Yvas circles the bush, patting it again and examining it. "Well, clearly Clue 1 is the Hall of Oracles. Clue 2 is the Alumni Art Gallery. Clue 3 is Student Cafe Seating. Clue 4 is the Book Garden. Clue 5 is the amphitheater. This bush is either enchanted or perhaps awakened. Likely an awakened shrub if this is a magic school causing it to move away when touched, thus revealing something hidden in its depths."

(OOC: What I mean though is I said what I was doing, and when the DM was able to be on he ignored it. If the DM runs the whole game and can only be on long enough for 1 short sentence every several hours, I may drop out. Just saying. I've been patient, but I can already tell that this game will continue to move slowly, which has made many campaigns fall apart in the past. Decrepit threads tend to abrade, slowly losing interest in members. That is why I tend to endorse those who may post more often, selecting people for my campaigns through close investigation of how often they post and what percentage of their time they spend on each type of thread. That is why my campaigns post fairly often. As a DM it is my responsibility to make sure I have time for 5-minute breaks every once and a while, making arrangements in my duties to keep the interest of all members of my campaign. The average human has an attention span lower than that of a goldfish, along with 47 seconds on any particular screen. This is a problem with play-by-posts, especially when the DM is less active than the players, as they have to post before anyone else knows what they are doing, other than player conversation. Wallace D. Wattles stated "There is never any time but now, and there never will be any time but now", supporting my affirmation that putting things off will greatly reduce their interest. James Van Allen states, "These days, it's really been uninteresting except when disasters occur." While that is not entirely true, it does clarify the fact that staring at a screen waiting is uninteresting. Focusing on something other than this thread strengthens the neurological connections in our brains to be used to not going on this.)
As Vas enters the Book Garden he can see full grown oaks at the edges of the garden with bushes in between the massive magically grown pine tree. When Vas walks over and strays patting random bushes one of them it leaves pull themselves with a rustle to reveal a small plush witherbloom mascot. (You gain the following item)
Cuddly Strixhaven Mascot
Wondrous Item, common
Representing one of the mascots of Strixhaven, this soft, Tiny, magic toy is perfect for cuddling. If you press it to your arm, shoulder, or leg as an action, the toy stays attached there for 1 hour or until you use an action to remove it.
The toy can also be used to fight off fear. When you make a saving throw to avoid or end the frightenedcondition on yourself, you can give yourself advantage on the roll if the toy is on your person. You must decide to do so before rolling the d20. If the save succeeds, you can't use the toy in this way until you finish a long rest.
As Keiro reaches forth to touch the gathered light he can feel himself overwhelmed by the overpowering magic and loses control of his body for a split second. Keiro jerks his hand back and from the light pulls forth a healing potion decorated in spidery lines working upward made out of what you assume is gold.
As Vas is investigating the portrait and various objects, he comes across a masterful painting of several older alumni dressed into robes of the Prismari College. Vas reads the plaque below it that says “At Strixhaven we were all inspired.” He notices a small lever under the plaque as he glances down. As he puts his hand forth and pulls it down, a small bow black box decorated with silver pops out of the wall with a small click. Vas opens up the box to reveal a small pendant.
Wondrous Item, common
This magic pennant bears the symbol of Strixhaven or one of its colleges: Lorehold, Prismari, Quandrix, Silverquill, or Witherbloom. While you wave the pennant, the symbol on it glitters, and the pennant sheds bright light in a 10-foot-radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.
Kierro gasps in astonishment. "Such... such energy!"
He gazes at the healing potion and smiles. "Someone who could really use the healing. I'll be happy to provide it when the time comes. Now! I believe clue three says to serve up the list to the cafe - let's show them the scavenger hunt list!"

Drix approaches the group besides the wild snarl, he could use some help with this challenge and a nervous human would probably want to join a group. Especially one that includes a kobold that appears to be on good terms with a dragon, the group also reminds him of his troupe, his first home and his only family. He could probably contribute his own skill to the group, as well
"I can join your group; I'm still new to all of this, but I believe I can help in the café." His words are for the entire group, but they are directed at the harengon in particular, who seems to be the leader of the group.
The human holds out a hand "My name is Drix, It's good to meet you. Congratulations on finding the potion, not many students would think of reaching into the snarl."
Yvas laughs to himself. "Although it did say ensnarled in the light, which means to be caught or surrounded by something. I'm surprised most people couldn't catch that. Now, when you go to the Cafe, look for a manager, as students wouldn't be in on working for the scavenger hunt. Do as the manager says, and do it well."
"The more the merrier! You are my new best friend!" He smiles and shakes hands, "I think we should all try to touch the light so everybody gets a potion?" With this, and faking a brave face, Theodore thrusts his hand into the light.
"Yes, the cafe next!"

Drix smiles "Thank you, I don't know if we can all receive a prize, but I suppose it's worth a try." He reaches into the snarl, searching for an object.
As each of you thrust your hands into the pooled light, you all momentarily lost in the power. You each jerk your hands back holding of what you assume is a healing potion.
Theodore looks at the potion in his hand with glee. That is very cool, what a neat trick!
He awaits the others, he saw the cafe on the way in, so knows which way to go.
While waiting he examines the bottle in his hand. "I wonder what kind of liquid this is?" swishes it around, uncorks and sniffs it, holds it up to the light.
OOC: Not sure if the appearance of healing potions is well known or if the bottle in labeled.
Kierro steps toward the Snarl and reaches out, attempting to touch it.

Yes you are right in front of the magic snarl in the oracle hall.
