After Rhaenys is told to advance with the rest and Hewelathan and Flinn carry the cylinder the rest of the way, she listens to what the group proposes.
- Okay. So Korba will weaken that mouther over there - she whispers, pointing to the creature in the middle of the three, the one that Hewelathan indicated - then I'll pull him it into the cylinder. Meanwhile the rest deal with the other two. Aaand none of us touch that black hole in the slightest. Fine by me. I'm ready.
When everyone seems to be ready too, Rhaenys will plug the cotton in hear ears (just in case she's not covered by Truthseeker's protection aura) and gets ready to cast. She'll do it as soon as Korba gives the sign.
Rhaenys' Telekinesis roll: Rolled a d20 and got an 11 and my spell modifier is +4 (I'm guessing we have to use that value instead of the spell attack right? Cause my spell attack is +10). So I think I got a 15.
Hewelathan reminds the others: "Don't forget to plug your ears before we start! I'll risk leaving mine unplugged so that I can keep an ear open for dolgrim or other threats.
"Rhaenys, once we've secured one of the monsters in the cylinder, could you use your magic to bring the cylinder up the tunnels as long as you can? That'll free up Flinn and me in case we run into other trouble."
Hewelathan asks Korba, "Once you curse the creature, could you watch our backs for anything coming from the tunnels? We may need Jodie's bow, and I may be busy helping with cylinder. You're the only other one with the sight of the elves."
I assume that Flinn and Hewelathan will manage the cylinder while Rhaenys drops the monster into it. I don't want it to tip over until we get the lid on it, and I don't know how much we'll have to fight the creature to get the lid on. That would leave Tytus and Jodie to use ranged attacks to fight off any other threats until we secure the specimen.
Hewelathan will stand near the cylinder (about 10' back) for now with the lid of the cylinder in hand as a kind of shield. If Flinn can fight off the monster's attacks and/or stabilize the cylinder, Hewelathan will jam the lid on the cylinder once the aberration is inside it. I can't tell whether the way is open at our level directly to the north. If it is, we can put the cylinder there. If it isn't, Hewelathan can position himself and the cylinder about halfway between Rhaenys and due north.
“Can we toss one of them into the hole?” Korba asks, knowing there is little that he and his sword can do.
Hewelathan looks alarmed but looks to Tytus and Rhaenys, "I don't know. What do you think that would do?"
Hewelathan is cautious. If we don't know what it is, don't mess with it. Just get the professor's "specimen," and get out of here safely. He still hopes that group is fast enough to keep away from the other gibbering mouthers while they escape from the cave.
Korba nods and then moves forward to the edge of the pit. Plugging his ears he looks through his dark lenses at the creatures, points to the one Rhaenys had indicated to him, and weakens it. After doing so he quickly backs up, unplugging his ears, and keeps an eye, and ears, out for anything approaching from behind ((perception 9)).
"Never seen anything like it. But i think it is always good to assume the worse, could be a portal or a bomb, who knows. Not, going to lie to you, i am tempted to mess with it, but not now."
Tytus goes invisible when Korba starts acting, and stays close to Rhaenys but on the other side of the same ledge. unplugged ears for now, when mouthers are not approaching.

I should have said that Hewelathan touches Korba and prays that the rock and stone embraces the half-drow and benefit him. (Cast guidance on Korba.)
“I can distract them” says Flinn not without a flinch in his voice “Truthseeker will protect me from their magic… and the cotton will help too. And I can try to grab the one that we are going to try to capture… “
he looks over his shoulder towards the chamber “I have a bad feeling about this “
Okay, so Flinn is going to try to get their attention while everyone else is busy with the capture... Flinn, if you're trying to catch their attention I think I'll need a DC 10 Performance check to keep them occupied while the rest of the party does their thing. I'll say if the Performance check is a success then everyone on the capture team gets advantage on any ability checks they make related to snatching up the gibbering mouther.

Okay, so, the mouther is easily ensnared by the telekinetic spell. Meanwhile, the other two gibbering mouthers are trying to chase Flinn. Everyone, go ahead and roll Initiative.

Seeing that the two abomination monsters are following him, who had imagined that they would really liked so much 'The Sailor and the Siren', suddenly realizes that he is alone, in a cavern with two glibbering mass of meat and mouths following him and freezes. He doesn't even hear the sword voice in his head trying to encourage him into a bold fight. He swallows, and cleans the sweat on his temples trying to think in something to do.
