We have all heard of the stories of a DM monologuing as the BBEG as the rogue player tells the DM mid monologue "I'd like to stab him!" And to some people they may find this hilarious and get a kick out of it. But I can tell you that a lot of DMs would get frustrated at the interruptionhttps://routerlogin.uno/.
As many players like to RP their characters in game actions, some DMs like to do that as well with their NPCs. Many DMs may even write a speech before the session to really try and wow the players in the moment. An epic build up to a fight with a dramatic monologue or dialogue with the players cut short by interruptions... DMs deserve to have fun too. So please, let your DM finish their monologue, or at the very least if you are going to attack, have a cool line to say before attackinghttps://192168ll.link/.
For me, if I wanted to monologue as a DM and a player wanted to interrupt, I’d ask them to let me Finnish the monologue for fun, and then let me know the moment they attack AFTER I’m done monologing.

Thank you everyone!
Yes, it's true that some DMs may get frustrated when a player interrupts their monologue with an action that derails the intended narrative. This is because DMs often put a lot of effort into crafting a story and creating a specific atmosphere, and having a player disrupt that can feel disrespectful or like a waste of their time and effort.
That being said, it's important to remember that tabletop RPGs are collaborative games where everyone at the table should have the opportunity to participate and have fun. If a player wants to take a specific action, such as stabbing the BBEG during a monologue, they should be allowed to do so as long as it makes sense within the context of the game and the rules allow for it.
As a DM, it's important to remain flexible and adaptable in response to unexpected player actions. Rather than becoming frustrated, try to use the player's action as an opportunity to create a new narrative branch that incorporates their choice. This can lead to exciting and unexpected gameplay experiences that both players and DMs can enjoy.
