Seeing the small (to him) demon drop to his feet so quickly, Tyekanik almost calms down, disappointed that the foe who seemed to lead this slaughter was so quickly cut down. But seeing the remaining cultists continue to swarm he leaps into the midst of them, cleaving down as many as possible.
Action: Attack: 29 Damage: 53 Attack: 24 Damage: 61 - Attacks made recklessly (so adv to hit him after), and with GWM -5 to hit. + 11 if a crit (due to Brutal Critical) - If any crit or he kills anyone, extra attack as BA due to GWM: Attack: 30 Damage: 75
After the demon dies, Clarac sees the cultists fall one after the other. Finding it hard to believe the remaining few could survive Tyekanik's brutal assault, she uses her Divine Sense to check whether any more demons are lurking nearby.

Facing your fury, they are still no match, and the remaining two cultists fall to your axe. An unsettling quiet covers the area, the only sound is that of the burning buildings.

You do not sense any hostile intent in the immediate area
Khessa is satisfied with the outcome of the first battle: "Great job all! It is clear that if we can hit them while they are divided and disorganized, we can beat them easily".
“We need to leverage the advantage we have” the blonde arcane warrior reasons. "Let's look for the next group of enemies - and neutralize them as we did this one. Rinse and repeat. In no time, the forces of the Nefarious Duo, instead of having a foothold, will have a graveyard".
Vrox waits a moment to make sure that there are no other hidden enemies. Then he comes out of hiding and hurries to the center of town to join the others. He looks at the huge goliath and the beholderkin with wide eyes. Vrox shouts up to Tyekanik in Giant:
"Can you see any other enemies from that vantage point?" (in Giant)
Vrox quickly collects any of his arrows that are still in good condition, cleans them, and puts them back in his quiver. He also manages to fit his entire longbow in the quiver somehow! He equips a dark, wooden shield etched with intricate designs of vines and interlocking patterns with an eye in the center of it.
If the Akkron want to search the demon's body or the cultists, Vrox will help with that endeavor. Otherwise, he will quickly do that himself, looking for anything that may give a clue to where the party should go next.
If that doesn't yield any information, then Vrox would look for tracks leading into the village, especially the demon's tracks. Its hoof-prints should be distinct, and if it walked into town, Vrox may be able to track it back to the local base or headquarters of these cultists.
(OOC: Let me know what, if any, skill checks you want for any of that.)
As you search the bodies, you find on the cultists 7 black steel bladed daggers, 7 scimitars, and loot from the town (130 sp, 12 gp). The demon on the other hand, has two distinct items that draw your attention. First the distinct sword its carrying, glowing with a heinous energy and bathed in the blood of the innocent townsfolk.
The other object that draws your attention is the spiked collar the demon is wearing. It appears to be made from brass, cruelly spiked and engraved with the sigils of the Blood God Azash.
Akkron chuckles when he notices Vrox eyeing the beholderkin.
"That isn't even the most powerful thing I can conjure up," he chuckles.
The lich sighs as he looks over the absolute devastation. As usual, it seems that they're too late to save the innocents. All they can do is punish the monsters.
"Speaking of the most powerful thing I can conjure... let's make sure that the forces of evil don't have any captives... at least not in the line of fire... then I have an idea of how to definitively punish their crimes."
(OOC: Lord Akkron would really like to use illusory dragon to wipe out as many of the cultists as possible... I don't think I've gotten to use that spell before and it looks awesome!)

Vrox supposes that no one is alive to return the coins to. If they have kin, the party would at least have to take the treasure back to Queen Ehlana to be redistributed later. He asks, "Does anyone have a bag for carrying treasure?"
Does Vrox know anything about the demon's collar or sword? He doesn't suppose that anyone in the party would want to use them, but is it dangerous to leave them lying here? Or does the cleric need to cleanse them in some way? And do these items have any powers that they should watch out for in their future encounters with Azash's fiends? Arcana15 (rolled with advantage since fiends are one of his Favored Enemies)
Akkron chuckles when he notices Vrox eyeing the beholderkin.
"That isn't even the most powerful thing I can conjure up," he chuckles.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Vrox does not find this comment very reassuring, especially coming from a powerful (undead) lich. Vrox looks at Akkron for a moment. Then he looks a bit wonderingly at the beholderkin hovering near Lord Akkron and says, "No! I imagine not! It's just that I have fought dragons and giants and even demons but never such a strange, unnatural-looking monster. It is odd to see such a creature fighting for our side."

(OOC: Ha! Yeah, really spell for those melee-focused enemies with really good DEX and CON saves but terrible INT saves!)
"Well, you see a lot of strange things if you adventure long enough," the lich says. "Granted... I have had over two thousand years, so there isn't much that surprises me anymore. This is a spirit summoned from the Far Realm, in the image of a beholder. I found the spell to conjure it shortly after I had a rather unpleasant encounter with a real Beholder, while I was doing some research on aberrations to better combat them in the future."
"I meant to find their base and deal a decisive blow to their forces," he explains regarding searching for survivors. "As for the possibility I brought up that they might have prisoners... well, I doubt that they would keep any for very long, but they might have a few that they plan to sacrifice in some ritual. That being said... yes, we probably should search for survivors in the ruins as well. I doubt there are any, but it is always possible they may have missed a few individuals. As for carrying what we have found... both Khessa and I possess such bags."
Khessa's Multiattack with Death Lance:
1st Attack: 23 Damage: 18 (magical piercing) + 16 (necrotic) = 34
2nd Attack: 31 Damage: 17 (magical piercing) + 15 (necrotic) = 32
3rd Attack: 34 Damage: 22 (magical piercing) + 13 (necrotic) = 35
Lord Akkron will go ahead and have his aberration blast three injured cultists (targeting those that look the most injured first).
Aberration vs. Cultists
Attack: 22 Damage: 11 psychic
Attack: 37 Damage: 11 psychic
Attack: 28 Damage: 11 psychic
The lich himself will go ahead and cats chill touch on whichever remaining cultist has the lowest HP.
