“You must be new at adventuring; did you not note that the door you came in hides itself when closed? Come, I have long tired of this place and wish to leave myself.” The couatl gives you three special items (a balance of harmony and the gems needed to operate it, a mirror of the past and a periapt of wound closure) and leads you to the secret door in the corridor running north of the illusion trap with the mould.
“Wait, if there really is a vampire locked away was your cage that held it back so easy to break”
"Was it easy? From where I was standing there was no way for me to get out. Go ask the wizards who trapped the vampire here about their locks, they certainly didn't consult with me."
"Will you be able to defeat it... If... It's released? Will we be able rest before we depart. We are pretty limited on resources. Or at least I am."
"Me defeat a vampire? NO! I would have to flee for my life. Why are you asking this? It's not just releasing me. You'd have to slay two very nasty high level monks who are thralls to the creature. And then {something, something} (I've forgotten what this one was and am too lazy to search for it). And finally there is a huge block of stone covered in warding symbols that would have to be moved. See, you have nothing to fear."
Arya moves behind Igneous and Fah'lin **whispers** "Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. You pair of wool-headed sheep-humpers. I care nothing for your guilt. We have to get out of here."
"You've been locked away a long time. I doubt we are the first to fall into this temple of destruction and not likely the only ones to have unwittingly compromised these seals. If the creature escapes, what will be done?"

“The creature would probably return to its lair at Bijela Planina. With proper planning and the right people it could be destroyed there.”

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Well unless you want to stall some more you escape this mad house as the couatl leads you to the secret door and the passage out. With you is a pretty good stash of treasure:
Arya looks it over and shrugs "Maybe Undead's Bane but I already have a magic sword. What I really need is a magic bow; those magic arrows saved our hide a couple of times and if we are going vampire chasing don't you need magic weapons to hurt them?"
DM: looking over Arya's character sheet for the level increase I was yet again reminded that she has a flaw 'It’s not stealing if I need it more than someone else.' So Sleight of Hand check 20 does anyone see her do this. If not that list will be edited latter today as something disappears.
Fun fact, magic ammunition stacks with magic weapon
According to 5e designer Jeremy Crawford, "Bonuses stack, unless a feature or item tells you otherwise." Therefore, firing a +1 arrow from a +1 shortbow results in a +2 to the attack and damage rolls.
I'm pretty sure the opposite was true in 4e and 3e.

Fah'lin tries to take the potion, and give it to Arya

You are also blocked by the invisible wall.
Fah'lin hits the wall with a Divine Smite expending my last spell slot to deal 10 radiant damage.

The invisible wall shatters and the voice speaks “Free at last!” A winged serpent appears
