The familiar miasma fills the air in this final large cave. The acrid stench stings your nostrils. At the far end of the chamber you find the source of the deep rhythmic drumming. A huge, writhing mass of what appears to be a brood of giant snakes slumber in the corner.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Fred will sign in the air ancient glyphs and around the beast appears eight (8) giant snakes which attack the beast. After that Fred closes his eyes and transforms into a Dire Wolf. He also moves up to beast reading to attack next turn.
(Fred casts Conjure Animals and then Wildshapes into a Direwolf)
"I had asked you to be responsible during the spiders, and so you did during the last cavern. Will you allow me to show you a moment of gratitude, Sir Progo?"
Tracing a line from her heart to her fingertip, a small whirl of leaves and flower petals form as Mara casts Magic Weapon on a weapon of Progo's choice.
Mara will use telekinetic to lay down the offered cloth on some crunchy ground while her butterfly familiar will use his blindsight to guide past any hazards.
In other words, Mara and her butterfly will pass up their stealth to give advantage to two members of the party for this final fight.
(I feel like I missed so much and I think Progo just lost his opportunity to assassinate the creature.
So just to clarify what's happened Did Fred have the conjured snakes attack in the first turn? Mara cast magic weapon on Progos raiper (only non magic weapon he has). Thalrons activated the sword and attacked. Are we in a surprise round or is it the Thessalhydra's turn?
Progo doesn't have the moment to assassinate with the raiper (his best option) but if he shot it, would he still get the assassinate feature with his low initiative?)

"Good idea Progo." He will check them.
D&D since 1984
Just scraps of junk. They seem to be offerings to something the troglodytes worship.
Progo will continue to press forward once he sees Fred conclude his investigation. Same fashion as before:
Stealth: 18
Perception: 13
((Progo's on a roll!))
((We did it everyone, we got to the end ;_;))

Welcome to the lair of the Thessalhydra
((OOC: So Progo and all can see it sleeping? How far are they from it? Is Thalron sword already activated? So many questions!))
“We need to get closer.” Thalron whispers.
(1st BA, Rage must attack or be attacked same round 35’ movement. 2nd BA, command Dancing Longsword must attack same round up to 30’ movement.)

At the first of spring
The first bloom
The pink petals
I will gaze on it with solitude
That is what I do on the first of spring
"I had asked you to be responsible during the spiders, and so you did during the last cavern. Will you allow me to show you a moment of gratitude, Sir Progo?"

It’s 80’ from the opening of the short hall you just came in.
Okay, let’s roll initiative
Thessalhydra: 14
If you are trying to take it by surprise roll Stealth.
Mara will use telekinetic to lay down the offered cloth on some crunchy ground while her butterfly familiar will use his blindsight to guide past any hazards.
In other words, Mara and her butterfly will pass up their stealth to give advantage to two members of the party for this final fight.
(Fred! Guns ablazin’! We’re not even within 60’ yet.)
I guess Thalron will gratefully accept the help for stealth.
Stealth check: 19
Movement 35’
Action: Dash another 35’ (Now 10’ away)
Bonus Action: direct the Dancing Sword to fly the extra 5’ and attack the Thesselhydra.
(Will have to RAGE next round, hope we get this as a surprise round!)
Attack: 17 Damage: 8
Initiative: 19
(Here we go!)
