Description: You and some others have been hired the crime boss, Eck Lectric, to rob GoldPool Casino's GP vault. The casino's state-of-the-art security measures may seem tough, but you and your teammates can manage it, right?
Looking for people who would like a high-tension heist. I'm new to DnD, so I wouldn't mind some tips along the way. (Just put them in parenthesis, please!) I will also be using character sheets for dice rolling.

Backstory (Including how you were chosen for the heist. E.G., did you sign up willingly, or were you forced in?):
I wish good luck with your adventure. A couple of suggestions:
Are you planning this to be Play-by-Post where players text in their actions and speaking parts all during the day? It moves a little slower than the typical real-time games but is not dependent on when folks are available
how do you want players to generate ability scores? You can offer point-buy, array, or rolled. With rolled you can say keep the ‘1’s, Reroll them once or Reroll then every time.
if you have a specific level or range of levels you might want to let them know up front.
Backstory: Sigurd Stahle is Sea Elf (Ranger) who was caught at a young age in a coastal raid and sold off by slavers. Train as to work as support from the shadows, he has been the lookout for many heists and has finally freed himself after decades of indentured servitude. His ability to move about in different environments and the ability to temporarily pick up nearly any skill for a short time makes him quite useful to any group.
Sigurd know a gal: Melinda Lakeview is "fixer". Her connections to various underground groups keeps her expensive tastes satisfied. She is one of the few people who is willing to use such a dour sea elf like Sigurd, especially with his ability to do "wet work". Yes, Melinda has an odd penchance for puns, but she understands that Mr. Stahle will take hits ONLY on "villians", not the poor people who have angered the rich and powerful.

I would like to know the details to the character building as well.

Also interested, but waiting to hear more about character creation.
I will be interested in joining, once I know a little more 🥰

I'd be interested in joining, if you have room for a fighter. I also have a couple questions about character creation:
1. Are there any race/class restrictions?
2. Are we allowed to use feats?
3. What level will we be starting at?
(Also, I have a couple years of DM experience under my belt, so if you have questions about DMing, I'm your man!)
This is how rolling stats keeping 1's looks like (4d6, dropping lowest, no rerolling ones)
Ability scores: 11 8 13 16 17 8
Ability scores: 15 9 16 14 7 13
Ability scores: 15 8 15 6 11 15
Ability scores: 12 7 15 17 14 14
Ability scores: 15 15 11 13 11 13
