Willowleaf, I just realized I might not should have taken Healing Word. Should I change it out for something that doesn't involve healing? Or is that spell acceptable?
Lorival - Do wizards have a thing where they can recover at least some of their spell slots with a short rest? Arcane Recovery or something? I can't remember what all you cast during that first day, but does that help a little? Meanwhile, Breenie will be Lorival's shadow in hopes that waking her friend too early won't get her killed. ;)

Good catch. Lorival should at least recover one of her first level slots.
Arcane Recovery
You have learned to regain some of your magical energy by studying your Spellbook. Once per day when you finish a Short Rest, you can choose expended Spell Slots to recover. The Spell Slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your wizard level (rounded up), and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher.
For example, if you’re a 4th-level wizard, you can recover up to two levels worth of Spell Slots. You can recover either a 2nd-level spell slot or two 1st-level Spell Slots.

Indeed but I cannot change my prepared spells list :) That's what I was alluding too ;)
Like I said not a huge deal, just a bit of RP flavour!
