Maira watches what the others do with great interest, cheering them on from the sidelines--quietly, so as not to draw even more undead down on their heads. She takes a deep breath, closes her eyes, and begins to sing. To anyone listening to her, it would become immediately obvious that she puts her entire heart and soul into her singing. The emotions she expresses through the song are so intense they are almost tangible. Her face radiates an almost--unearthly joy when she sings, and she seems not to notice her audience at all. Her voice is a clear, angelic, haunting soprano, and the melody is lilting and bittersweet. Anyone who understands elvish would recognize the words as an ancient elvish Blessing someone put to music.
As she sings, flashes of color and glittering lights burst into being and swirl around her body, illuminating her as if she glows with a radiant light from within. The colors of her skin, hair and eyes seem even more vivid than usual, and her eyes have an almost iridescent sheen. When she turns her gaze on Sayyida, Sae, Areleo, and Emrys, they feel new courage enter their hearts, and new vigor strengthen their tired muscles. She smiles softly at them as the glow fades from the air and from her skin, and her song finally comes to an end.
Then her brow furrows in concentration and she begins the same whispered chanting you recognize from the last time she cast a spell. The effects of whatever magic she is channeling are not immediately obvious but will be revealed eventually if successful.
She's going to use Mantle of Inspiration to grant 8 hp's to Sayyida, Sae, Areleo, and Emrys. You can each use your reaction to immediately move up to your speed without provoking attacks of opportunity as well.
She is also going to cast Healing Word on Sayyida at 1st level. She regains 5 hp's.
I'll go ahead and assume that Wade attacks the Commander with Spiritual Weapon (it hits) and positions himself to zap him with spirit guardians. Commander Wis save vs. Spirit Guardians: 7
Two of the other wraiths are also in melee with the party, so they also get hit with the Spirit Guardians.
When the greater Wraith faded under the weight of Wade’s shining hammer Emrys could not help but to feel divided between relief and frustration. Relief, obviously, because there was one less enemy and said enemy seemed to be the most dangerous there. Frustration because the damned spirit could well have died before calling allies. Its words of gratitude filled the warlock with a terrifying idea – that they were victims of hailstorm, enslaved after death and torment to protect his treasure.
“Let’s try to focus damage! Keep attacking the ones already hit!” The halfling shouted as light faded from his eyes. Iris and sclera covered in a fog of darkness as he raised his focus against the spirit Yevelda had just hit and whispered those arcane, incomprehensible words. Their will, his will, bent the Weave and two beams of crackling energy cut through the air. One of them bent halfway, as if adjusting itself towards the enemy. It was like last time, thought Goldenleaf. His magic seemed to be resisting fate itself. Or at least trying to.
Looking back at that battle, Emrys would have liked to say he wanted to free ghosts. In truth he was far more worried with survival. His own and that of his companions, which in the end was the same thing.
Notes: Emrys uses his action to cast Eldritch Blast (First beam: 27 to hit and 10 force damage. Second beam: Nat 1 rerolled [Halfling's Lucky] into 16 to hit, 12 force damage) on the wraith Yevelda hit. If it dies on the first beam then the second beam would go into the wraith hit by Sayyida.
...and Sae's rapier impales the spirit, which lets out a contented sigh as it is finally freed from its servitude to the dreaded Captain.
The remaining three wraiths are up, and they each take aim with their bows, launching spectral arrows at Areleo, Sae, and Wade. Also... missed this before, but when they use their Bonus Action to make an additional attack, all attacks made against the wraiths have advantage until the start of the wraiths' next turn.
Sae lets out a yelp as the second arrow finds its mark. "Damn him! I'd hit all the time too if I could shoot two arrows a try and didn't have the resistance of this mortal bow slowing my hand!"
Maira is going to make a Performance check to try to trigger the wraith's memories of who they used to be. She's going to sing another haunting ballad from the place where she grew up. It is about someone who was kidnapped and taken into the Feywild, and who consequently forgot who they were for a time. The person only just escaped forgetting completely when one day they happened to stray near to the border between the worlds. They caught a glimpse of the town and lands where they used to live. Then suddently, they remembered everything. They knew instantly they were willing to risk their very lives to try and find their way home again!
Hearing the wraith's actually respond in a self-aware fashion to their own deaths would leave her badly shaken, and she would be hoping to give the remaining wraiths a better end than the first few. Restoring even a tiny bit of their memories would give her peace of mind about this. Not to mention she would possibly drain all the fight out of her friend's remaining foes if she succeeded.
Performance Check: 14
Persuasion Check if needed: 17
Lastly, she is going to cast Healing Word on Sae at 1st level to heal 5 damage
Unfortunately for Maira, it seems that the dark powers that compel the spirits are stronger than her performance... but perhaps it will help ease them into the next life.
Meanwhile, Wade managed to keep his concentration and he was able to close the distance to hit all three of the wraiths with his Spirit Guardians:
Spirit Guardians Wraith 3 Wis save - 0 Wraith 4 Wis save - 4 Wraith 5 Wis save - 12
Toll the Dead (I'll just say it's on Wraith 3) Wraith 3 Wis save - 7
And in spite of its resistance to her physical attacks, finish it she does. With two swings of her axe, she cleaves through the wraith's head, and a second swing rips through its abdomen. The spirit fades into nothingness like the others. Initiative: Sayyida Emrys --- Wraith Commander - finally at peace --- Areleo Sae --- Wraith 1/2/3 - at peace Wraith 4 - 13 damage Wraith 5 - 13 damage --- Wade Maira
Yevelda
Top of the round! Sayyida and Emrys are up, followed by Areleo and Sae!
Emrys is confused when he sees Maira trying to communicate with the remaining wraiths. The halfling imagines that her gestures are something akin to the somatic components of the spells he is familiar with. Maybe she was performing a ritual to banish the not quite creatures. Whatever the case, before she finishes, he turn his eyes to the remaining targets. Feeling almost bad for standing in what has proven to be a safe distance, he pulls the energy of the Waeve. Arcane force washed over his body and soul, his eyes becoming bottomless dark pools as he utters the same incomprehensible words that anticipated his former attacks.
Arm raised, hand turning the focus towards the closest spirit, he wills two beams of crackling energy to cut through the air. Goldenleaf felt the lack of precision in his attack, but only three enemies remained. His companions should be more than capable to compensate for his lack of damage power. Victory should practically assured. Such thoughts made him think of the shipwreck. Things tend to go terribly wrong when one less expect, after all. A piece of wisdom that by then he wished remained forgotten in his mind. I can never have peace, can I? The halfling asked himself rhetorically as color returned to his sclera.
Notes: Emrys is keeping the safe distance and casting Eldritch Blast on the closest wraith standing (Beam 1: 16 to hit, 7 damage. Beam 2: 11 to hit, damage not even rolled). All rolls on the campaign log.
Wade casts Spirit Guardians and uses his BA to attack with his [Tooltip Not Found] at the nearest creature
For any bad guys within 15' Take 17 Radiant damage; WIS Save 15 for half.

Wis Save for Wraith 1: 11
Wis Save for Wraith 2: 9
All three of the wraiths who are currently in melee fail their Wis saves against Spirit Guardians, taking the full 9 damage.
And, at long last, the Wraith commander lets out a final cry, as Wade's holy aura consumes it.
"Th-thank you," whispers an otherworldly voice as the ghostly body fades away, and his soul is finally able to rest.
Yevelda is up.
"You're welcome, I guess," she says as the spirit fades, then looks at the nearest remaining wraith. "Guess you'll probably need our help to..."
She attacks the nearest wraith twice with her greateaxe, using Reckless Attack to gain advantage on her attacks.
Greateaxe 1:
Attack - 23; Damage: 17
Greataxe 2:
Attack - 23; Damage 10
Both attacks find their mark... but the wounds that they leave seem to do far less damage than they should.

Both of Emrys' attacks hit Wraith 1, which looks like it's just barely clinging to the corporeal world at this point.
Since the wraith commander is busy being dead, Areleo and Sae are up!
Areleo attacks Wraith 1 twice with his flaming blade Recklessly

Areleo's first swing rends Wraith 1 in half. I'll just go ahead and apply the second attack to Wraith 2.
