A single clear metallic impact from blade hitting blade and a hiss was all that was heard before a brief moment of silence, which is broken by a pair of screeching voices belting out the same gibberish heard earlier.
OOC: Leek it's your turn. Erenaeth, the gibberish means the same as you heard the first time.
ooc I am still unsure how to do the rolls, or which ones to choose. The interface is a little confusing and unfamiliar to me for the roll website.
Katerielle stands back, and wants to use her detect magic spell.
Not a problem. It's a learning process. First things first. There's a battle happening, so you need to join the initiative order to know when you get to play your turn. On the top of your sheet, there's a heading called Initiative and you have a +0 modifier. Therefore all you roll to join the initiative is roll 1d20. You can type [ roll]1d20[ /roll] without the spaces in the brackets, or you can click on the little dice icon in the reply chat box and select your dice that way.
To keep things moving, I will roll Initiative for you: 5
from PR: (Turning back towards the elven pair who have so ready dispatch the present threat, one is observed to be heavily wounded.
"Curses.. we need to tend that wound! The druid! Return to the cart. Then we aid Leek, surely they have set ambush to both edges of the road.")
if all agree to return and able under own power i use DASH to backtrack to the wagon in one turn. at which point i will address Katerielle: " the ranger has taken an arrow through, he will need your aid promptly"
Leek, upon hearing the commotion, will double back on his double back! I'll start heading straight towards around N10 or N11 and stop once I hit the road, so I can survey my surroundings and figure out what is going on.

Once the Goblin with the scimitar falls dead, Kitryn turns to look at the two Elves, only to notice the crude black feathered arrow sticking out of Ereneaeth's abdomen. "Curses... we need to tend that wound! The Druid! Return to the cart. Then we aid Leek, surely they have set ambush to both edges of the road". Kitryn then uses her full movement to fetch Katerielle, "The ranger has taken an arrow through, he will need your aid promptly."
OOC: It is now Katerielle's turn. Do you wish to cast Detect Magic now that Kitryn has made you aware of the situation (note, I looked and you don't have a heal spell ready anyway...), or do you want to do something else? Keep in mind what you see (I described in your PM). After Katerielle, it'll be Rindelk's turn, and afterwards Ereneaeth. You can all post your intentions now and I will narrate in proper initiative order.
Eren continues to scan the surroundings as he moves towards the fallen goblins.
"Those creatures are a Pox upon the world. We have done good this day. Now, let's see what goods they have pilfered, and if we can find more to cleanse from the world... "
Eren moves carefully as to not worsen his wound. As well as keeping 3/4 cover.
OOC: At this point, Katerielle will cast Detect Magic unless I am told otherwise before Rindelk gives me his action. I'm also waiting on Leek before the NPC's can go.
Erenaeth moves carefully towards the corpse of the nearest dead Goblin and sees another living Goblin with a scimitar toeing Rindelk's kill.
OOC: Doubled the movement cost to carefully move and stay in 3/4 cover. You moved 10 feet out of your total for this round. It is still your turn. You have an Action, Bonus Action available and the remainder of your movement.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Katerielle casts Detect Magic. She is now certain that there are no magic objects or creatures within 30 feet, all around her.
Erenaeth draws another arrow from his quiver and quickly sends it downfield to the Goblin scoring a solid hit. The arrow punctures the Goblin's lung and it coughs blood, but it locks eyes with Erenaeth and remains standing.
Seeing a Goblin standing between the dead horses up the road, Leek places a smooth stone in his sling and as he releases the stone, he yells, "You have the mark, foul creature!" The shout alerts the Goblin who dodges the stone.
The Goblin Erenaeth shot with an arrow lets out a loud gurgling yell and charges Ereneath, zig-zagging around trees to avoid being shot again.
The Goblin on the road doesn't have a good line of sight to Leek, but sees Kitryn's who has her back turned to it. It nocks and fires a black feathered arrow, attempting a long range shot and misses.
Attack: 14 Damage: 5
The Goblin then moves into the treeline towards it's ally, and makes a poor attempt to hide.

Roll20 has been updated. Both Goblins have 1/2 cover from ranged attacks (ie: +2 AC). Erenaeth, if you try to use ranged attacks, you will be at a disadvantage because you are engaged in melee.
Initiative order is: Kitryn, Katerielle, Rindelk, Erenaeth and then Leek. Feel free to post your intentions, don't need to wait for others to post theirs first.

Ooc. Timing of 'second' set of giberish is post conclusion on our side or is our side?

Katerielle stands back, and wants to use her detect magic spell.
Party is still split, do we continue here or in PM room?
Here.

Upon hearing the cacophony behind him, Leek turns around and rushes back to the road, staying just inside the tree cover.
OOC: Leek and Katerielle, see your PM's!
Leek uses his full movement and his action to Dash for another movement to reach N10.
Eren continues to scan the surroundings as he moves towards the fallen goblins.

Katerielle wishes to cast Detect Magic.
ooc Is this also a dice roll?
OOC: Rindelk's turn.
Detect Magic is like a switch: on/off. If a spell requires a roll, it will say so in the spell description.
It is a "CONCENTRATION" spell, which means if you get damaged, you have to roll to see if you can maintain your concentration or else the spell ends.
Leek yells "You have the mark, foul creature!" and shoots his sling towards the horses (for those who can see me).
Attack: [roll]1d20 + 4 [/roll]
Attack: 9 Damage: 6
Okay, so first thing didn't work. Dice roller icon does.
Rindelk moves next to the trunk of a tree, benefiting from its cover and takes out his journal to start writing a detailed description of his kill.
OOC: (Taking the Dodge action.)
Erenaeth moves carefully towards the corpse of the nearest dead Goblin and sees another living Goblin with a scimitar toeing Rindelk's kill.

Eren shoots the new foe.

Movement + Dash to move adjacent to Erenaeth.
