Greko drops in with Lelith and looks over the carnage caused by the group's reckless behavior. Greko gets blasted with cold as a welcoming gift. Greko already moody by the situation, aggravatingly directs his staff towards several sconces lighting the room and pulls from it a Fire Elemental which moves in to attack the skeletal lord. As Greko distracts the Skeletal Lord with his Fire Elemental he begins to twinkle in the form of a chalice.
The first attack misses, and fire splashes on the bed, on the furniture...and begins to feed and grow. As it does, the second attack strikes the skeleton and it bursts into flames, but doesn't seem deterred.
In the hallway, the archer continues to back away from Amitola and swing its short sword, clanging it uselessly off her armor.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kaede grimaces at Lelith's boastful jest, and between pained grunts (she's bleeding quite profusely, heavily bloodied) she quietly responds back "Those who are skilled in combat do not become angered, those who are skilled at winning do not become afraid. Thus the wise win before they fight, while the ignorant fight to win."
Bonus Action: Samurai Fighting Spirit
Samurai Fighting Spirit - Starting at 3rd level, your intensity in battle can shield you and help you strike true. As a bonus action on your turn, you can give yourself advantage on weapon attack rolls until the end of the current turn. When you do so, you also gain 5 temporary hit points.
Without emotion, she turns back onto the armored skeleton and slashes at it twice-
Greko commands his fire elemental to go out and fight the undead in the hallway while he heals the group that just fought the skeletal lord. “Once you fools heal up get into the hallway and save your friend. Get down to the beach and help eveyone else against the undead army before they all die as well. Tell Lir and Schmendrick the fool to come here to us. We will take care of the fire. Now go there’s no time for questions.”
Backing the skeleton away, after her last swing and miss and the little pangs against her armor from the skeletons pathetic attempts of attack, she's annoyed. After a intense eye roll, she swings through once to stop the skeleton from swinging at her, aiming for the shoulder joint, but completely missing its shoulder. Huffing out of aggravation, using all her might to swing back through at its ribs. Once making contact she released an aggravated breathe she didn't even realize she was holding.
Finally, finally, the skeleton in the hallway collapses under Amitola's sword blow, falling to pieces and skittering across the floor in constituent parts. It's jaws are working as the skeleton comes to rest, and its icy blue eyes gaze up at her while the mandible works. It doesn't make a sound as it mouth's the words 'thank you'...
Schmendrick weeps softly behind her in the hall as he holds the body of the middle aged brunette.
"Oh Molly..." He cries, cradling her head. He's pushed her eyes closed with blood fingertips already. "Oh Molly what folly have I visited upon you and Amalthea...oh goddesses...but I tried...I tried so hard I did all I knew to do..."
His body racks with the power of the sob that escapes his lips, but there's little time for it. There are the sounds of death and dying outside. The smell of smoke on the air from the burning of the interior of the keep as Amalthea's room becomes far too gone to save. The stonework of the walls pops as it heats up.
"We need to go." Lir says. He locks a huge oaken door as best he can to block the top of the spiral staircase. "I hope someone here has a trick up their sleeve..."
His eyes are hurt, wounded...but still furious as he looks over Amitola, Johnathan, and Lady Kaede...
Greko steps forward and looks at Schmendrick who has seen better days. "Schmendrick old friend, I need you to get your bearings and take the dead unicorn back to Skyloft to Gandalf who is waiting for you. You can take my bat, it knows the way." He pauses and sees who Schmendrick was sobbing over "Molly Grue, another needless death in this keep. I am sorry for your loss Schmendrick. My bat can take the three of you but I will have to shrink Molly down. Tell Gandalf she is in your pocket." Greko touches Molly with his staff and shrinks her. He picks her up and gives her to Shcmendrick. He then whistles for the bat who flies through a window. "Go now Schmendrick, there is no time to waste. As for the rest of us....We have a mess to cleanup. You are all healed up," Greko waves his hands and heals the ones that were not in the room with his Aurora of Vitality spell. "and ready for round 2. All the other heroes of Auryn are gathered trying to accomplish the mission you were given....slay the bull...Follow me and Lelith now and help them with the bull and the undead army before it is too late. Down to the village you must go now!" Greko turns to Lir with a look of sorrow on your face. "Apologies King Lir for what transpired here today. I am Greko the White. Your village below is burning to the ground and an undead army marches. Let the people see the new king ride out and protect his people. Lelith and I will ride with you. I know this does not make up for what occurred here today but there is not much time to waste. Once this is settled perhaps we can go to Skyloft and discuss how to fix this with Atreu and Gandalf. Shall we go save your village?"
Johnathan still looks furious at the skeleton with plate armour. He knew that this could’ve been avoided. That’s when he notices Lelith is in the room. He looks at her for a seconded before speaking. So, looks like you were let off the hook by the others. I hope they didn’t make a mistake. Johnathan wanted to scream at her, he wanted to blame everything that happened on the traitor. But a part of him knew this wasn’t their fault. Once Johnathan recognises the bat and the name he turns to Greko. Greko? You are supposed to be dead. He looks for a moment before remembering that they were still not out of danger. It seems no one can stay dead these days. As long as you continue to help then so be it.
You are right Greko, the others went to fight the bull and we need to join them. Johnathan walks past the dead unicorn. I failed, again. Darkness has won. I couldn’t save the unicorn but I’ll be damned if I let the red bull be consumed as well. He walks over to the window. I’ll go ahead to let the others know backup is coming. Don’t take too long. He jumps from the window and begins to fly towards the village by holding the edges of his cape.
Lady Kaede wipes her daishō clean and rescabbers both blades. Addressing Johnathan before he leaps out the window, she quietly states "A warrior should always be prepared for death – whether his own ... or someone else’s."
Feeling her wounds magically heal makes her feel refreshed and confident that she's doing the right thing. However, one last thing is nagging her.
"Masters Greko and Lelith...thank you for the assist. However, I musk ask one further favor. I, unlike my compatriots, cannot fly. Do you have....alternative methods....of getting us down to the battlefield quicker?"
"There is the bat but Schmendrick is leaving on that with the dead unicorn and Molly...sad that these deaths occurred....."Greko tsks and turns to King Lir "Which is the fastest way to the village?"
"I can carry you down there if you'd allow me," Lelith conceded an option to Kaede. "Another person as well if they are as small as you but I doubt we'd have the luxury of that. I may have to make a return trip. By the way, Princess of King's Landing. You have done your noble name proud in still being alive and fighting, I am proud of you as a former founding member of the Twilight Embers. I am sure Greko is, as well. These are not light words coming from my lips so cherish them well."
"The fastest way to the village is down through the castle...but we can't go through there." Lir says, turning pale as he is healed. His eyes turn to the door he stands stalwartly against to keep the skeletons from reaching the top of the tower. "There's...there's something terrible down there and the halls are full of the undead. We'd be torn to ribbons. We need another way and we need it fast."
Greko pauses a moment "Fine my bat will drop you off. I will wait here with Schmendrick. Kaede go with Lelith. Lir you may take my bat with whomever is left over. Send him back when you are done....What was the something terrible they released upon you all?"
Lir looks around nervously, and then nods at Amitola when Greko suggests he take the bat; they'll have to ride the bat together...and they look like the two heaviest combatants.
"My father...well..." Lir is hesitant to answer the question, and looks visibly shaken as he wrestles with the words. "He's...he got back up. But he's not my father anymore. He's something a lot worse."
Lady Kaede simply shakes her head silently at Lir's comments, for she knew the truth of Lir's father. He never was a father. He cared more about his own power growth than being a father to his own son, or a leader of his own people. If only her father, bless his departed soul, heard about this pitiless wretch who 'ruled' over this area, he would have corrected this wrong long ago. No matter...she and her new friends rid this land of one more tyrant. Good riddance.
No stranger to being carried around, as royalty, but usually it was in a palanquin, Kaede nods with approval at Lelith's compliment and offer. She eyes her with a fair bit of suspicion, having not known her for very long and knowing of the treachery she was involved with the devilish beast she was apparently in league with, but balancing that with the need to get down to the battlefield below and offer her services and expertise in ridding this world of one more evil beast.
She'll silently walk over to Lelith and allow herself to be carried.
Greko listens to Lir and shakes his head at the impulsive behavior of this group who was sent to slay the bull but instead released untold evil. "Thus begins the Dawn of the Dead..Lelith be quick with Kaede and Lir go too and take charge of your kingdom....Send the bat back" Greko looks down the hall towards the noises of the undead army descending toward the village.
The bat takes Lir and Amitola both out the window and sails behind Johnathan as the group approaches the village below, where it appears that half of the town is on fire while an undead horde bears down on the fleeing populace.
When the bat returns, Schmendrick drapes Amalthea's body over the bat, and then slides in behind her.
"To Gandalf, then..." He says, meek and tired, his blue robes stained with blood.
The keep continues to burn around them from the damage the fire elemental did to the room when it attacked the skeleton. The bed is burning. Some of the wooden furniture is burning. The woodwork of the walls and rafters are starting to go up. Smoke is already drifting out the window and things are getting hot.
Lelith did notice the girl's suspicion and decided to gracefully allow it. Trust could not and should not be earned so easily, she approved of the young girl's caution. It was a healthy habit to develop. Lelith carried the princess in a... princess carry down to the village below. "I hope you are not afraid of heights. If you flail or tense up too much, I may accidentally drop you. Your death would be... quite a shame."
She was supposed to keep them alive, after all, and Greko would be consterned to have another Twilight Ember die under her watch. After gently letting the princess down into the ground to stand on her two feet, Lelith quickly took out her bow and aimed at the most obvious threat within her sight.
Fire Elemental attack 1: Attack: 12 Damage: 8
Fire Elemental attack 2: Attack: 22 Damage: 8
If either hits the skeleton it catches on fire.

Greko has his star map out and quickly looks to the skies and his map. He predicts Lady Kaede’s attack will hit (+4 to roll).
Lady Kaede's sword strikes were enough; the skeleton is split once, twice, and crumples into a heap of bones and busted plate armor.
