Name: Trex-with-ritual-scarring Race: Changeling Class/Subclass: Hexblade Warlock Background: Haunted One Backstory: Trex had always been a cursed child, born under a blood moon in the forest of Neverwinter, he was born during a blood ritual in honour of Asmodeus, this same ritual would offer the newly born Trex as a child who would one day become a warrior for the Supreme Master of the Nine Hells.
Trex was gifted with the magic and had a talent for Hexes, misfortune for others would follow him wherever he went, but he didn’t mind he was having fun with Scorn, his childhood friend and fellow Changeling, Hexing people almost became a game as he continued his studies and together the two would take on the world and make their small commune proud.
That was until one day Trex went too far, Their commune wanted another blood ritual, only this time to have the blood of a small village completely spilt. Which Trex did participate in however during this horrific event, he saw a boy his age crying over his dead mother’s body and then something shifted, it was perhaps Trex’s earliest memories but he remembered what happened when he started to grow into his magic, the blood ritual of Trex’s birth was sealed by his mother agreeing to be murdered as soon as her son started showing signs of power. He remembered crying his over his mother’s body, but this memory was strange, it felt foreign, hidden even, but the fog had cleared and he remembered.
That boy in the village made Trex realise that he didn’t want anyone to have to go through the pain he did of loosing a mother, watching in horror as his commune set about slaying the innocent, something broke as more and more memories started to flood back. The commune had hidden everything from him, turned him into a magical weapon and then before he could understand what was happening he went into a rage and started attacking his own people, killing them one by one and ultimately saving what was left of the village.
Scorn was angry about the show of power, he proclaimed that Trex had gone mad, but Trex remembered just one thing about Scorn. NONE of his memories contained the other, Scorn wasn’t in any of them, for all these years, Trex had been alone, doing these terrible things and was manipulated not only by the commune but by Scorn as well. He soon came to learn that Scorn was a demon who was possessing Trex and had been since his birth, a demon of Asmodeus who was sent to groom Trex into being an ideal warrior, with Asmodeus’s beliefs already installed.
After learning this Trex cast a hex on himself, that would banish the demon to the furthest parts of his mind, so he could finally have one thing he never had before, the closest he could get to Free Will. Disgusted, enraged, disappointed and overall scared of himself, Trex vowed that he would turn over a new leaf and instead of doing harm, he’d help and save people. He’d be the monster that fought other monsters.
So he became a travelling Hexblade, who used his magic for good for a price of course, he never stayed in one place in case any followers of Asmodeus learned of him and kept moving, until he met the party and ventured with them to Elin. Keeping his past a secret but turning over a new leaf, with the intent to save the town

Before Donnelly was born, or even conceived, his mother made a pact with a forest hag. Children and the love of her husband, but the first child would be the hag’s. His mother didn’t realize that the Hag in question was Baba Yaga. When he was born and weaned, the powerful witch collected him from his weeping parents’ arms. He was raised by his Baba, not quite a son, but more than a slave. He helped with her magic once old enough, doing unspeakable things without a care. But he came to realize that she was experimenting on him as well. She bound his soul to hers and now she sends him into the world to do her will.

Backstory:
Nave has no real memory of her family or where she came from. Her earliest recollections are living in the monastery, where harsh nuns with stern faces would beat her for the slightest transgressions. And when you're a Tiefling devil-child, there are always transgressions to be found.
She was maybe 9 or 10 when she ran away.
The town near the monastery was large, almost but not quite a city. There were plenty of places to hide, though in later years Nave wondered if anyone from the monastery had ever bothered to come looking. Nave made her own way; begging, stealing, and always hoping it would be enough to keep the hunger at bay. As she got older, she honed and refined her craft. Finding the best street performers and picking the pockets of their transfixed audiences. She even picked up some of their tricks while she was at it. Eventually, she got too well known to avoid the town guard and too old play the innocent urchin. Nave took to the road. Since then she's lived in the margins of society, making her way however she can and moving on when the opportunities dry up...

Backstory: Figwyn Ramsfoot comes from a small community of elves and dwarves who work in Upper Delvings, a shared mine, refinery, and fine metalworks. He never took to the "hammer work" of the mine, and chose instead to join the roving hunters who harvested the mountain forests for game. He also acts as a point of contact between Upper Delvings and Elin, occasionally performing the duties of a courier.
Figwyn was delivering goods to Elin when the perpetual fog descended. He has been cooped up in the town for far too long. When it is announced that a party is being assembled to seek answers, Figwyn is eager to join. He hopes the party will be able to lift the fog and restore the simple life he has always enjoyed.

Name: Sraak Race: Kobold Class/Subclass: Warlock Background: Inheritor Backstory: Sraak was a good kobold. They followed the leader of the pack without question. They didn't need to learn anything because master always told them what they needed to know. Master always told them what to do. As such Sraak was a good worker and did what they told and didn't ask questions. They did such a good job following orders that one day master chose them to help out with a big important ritual! It was a big day for the kobold. They had finally proven their worth and now master would reward them. The other kobolds were quite jealous but some were also happy for Sraak. He had finally become a useful kobold for the tribe and as all kobolds know, if you do good things for your tribe you can be reborn as a dragon when you die.
The ritual was pretty complicated. Sraak didn't bother learning anything about it he just knew doing what master told them would result in his tribe being better and stronger. The kobold following instructions as commanded. The master put himself in a big circle with lots of pretty colors and drawings on it. This was perfect for Sraak as they liked colorful things. They watched as magical swirls of energy began to go around the master and it looked like they were excited for what was about to happen. There was so much magic and power in the air that Sraak could feel their scales tingle with the ambient power.
However, the master then screamed in pain.
Sraak knew to rush to his aid but as the kobold ran to them in the circle to help them the master yelled "NO! GET BACK YOU FOOL!" it was too late though. Sraak stepped into the circle before the master could finish his warning. There was a snap of power as Sraak felt such pain like he has never felt before! Sraak felt like they would be torn in two but worst was that Master vanished! Sraak looked around for them in the circle but there was nothing to be found of them. Master was gone. This is despite hearing the master's voice saying that Sraak was an idiot. Sraak thought they were there as they kept hearing their voice. They didn't see master though. Master's voice grew angry and said weird things like they are trapped in Sraak but master was much bigger then Sraak. that couldn't be. Sraak much be hearing master scold them cause Sraak did bad thing and made master gone.
Sraak was kicked out of their tribe too. Making master disappear is a bad thing after all. Who will guide us now? Chieftain banished Sraak. Sraak sorry! Master's voice says not to kick me out but they need the things in the chamber. Other kobold not see master either. Or hear them so Sraak must be going mad. Poor Sraak. Going mad. guilt ridden Sraak made master go away and now they hear master sold them forever in their mind. At least Sraak has a book of master's. Maybe Sraak can find way to bring them back? Sraak no know. Need help. There is a town nearby I think. I should ask them for help. Maybe do good things for them so they do good things for me. Town of Elin. Wait... do big people hurt kobolds? Guess I need to be extra nice to get help! Abilities: 151814161212 Character Sheet: Sraak
Backstory: Malon hails from a tribe of lycanthropes. Though none of the currently alive generations have actual lycanthropy, the diluted curse still lingers in their blood, allowing them to shift without the bloodlust, but to weaker effects then a pure lycanthrope would get. They use their blessing to hunt, protect their home, and scout. However, the dilution causes the curse to eventually die out. Every five generations, the most promising shifters of each type, beast hide, swift stride, long tooth, and wild hunt are sent out to claim a vial of lycanthrope blood, and brink it back to the village to renew the curse, allowing the tribes way of life to thrive. Malon is one of the chosen members of the tribe to be sent out.

Clerics got their gods, paladins got their oaths. Me? I got celestial bureaucracy breathing down my neck.
"Don't be like that, Torri. I've got your back!"
"Lulu, we've been over this: don't call me Torri."
They even assigned me a partner, can you believe it?

I think something went wrong when you tried to roll stats. It's saying that you just rolled 4d6, without dropping the lowest or rerolling any 1s. There's an ability score part of the dice roller that makes it super easy, you might want to try that. Just say 6 abilities, reroll 1s once.
Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny.

Name: Nave
Race: Tiefling
Class/Subclass: Rogue (2) / Bard (3) - College of Lore
Background: Haunted One

Figwyn was delivering goods to Elin when the perpetual fog descended. He has been cooped up in the town for far too long. Name: Sraak
Race: Kobold
Class/Subclass: Warlock
Background: Inheritor
Backstory: Sraak was a good kobold.

Name: Malon Urus
Race: Beast hide Shifter
Class/Subclass: Monster slayer ranger level 5
