Norr pats down the trussed assassin. Perhaps there is some universal key, the lock box something given to all the groups of assassins, containing some common item that binds them all together, but the ropes are tight and he cannot easily wriggle his way into the pockets or even pat him down, without loosening the ropes.
(Investigation 8)
You find his crossbow and his bolts, as well as a slip of paper which it would appear he wetted with his tongue to make the text impossible to read.
If he has a light crossbow and bolts... “I think it would be good for us all, if I claimed this.” Dolmek will quickly retrieve his hammer and any bolts he sees outside as well.
Sure. You find 3 bolts after one minute of searching. The others are broken.
Brix grins widely at Casrians offer of a distillery. "I shall do my best to help you." he rreplies. . To Leo he shrugs and hold out his hands, palms up. "Sorry friend I can only create a small amount each day and unfortunatelt for him I gave the last for today to our friend here."
Holding up the glowing acorn between his stumpy fingers, Brix simply says "This is just a bit of glamor that I picked up a few years ago. However , I do suggest we get everyone inside and shut the door before a patrol comes by and makes us explain ourselves." He then helps drag any supplies and or people into the hallway.

"Aye, looks shiny, and I moved a brick to open this path up, I don't think that we can just close it," he looks to the rest of the party "Can we?" He then turns to the entrance, walks to it, and examines it. (What should I roll for this?)
As Dolmek returns from his search Brix looks up from his own endeavors and suggests, "If I recall correctly dwarves have quite the affinity for stonework. Perhaps you would be willing to lead us into the unknown here Sir Dolmek. Your affinity may allow you to recognize traps and such before the rest of us. We needed an entrance and seems we found one. Let's not waste our time by not exploring this opportunity. We can drag that one along if need be or we could leave him here and return later." Brix touches the thug with the tip of his boot for emphasis.

”I’d love to take the lead my friend. If I somehow find a trap or lock however, I’ll leave to your clever hands to pick or disarm as I have no such skill.”
Dolmek makes his way down the stairs watching for anything unusual.
Casrian will sit with Norr and regather his strength.
Hit Dice: 1+4 -> ((I was almost upset at rolling a '1', but Cas is back up to full, if a short rest is allowed))
Casrian's pale expression appears to regain it's vitality. He touches the hardening Firejelly atop his wound, peels it off gingerly, and looks amazed. He shows it to Norr.
"Our dear Brix certainly knows a thing or two about potent concoctions. Look! Not even a scar... It's uncanny."
He nods towards the prisoner. "That was good work with that one. What do you think we should do with him? Question, obviously, but do you reckon we take him with us or march him back to the gate?"

"Impressive needlework by the jelly," says Norr. On saying that his eyebrows climb and his eyes widen.
He attends to the captured assassin, laying him on one side and patting him down again, this time for injuries. (Medicine --> 18). He makes sure that he can breath easily and uses Prestidigitation to rouse and stabilize the man with the smell of potent smelling salts, knowing that prolonged unconsciousness can be bad for you but not sure quite how long exactly, considering that most people manage it for many hours a night.
Before he speaks, he winks at Casrian.
(Persuasion --> 12)
"Here, here," and Norr offers him some water, doing what he can to pry the mask gently off his face. "You got quite dinged up back there, does anywhere hurt, can we do anything for you? I fear there's been a case of mistaken identity. You do not appear to be bandits, and I cannot imagine that whatever organisation yourself and your fellows work for can have meant to earnestly target my bardic master and mentor, Sir Cairngorn, or our Tabaxi security detail: Mr. Paws. Normally, we're more used to encountering adulation than retribution. Surely this was an accident."
(If it's been an hours rest, then Norr would also cast Charm Person before attempting this check, and I'll roll a second Persuasion for advantage if he fails his Wis Save)

Dolmek is a dwarf, with darkvision. Brix is a gnome, with darkvision. Casrian is a human, without darkvision. Leo is a Tabaxi, without(I think) darkvision. Norr is a half-elf, with darkvision.
Dolmek, you find what you think may have been a 3 way intersection, but one of the passageways, leading in what would probably be towards the center of New Basin, has collapsed.
Casrian will sit with Norr and regather his strength.

Okay, you have expended your one and only (but not for long) hit die!
Medicine - The man is safe, and shouldn't die if nobody interferes with him.
Prestidigitation - The man wakes up. He gasps, and quickly reaches for his crossbow, only to find it's not there. He looks up, and only now does he seem to recognize the predicament he's in.
I'll let the party decide whether or not to short rest before answering the rest.

Dolmek returns bummed about the collapsed tunnel, “Well let’s catch a breather...” short rest.

Sorry for the late responses.
Leo will pull the lever.
Tabaxi do have darkvision
Leo'll be fine with a short rest.
((Sucks to be Casrian in a dark labyrinth then. We should probably take him by the hand for the onward travel, preserve the element of surprise))
Okay, I'll respond to all of this tomorrow.
