“Thundertree is where Mirna’s treasure is. A trip there could afford us a lead to the castle, a powerful ally, and some money. Not to mention any other abandoned items that may be left there.” Aros offers after a bit of thought. “Either way, I’d like to check in with Mirna and the children before we get into any further Redbrand nonsense.”
Syzygy eats his meal and is grateful. The hours spent in menial assessments around the ruined cottage had dulled his post-charmed rage.
He responds to Quiline’s advice
“It would be an honour to stick around, and with enough resources and a couple of months we hopefully won’t burden you every other night like we have been this week. But for now, unfortunately an employer and friend is in need of our help.”
Syzygy almost says not to worry and that Byrony will be safe but he too quickly remembers the danger he dragged her into earlier that day.
“This Druid could indeed be helpful, but for some reason I’m inclined toward Wyvern Tor. Bully some bandits into handling over the information we require.”
he quickly finishes the sentence and stops considering he’s in polite company.
"Well, everyone. We have some options to consider. I'm looking to pawn off this short sword and extra crossbow I acquired. Perhaps we can stretch out legs, find a merchant looking to buy and then take things from there?"
He looks back to Aunt Qelline.
"Any idea where I can sell a weapon or two around here?"

"Lionshield Coster," replies Qelline to Quinn. "right on the green, across the street from Townmaster's Hall. Linene will usually buy weapons and armor if they're in good condition."
(Anything taken off a dead or defeated Redbrand is cheap quality and poor condition - not worth much, if anything. Anything you purchased before the beginning of the adventure may be sold at half its standard purchase cost. Anything you took off the racks from the Redbrand Armory may also be sold at half-value. The exceptions are the shortsword whose pommel and guard are set with semiprecious stones, and two matched crossbows whose woodwork is inlaid with silver - these were part of the Armory collection. If sold, those weapons fetch twice their normal value. If there are other weapons or armor you acquired and aren't sure, just ask, and be sure to tell me when and where you acquired it. TL/DR: state what you're selling; update your inventory and coins accordingly!)
Qelline provides enough information about the locations of both Wyvern Tor and Thundertree that you feel confident you could reach either.
(Syzygy, Quinn, and I believe Jurgen have each indicted their preference in going on the Wyvern Tor mission next. Aros is interested in going to Thundertree next. Where do Bryony and Kimberley stand?)
The morning is beginning to slip away; it is approaching noon. You are still in town, finishing your errands. The sky grows darker with rain clouds; it is quite warm and humid.
Does Aros still want to catch up with Mirna and her kids? She said she was planning on staying with a friend and then getting out of town, so you don't know exactly where to find her. You do know that their home and her husband's woodworking shop was across the street from the Lionshield Coster, where many of you are running errands. It looks closed, the newish wooden shutters sealed shut.
Do any of you have any other errands to run in town?
Aros joins the outing to Lionshield Coster, taking in the town. “Why would those goons want to bother such a quaint little village? It’s lovely here. I just hope we can bring them some semblance of peace.”
He spends the time mulling over the groups options. “I almost forgot, we could return and check out the crevasse we found yesterday. If we think its worth our time.”
Kimberley looked at Aros, " Your thinking of killing Glasstaffs pet? Can't say that bothers me much, that thing gets hungry there's nothing stopping it from creeping through a window in Bryonys Aunts house one night....."
"Aros, didn't you spot something magical down in the crevasse by the downed bridge? I was about to climb down and check it out before Bryony can running in all bloodied up.
Might be worth checking."

“Killing? No, I didn’t get the feeling that the creature was a part of their operations. I think it just left them alone because they fed it.” Aros shifts uncomfortably at the thought of killing the creature without a direct reason. “As Quinn said, I detected some magical energy at the bottom of the crevasse. There was also a chill coming from the same area. It could be another area of the cave to explore or possibly belongings from previous… offerings to Ssarnak.”
Syzygy pulls out the necklace he took off the skeleton heaped at the bottom of the crevasse. The carved wooden pendant is shaped like a unicorn’s head. It looks amateurish, like a kid might have made it. He can glean no symbolic meaning.
(Do you all intend on re-entering the cave under the ruins next? Who's going? Are you entering through the stairwell in the ruins? Or through the tunnel Carp found?)
Bryony gives Syzygy a smile to show that she doesn't hold any ill will toward him. "It wasn't your fault," she says. "Wizards have all kinds of magic up their sleeves."
"I feel bad about killing the creature," Bryony chimes in as the others begin to talk about returning to the underground lair. "But I also don't want it to hurt my family."

"Shall we get going? I'd like to sell some of this fancy weaponry I hauled out of the manor. It's too flashy for me.
Then perhaps we can hit the trail? I'm not much of a city folk. I'd like to return to the woods for a bit and see what we can find."

Kimberley accompanies Quinn to the store.
Syzygy joins Kimberley and Quinn to pick up a couple of daggers (2x2gp).
in a moment of quiet along the walk…
”Byrony, I offer my sincerest apologies for endangering you in any way.” He says dryly but with sincerity, eyes forward.
“And Kimberley, next time, next time we should break their fingers.”
Kimberly gives Syzygy a wolfish grin.

"I agree with Aros, it seemed like it only wanted to be left alone. Even when we attacked it, Ssarnak never really fought back much.
But if it makes everyone feel safer if we go poking around the crevasse one last time, let's get on with it."
Quinn looks to the sky taking note of the darkening clouds on the horizon.
"We best get moving. It's looking a little bit like rain"
Quinn slings his longbow over his shoulder and makes way for the tunnel that little Carp showed the group.
