Kit - You absolutely find a window, it is slightly ajar, and you can climb through it. You can also see everything that is happening in the bar.
Mark - Coal calms down when you mention Sergeant Vilroy. "Ok, let's drop the Cant. Half the people here can understand us anyway. Why are you here and not Vilroy, why has she sent you?"
“Fair enough, we are here because it may look bad if a high ranking member of the watch just strolled into a place like this. You can think of us as an intermediaries trying to conduct business quickly and silently. We were informed that you had a message that you wanted our beneficiary to have.” Mark says with a curt but non-hostile tone
She seems immediately happy with that response. "Ok, yeah good good. Safety and all that." She signals the bartender for another drink. "Here's the thing, i'm into some serious shit. See, there's this kid that got kidnapped from House Orien, then my friend Razor got killed, poor bastard. Then there are these Daask ****s hunting for relics in Old Sharn..."
She launches into this whole story, hoping to convince you to hook up a meeting with Vilroy.
It's at this point that the Shifter pushes into the bar, knocking past Elero and ordering the Kobolds around the room: Contested Atheltics in Game Log.
Seeing that Coal is talking to someone, the Shifter throws a dagger, just barely missing Coal's head. "It's a set up!", Coal glares at you. "You bastards!"
Coal quickly steps up from the table at races for the back door. The Cog Carnival is in immediate uproar, Kobolds and Warforged fighting all over the place, with the Shifter chasing after Coal, taking a detachment of Kobolds with her.
Will you chase after Coal and the Shifter or join in the melee in the Cog Carnival.
Elero's Athletics check: 0, but he'd probably let the Shifter pass regardless, since his goal was to try and prevent Coal from leaving, and he wasn't aware of what letting the Shifter in would mean.
Once the chaos ensued, he'd attempt to weave his way through it and chase Coal, since the team's goal was to meet her, but first he'll expend one use of Magical Tinkering to imbue the tiny megaphone he's been crafting to "emit a nonverbal sound". If the Sharn Watch has a particular siren, or whistle, or attention-getting device they use when they arrive on a scene or are called into action, the device will emit that sound in a continuous loop. He'll place it on a windowsill near the door before heading after Coal.
The dice rolling in-post may not be working, so I rolled a 17-1=16 in my character sheet, a surprisingly high result, so you can use that if my roll above doesn't ever show up.
Sorry I actually rolled for you already. It’s in the game log. Although if you were going to let the Shifter past anyway it doesn’t matter. Sometimes I’ll roll for you if it means I can get to the story faster, but still want your rolls to have meaningful effects.
also I think that error comes up when you have a full stop directly after a roll. Just gotta put a space between the roll and your period.
Oh, in the campaign itself? Aha, I see that now. A 7 seems more realistic for Elero, hehe. Thanks for the tip about leaving a space after the roll. Would you prefer us to roll stuff in the Game Log when called for in the future?
The sound definately throws an extra element of chaos into the mix. Some patrons are now leaving, while others are happy to keep fighting either because they don’t care or because they know that’s not actually the Watch. The Cog Carnival is complete chaotic bedlam.
Either Game Log or in the forum is fine. But if you do roll in the game log, make sure to post your result in the forum. Just so i don't have to flick between the two to see the results.

Kit sees the commotion ensue and old instincts kick in. Kit cant resist the chase. His whiskers grow longer, his fur mangier, his pupils contract into two sharp diamonds. He's a swiftstriding shifter on the hunt.
With Kit's increased pace he makes speed towards the back exit of the Cog to intercept Coal and the other shifter.
Kit - You arrive just after Coal gets through the door. Just as the Shifter comes hurtling through with its Kobold escort. They are moving to push past you but you can definitely get an action against them, and take an opportunity attack against either the Shifter or a Kobold.
Erix joins Centurion, thinking going with the warforged of the party will have the greatest success in such an establishment. He asks him
"how are your names chosen, could the name Coal give anything away of how they look?"
((sorry apparently the page wasn't refreshed. This was still for the entering of the bar))
As the fight start Erix runs after Coal and the shifter to hopefully help coal, who they were supposed to talk to.
"We choose them ourselves. Though many keep the names or some designation from our former lives. Coal, may have been a laborer in a mine or it could refer to color."
Centurions green eyes blaze with anger. "Bloody idiot," he calls after Coal, while wrenching his shield around. He will proceed after Coal, shoving anyone in his way.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Erix will try to get close enough to the shifter to catch him with thorn whip.
If possible:

Mark will nod, “this fine misses is all the way from scarlet palace.” In can’t he said, that is Germaine Vilroy

I’ll wait a bit before continuing just to make sure everyone’s on the same page in following Coal and her pursuers.

Mark will join the pursuit through the fights and we has a clear shot he will try to shoot the Shifter to slow them down.
