Rules:
We will be playing with the rules of the One Piece Dungeons and Devil Fruits Player's Handbook (D&D 5e System Homebrew) from NaturalCrit. I do not own any of the material, and all credits go to the original creator.

I've made some changes to the material:
Some classes or subclasses will only be available if you have a fitting devil fruit. The Devilforged class will only be allowed to use Sea Devil's Emanations Zoan Infusion unless they can obtain a mythical Zoan fruit in-game and are willing to bind it to their item. This will allow you to choose both Zoan infusion and Paramecia/Logia if the fruit permits. Sea Devil's Emanations are limited to Zoan fruits unless they can obtain a mythical Zoan fruit in-game and are willing to bind it to their item. The Devilforged class spells and abilities must originate from a mystical devil fruit or be limited to Zoan abilities unless the player can describe it in a creative way that would work in the One Piece world.
The Chemist class will be replaced with the Medic class from One Piece 5e, also from NaturalCrit. Again, all credits go to the original creator.

The Lunarian race will still be available but will be roleplayed as a Human with Lunarian ancestry. I will allow hybrid races, but it is up to the player to choose the rules, and the DM will decide whether to approve it or not.
I will allow every player to start with a Devil Fruit, Haki, or Character Feat as described in the rules. However, the rules for the devil fruits will be decided by the DM with the help of the player if they want to be part of the creative process. All devil fruits can be increased in power but will require a level or a feat to do so. This also means that you can start with any fruit, and you do not have to roll a random one, but the fruit will take time to control and grow in power. Players can have the same fruits (artificial fruits) if the DM allows it. I will even allow players to design their own fruit, but it needs to be approved by the DM.
The play-by-post format provides flexibility and allows you to participate at your own pace within set time limits.
The starting level for the campaign will be determined based on the character concepts and the desired balance of the party, but will be bewtween 3-8.

The plan was to only choose between the classes found in the One Piece material, but I will allow some classes and subclasses from traditional D&D. Please send me the rules for this Path of the Blademaster, and I will see if I can approve it.
If you want to have Conqueror's Haki you need to be lucky. These are the rules from Chapter 7:
Qualities of a King
To determine if you are born with the rare ability to awaken King's Haki, you must roll a d20 before or during character creation. If the result is 20, you are born with this gift.
Alternatively, the DM may choose to permit certain player characters or NPCs to use King's Haki without needing to roll, or simply allow the entire group to use it by default.

Back Story:
Raised on a small ship building island in the East Blue, Phaid Ashward, had a knack for building and creating things using scrap found around the docks and shipyard. He was also mentored by the local ship wrights gaining knowledge from a young age about inner workings of mechanical contraptions and simple robots. Due to his increased intellect, Phaid began to seek out more knowledge from books, blue prints, anything he could get his hands on, plus he had a knack for diving and salvaging ship wrecks, using the salvaged parts to create experimental robots or machinery.
Now an adult, Phaid seeks out sunken ships, they stranger the ship or the story behind the wreck, the more intrigued he is, but not for fame and fortune but rather for the rare parts it made provide.

Backstory: Jira was a free spirited individual from a young age and loved exploring and adventure. His family, The Sol, were one of many families of knighthood that were each respected through their strength. Jira's father, Sirus, trained Jira from a young age with all manors of weapons for him to succeed in the realm of knightlyhood. Tho ok with a sword and spear, his true talent lied with a gun. As he grew older and joined many competitions between knights, his talent with guns shown brighter than those around him. His ability to notice even difficult targets shown he had an eye for details. Thus those around him gave him the nickname: The Artist. His nickname also became his biggest hindrance once he saw the wicked dealings between members of nobility. He was taken away and sold into slavery to the celestial dragons where he suffer many events until he was able to escape thanks to one of his fellow slaves sacrificing herself in the escape attempt. From then, Jira was determined to get back his friend and do what he could to make every day as hellishly annoying as possible to the celestial dragons in order to free his friend.

I would say go for it and make it part of your character. That way you can explore, learn and make it character development.

backstory - As a child, Crow's family were wrongly accused of conspiring against the Marines and assisting pirates and criminals avoid said marines. one night, they stormed his home, killing his parents and taking his sister. the only reason he was left is because he hid the whole time. despising the marines for what they did, he joined a pirate crew, the main reason why, to cause chaos for the marines. if he had the chance, he'd topple them, and make sure they didn't have the numbers or resources to climb back to their feet.

That is a strong fruit but i will allow it :) it will grow over time in power, but as you start you just ate it and have not master it power yet :)

When you ask if you can swap wisdom and strength what do you mean? :) are you talking about Unrmored defense? :) if so their is also the Martial artist that get the Wisdom version of that :) but i will send yoiu a privat message to talk more :)
