Cederick: “Well met friend, but Grigor is not here. We have just witnessed a wondrous feat of his, and have come here in search of him as well. Tho’ not out of malice, but to aid as is prescribed by the great Helm himself. Will you not sis is in our quest?”
OOC: I might be a little lost on what is going on. Let me know if I still need to roll for initiative, or make another check of some kind.
Cinder was very excited when Joan introduced herself and said to call her a friend, after wandering for so long she didn't have but a few friends and they were vastly apart from each other. The offer to help her find her home didn't really matter to Cinder, she doubted she would ever return to that place. Still, the offer made her happy. As they approached the tower Cinder saw a group and heard the yelling, she was about to comment when she was being dragged toward them by her new friend. 'Oh no! She is going to start trouble!' Cinder put her heels down, but it did nothing to help as she was pulled closer.
As they approached one of their odd group came out and started reasoning with the thugs, she was worried for the apparent holy person but to her shock. It worked, the whole situation was over a few coins for taxes. Cinder giggled at such simple things and hugged Sylrea's arm, "Sweetie please don't drag me into fights, I am squishy compared to you. You are absolutely built to impress in battle."
Zaliey says, “ I already have all of my possessions but does anyone need to go get supplies before we head to the magic mouth?” Standing and looking at the amazing box in his hands. “I just love magic.”

Cinder grinned wider as Sylrea, and went into the entrance of the tower staring around hearing that the box was a neat magic item. She wanted to take it and play with it, but experience said it wouldn't end well. Cinder heard Zaliey and bet lower still holding hands with Sylrea, "I love magic too, but such a tiny box becoming a boat? I don't believe it, better test it out. Minnow!"
Cedrick:"Luckily I had not yet been shown to my room for the night, so I have my gear with me. As the holy text proclaims: 'Prepared you must always be for whatever circumstance presented.'"
He looks at his new companions one by one.
“Well met, my friends, allow me to introduce myself, I am Cedrick, a Cleric of Helm. I was in town to meet with me friend Grigor.”
With that said, he begins to look around for the entrance to downstairs.
OOC: I've only recently started playing 5e, and I love the Traits, Bonds, Flaws, etc. Makes for great RP opportunities. So forgive, Cedrick's constant quotes (or misquotes) of the sacred texts... it in his personality. ;-)
Also, he is a 5' 9" human of about 170 lbs. Red hair, pale skin, and green eyes. He is wearing chain mail, and is armed with a mace and shield. There is a small crossbow, light attached to his bulging backpack.
THIS IS NOT A TIME FOR NAVIGATOR'S TOOLS SIR! THERE IS A BALOR OUTSIDE THIS PLACE READY TO KILL US ALL
He ushers you into the basement and rushes back upstairs. Sounds of destruction can be heard above. The demon above taunts the brave janitor
Oh, you fight well for a worm. Foolish bravery only makes your corpse taste better...
the magic mouth speaks:
Go forth into the portal, and remember to avoid large, biting flies. Thank you for using the Kulenov planar portal service, and, considering this will be it's final use, goodbye and happy trails to you.
Also, your boat is in rowboat form and ready for use.
Sylrea let go a sigh of relief. She had already managed to upset someone she just called a friend. She then started to make her way towards the basement. As she was deep in thought, she heard a monstrous roar that shook the building. "What was.....?!" Before she can finish the voice spoke. As the voice finished Sylrea yelled " Hey Janitor! Who was that?!" But the Janitor didn't hear, as he just ran back upstairs. "Does anyone else know who that was?!
Hearing the roaring and feeling the shaking Cinder squeaked and took off toward the stairs only pausing to grab the rowboat, in her fear forgetting the words to control it! She pulled as hard as she could toward the stairs, "HURRY PEOPLE! IF IT GETS YOU, YOU WILL DIE! MOVE IT!" Tugging with all her might she fights with her tiny frame to get the boat moving. "Priest! I swear you better help me or start running because you aren't going to harm the lice of a Balor!"
