The Tiefling sees his Dire Wolf on death’s door and tries to assist. First he tries to get a shot at Jacob from where he’s standing, but he can’t get a clear view. So instead he runs towards his mount and stops to attack Stone en route with his mace.
Tiefling Multiattack vs Stone: Attack: 17Damage: 4
Penelope turns toward the bandit attacking her, looking him dead in the eyes. "Did you know.." She starts, as the chill builds up in the back of her throat, a mist beginning to seep out of her mouth.
"Did you know it is a very bad idea to stand next to a Dragonborn?" She inhales deeply and releases her ice breath on the bandit.

Jacob Growls under his breath as blood continues to soak his clothes. He stares at Stone being flanked and wants to jump in, but knows he's only got one or two more hits in him before he goes to meet his Patron. Instead, he quaffs his healing potion (10) while beginning to fume, and waits for the healing to take effect...
(If kosher, he'll hold his motion as a reaction - moving away if approached by an enemy, to draw off one of the attackers, but trying to keep just out of their melee range. Also, for the reference, that potion puts him at 14hp)
Stone blocks the attack from the Bandit and turns to the Thug leader. "How dare you try to trespass on our chattel. With the power vested in me by the authority of natural law, I smite thee." With his words Stone brings his long sword down on the Thug. If he hits the Thug Stone will use his last remaining magical powers to smite him.
The Tiefling is so distracted by Stone that you sneak up on him and thrust your shortsword through his back. He looks down at the blade protruding from his chest and falls over, dead.
The magical glowing darts slam into the two remaining bandits. The one next to Penelope is knocked off his feet and does not get up. The other looks at his fallen comrades, drops his scimitar and attempts to run.
Does anyone want to try and stop him? (Stone, you can get an attack of opportunity if you want)

As the final bandit tries to flee, Stone slices him across his back and the bandit falls. The threat has been neutralized.
After catching your breath and making sure there are no more thieves about, you search the fallen bandits. Between the Tiefling and the Bandits you find 15gp and a potion of healing.
You all manage to go the rest of the night without any disturbances. (Everyone is back to full hp and spell slots.)
The rest of the trip is uneventful. In the early afternoon of the eighth day, you are met with the following sight, the entrance to the stone carved Hall of Everforge.
What do you want to do?

After the melee:
"I don't want to sound greedy, but does anyone object to me taking that potion? I seem to have trouble making it through the day undamaged lately..."
Then later, when we arrive at the entrance:
Jacob wanders up to the entrance, slowly and looking around for any indications of... anything really... traps? previous incursions? recent footprints? etc...

Perception: 19
(OOC: Not sure which you'd prefer, so both! Nat 20 on that investigation... I suppose next time though I'll just roll 1d20, and list the modifiers, so it's not like rolling w adv/disadv)
