As you all kneel before the high priest, he raises his hands above his head, and the whole room bursts into a blinding light.
As the light dissipate, the priest laughs out: "Ha Ha Ha... that went surprisingly well. Looks like the gods think highly of you lot... Well off you go now, I need to get back to studying the scriptures of this possible new god that calls himself Cthulhu. Not sure if it's really a god though. I think it came from another dimension, so I'll be sending it on it's way soon enough. Ta ta."
You could barely make out what the man said as your body was still ringing from the vibrating light, but you hear enough to get the point across.
Once the vibrating leaves your bodies, you feel... quite normal actually. Nothing really feels different to any of you at first, but if you take a DC15 Insight check (meets it beats it) then you may ascertain the general idea of what you have gained.
Theron turs to the paladin, Valvyr, with the unswerving dedication of a soldier. His eyes weare sharp and focused, betraying no hint of hesitation or uncertainty.
"What are your orders, Valvyr?" he asked, his tone crisp and steady.

OOC: Did you go back to retype something? sometimes that happens. Either way:
Your fists feel more muscular and harder than they did before.
OOC: I thought all I did was refresh the page to check for replies. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
Merad stands up and looks towards the High Priest. He clenches and opens his fists a couple times and feels something different in them... What exactly, he can only guess that he'll find out later. Merad brings one hand to his chest and gives a slight bow to the Priest. "Thank you for your blessing your Holiness." He says, then turns to Valvyr, awaiting orders from him or the rest of the party. He eyes each of his team members and tries to guess what sorts of blessings they've received too.

(OOC - sorry, but that's an unnecessary comment, don't get stuck on semantics we all know what did the DM mean by that...also you forgot to label it "OOC")

Insight Check (1d20+4): 14
OOC: I'm not sure why the color and roll changed, but the original result was 17. Any ideas what went wrong?
[OOC: DnDBeyond has issues with dice rolls sometimes, it can be finicky.]

Well that seemed over dramatic, as he rubs his eyes, and curse the bright light my eyes can't take that bright of a light!
Turning to Valvyr, "So where/when do we start and is there a storehouse we can dig through to see if there is any other equipment we might need?"
