Through the rift in the planes, you see Hell, stretching for miles into the horizon. Red dusty soil blows through the desert, whistling away from you. Stepping into this new realm, you can make out a mass of tents and ramshackle buildings to what you assume is the North, bustling with noise and yells. They press up against high walls of jagged iron and obsidian towers that fill the sky, standing hundreds of feet tall. A pair of ivory gates can be seen even from here, looming over the Outlands and guarding the entrance to Hell.

Puzzle:
3 times, I have played level 20 characters. These experiences normally lead my sanity to divide as my other 4 players square up out of annoyance. In addition, 172 people polled by Eris, resident eldritch evil, say their sanity was a fifth of what is was after tracking max level combat with Solanar and Atemos. A while ago, I was rooted in fear after my character was stabbed. But the time was around 8.91 seconds before the end, and I rounded the fight out with a bang.
Fred turns up face you all. "I'm going to close the portal after you. These portals are strictly forbidden and keeping one open for longer than absolutely necessary is foolhardy. It should heal on its own in a couple of weeks, but I'm going to close it now, before anything else can come through. From what I know, Lucifer, the King of Hell, can be found in his palace beyond those gates.
Because the portal is going to be closed, I'm giving you this stone, which you can use to open a portal back to the Tavern when you are done. It may take a while to use since you are not used to it, but it's reliable." He hands then a strange grey stone, very light and with a razor sharp edge. "Unfortunately, it'll only retain its edge for a single use."

Aris takes the stone, if no one else will. "Thank you. I don't have any myself, for now." They turn to the rest to see if they do.

Caiman is just silent, hanging near the back of the group. He’s mounted his dog and his hand rests at the hilt of his glaive. He seems to be missing one- he traded it out for a nasty looking spiked shield with the face of a roaring dragon on the front.

Very beardy druid. With a cap.
Alloy is twitching heavily, eyes glancing at Hector and Zaza as if to say "I'm sorry", while also looking at Aovin and Aris for guidance.
