Faelan tries to understand Zeg. "Do ya mean like this?" The Harengon hops backwards and counter clock wise. "What's so special about this?"

"Reverse of the clock I wonder if that was litterol or figurative, or time or like the white knight talking backwards" Flynn murmers to himself as he follows along
Zeg chuckles at Faelan's antics, and almost immediately afterward there is an echoing noise from above that sounds like.. a baby laughing. The group look up to see the source, but can see only a raven watching them from within a mangrove tree. It opens its beak and the laughing-baby sound repeats again, then the bird flies away.
Feet squelch in the mud as the group splash their way in the vague direction that Jebbek indicated. The mud is thick and smells like fermented fruit, and solid patches of ground are hard to find among the average three inches of stagnant water. After about eight minutes of travel, the rhythmic squelching sound is overlaid with a diffuse gurgling noise, and the water levels begin to rise. Lumps of wood float past Flynn's knees (including a three-foot-long log that Flynn swears said "good morning" to him as it passed), along with multitudes of small brightly-coloured flowers just going with the flow. Finding a dry patch of ground soon becomes futile, and the water continues to rise, engulfing Faelan's waist. More detritus floats past, including an 8-foot-square wooden raft. Finally the rising waters halt as they reach chest-level. The flood is so rapid that the two earth-bound travelers find themselves swimming before they can reach the safety of the nearest trees, whose gnarled branches peek out of the water's surface...

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Navi's head tilts in focused curiosity when Faelen would demonstrate what Zeg was explaining. Watching him bounce backwards, she's get excited and mimic the movements too. Fluttering beside him, she'd hold her hands up to her chest like an animal holding their paws and 'bounce' back with a jut of her bum, her wings jerking her back like a hop. She giggles, and continues along side their Harengon. "It's our Safety Dance!" The little fairy exclaims, throwing her hands up in her exuberance, then she claps excitedly to herself.
Ears perk to the baby's laughter, and Navi's blue eyes spot the crow. It giggles again, then takes off. "Bye baby crow!" She calls out waving at it as it flies away.
Shwoop! The little fairy does her loop de loop and spin, taking up position near to her non fluttering companions as they trudge through the swamp. She'd flutter along, quite literally flying circles around them. However, Navi was diligent and would of course practice their safety dance! If she were so lucky to have over heard the morning wood whisper sweet nothing's to Flynn, she'd chime a good morning in return without thinking much of it. She'd soon be distracted by the accompanied lil brightly coloured flowers, hovering over them and pretending to hop back over each one of them as they passed. Caught up in her own amusement, the little fairy would hum a delightful tune to herself as she continued dancing along through the other's potential misery. She'd even pitter patter on the passing raft a moment as it passes by.
"Say, we can go where we want to A place where they will never find And we can act like we come From out of this world Leave the real one far behind
And we can dance Or sing
We can go when we want to Night is young and so am I And we can dress real neat From our hats to our feet And surprise 'em with the victory cry
Say, we can act if we want to If we don't, nobody will And you can act real rude and totally removed And I can act like an imbecile
And say, we can dance, we can dance Everything's out of control We can dance, we can dance They're doing it from pole to pole We can dance, we can dance Everybody look at your hands We can dance, we can dance Everybody's taking the chance Safety dance Oh well, the safety dance Ah yes, the safety dance
We can dance if we want to We've got all your life and mine As long as we abuse it, never gonna lose it Everything'll work out right."
Faelan was going to say that he didn’t sign up to go through chest level water, but then Navi’s singing lifted his spirits. “Ah wish ah could dance in these waters, ah swear. Alright folks, we gotta keep movin’.”

The rise of the water levels is so sudden, the flow so strong and the level so high, that movement forward is impossible for Faelan and Flynn, and they are forced to go with the flow for a short while as Zeg and Navi fly along. As the waters gradually cease to rise, the current slows until it becomes still. This pause lasts for only a few moments before the current begins to move again, this time in the opposite direction, and the water levels slowly start to fall once again. The two flightless travelers wash back in the general direction they came, but not quite the same direction, until the water levels fall enough for them to get and hold their footing once again. The entire ordeal seems to last less than half an hour, but due to the lack of visible sun location (whether from the obscuring effect of the mists or some other reason) it is difficult to tell just how much time has passed. The mist also makes it difficult to determine exactly where the group end up compared to their starting location.
As the water continues to recede, a loud gurgling slurping sound can be heard from nearby. A short fly/wade in the direction of the sound allows the group to behold the source: A well of hewn stone, 10 feet in diameter, and rising 21 feet above ground level, is drinking in the surrounding muddy water, which flows up the sides of the well and into the main shaft. Several small unidentifiable items bob around on the water's surface at the very top of the well just where the water slurps down into the darkness.
Zeg swoops to the top of the reverse-fountain, and peers at the two small items bobbing on the water's surface, which appear to be a cookie cutter and a tiny sundial. Approaching to get a closer look, Zeg suddenly feels a presence nearby, and his feathers stand on end for a moment. There is a sharp crack of electricity, which startles but doesn't harm Zeg. A small mote of light appears right beside the owlin, not too different from the little ball of light that follows Faelan around.
Zeg gets the impression that the ball of light that just appeared was in fact there all the time, and became visible after it clumsily tried (and failed) to electrocute Zeg. A tiny, high-pitched voice is heard coming from the mote of light, speaking Sylvan, with an unmistakable tone of confrontation, and saying:
Is there something I can do for you?

Faelan is surprised to see another creature similar to Luz. He whispers to his friend. "Heya Luz, can ya talk with what looks like your buddy? Not thieves? Our deepest apologies, stranger, but that fella down there looks just like Agdon Longscarf, and with you coming up and helping yourself to our treasures... Come to get your stuff back? And with that the two wisps vanish again, although it is certain that they are still nearby, but just prefer to remain invisible.

All she knew was that they suggested a big ol' tower to see the land.
