Regarding the chamber, there are two branches, and you can tell from here that each branch will probably branch out further. You can tell where you're going by the insane gibbering sounds, though getting back might prove challenging if you haven't made sure to mark the tunnels clearly.

Never mind, I'm pretty sure your passive Perception is better than 5. As he's wandering through the tunnels ahead of everyone, Tytus catches a glimpse of a strange four-armed goblin-like creature that is looking very confused by the ling moving through the tunnels with no apparent source.
Meanwhile, the rest of the party catch sight of two more of the same type of creatures trying (and failing) to hide from you among the rocks, presumably planning an ambush.

(OOC: When you say "goblin-like," does that also mean that they're small like a goblin? How far away are they from the party? Does hiding "among the rocks" mean that they're behind partial cover? Are there rocks or some other cover within the same chamber but not near the creatures?)

They're small creatures. They're behind half-cover. Since Tytus didn't notice them when he passed by earlier, you can deduce that they likely emerged from smaller passages or alcoves in the rock after he left the chamber.

As soon as Rhaenys sees the two creatures next to them, she casts a spell to protect herself in case a combat begins. But she'll also try to pacify the situation. In the event that these creatures and the gibbering mouther are not in friendly terms, they could help each other out.
So she rises her hands in a gesture of peace and says:
- We don't wish to harm you. We are here for the aberration with many mouths. Will you let us rid you of it?
Rhaenys doesn't know if they understand Common, but given that she can only speak that and Elvish, this is the best she can do.
Hewelathan thinks that the creatures look like a goblin that's been warped or twisted by whatever magic brought the gibbering mouther to the caves. He assumes that they're either unnatural aberrations or that they're in league with with the wizard who drew the arcane symbols. In either case, he assumes that they're an immediate threat. He tries to stow his moon sickle and draw one of his javelins, moving calmly and slowly so that he doesn't provoke an attack. But then Rhaenys surprises him by talking to the creatures.
Hewelathan will move to stand next to Rhaenys and ready an attack with his javelin. (If either of the creatures attacks any of the party members or attempts to flee, he'll throw the javelin at it.)
Tytus and the remaining strange creature are some ways ahead, and the strange creature isn't quite stupid enough to attack something that it can't see. I think we can use theater of the mind for this encounter since, well, I don't expect it to be very long.

/ok, I got little lost at where everyone is, but have general idea now/
Since Tytus spotted only one creature, and it does not seem like a target, he would try to pass him and go further fallowing gibbering noises.
Tytus thinks that even if he would have to run back he should be able to get away from that one monster. (If Tytus would spot those two or all three he would probably go back, but one seems ok to pass)

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the goblin-like creatures clearly ready themselves for attack, he draws his sword from its sheath, purposely cutting himself ((1dmg)), though the quick pain only helps to focus his sight. He then charges towards the nearest and attempts to slash at it.
Flinn feeling kind of bad for the small creatures but not wanting it to attack him or his comrades, jumps forward and swings Truthseeker, trying to end the thing as quickly as possible.
The sharp edge of the holy sword finds flesh and cuts its target.
Flinn, who was closing his eyes to avoid looking at the creature when he hurts them, opens one eye, to see if his attack was effective or not.
And so, the little thing is sliced in half without much fanfare. Everyone is probably feeling pretty confident after that (evil DM laugh in the background)
For two CR 1/2 creatures (that is to say, a total CR of 1), each of you who were present for the fight get 40 XP (sorry, Tytus. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll have an opportunity to get in on the action soon enough...)

Jodie was about to rummage in her bag, looking for a cookie or whatever aberrant goblins like to eat. "Ugh, those things were pretty weird. Doesn't seem like they started like that."
Jodie moves ahead 30', directs the dancing lights further. If she is within sight of the last mutant goblin, she shoots it with her shortbow. (Attack 8)
Jodie offers to follow Tytus up to the intersection and listen (20) for any sign of the creature.
"I'm sure I can hit a note that would draw the creature closer." Jodie offers and smiles mischievously.

Hewelathan takes a few steps and hurls a javelin at the other goblin thing. Then he draws his moon sickle.
Movement: moving to get within 30' of his target. If he has any movement remaining, he retreats back to their cylinder.
Action: Attack goblin thing, javelin (30/120): 18, Damage 10
Free Action: drawing moon sickle
Hewelathan's attack badly wounds, but amazingly does not kill, the goblin thin.
Flinn is up! Then the goblin-thing if it's somehow still alive by then.
