Getting nearly lost in his doodles, he looks up to see the two missing. "Hey wait!" he shouts, scrambling to get his things before following the two outside. He is stopped in his tracks by the man with the alpine hat. He eyes the two muscular men, trying hard not to let the intimation show on his face. Despite being a changeling, his emotions have been easily read since the canonball accident. "Thanks for the information," he nods with a scowl, "I'm wasn't going to." It wasn't even a scam per say, more like a discount bin deal, but he didn't liked being talked down to. He always got that from every village he'd been to and he was tired of.
He scoops up his bags in a huff before jogging to catch up with the two. "Look... um, you don't need to buy anything- wow you guys move fast - I couldn't help but notice like 'something's up'. I know it might not be really my place for this, but what's..." Balen explains breathlessly as he bursts into the hospital that he had followed you to, "... going on up in here?"
"Sure..." He says hesitantly, glancing at the 'situation' over there before looking back at Tildrash. He follows you over to the barber's side while keeping a close eye on the three in the other room as they move. "What's with the guy on the bed over there? Is he knocked out or something?"

Okay, the world presents some problems and we don't know what to do / You've come to find your feelings aren't exactly what you knew.
Chin up! / Don't bet on sinking ships because they'll turn your chips to trash. / You've got to set your sights and hopes on setting not to crash!
The truth can seem quite bleak if you don't make your plans unfurl / But I would not let that mar my opinion of the world!
Tildrash shakes Fungus awake who groggily says “I stewod allah da beanss yestarday gib me a fewah mure menunts” but the continued shaking finally wakes him. He looks at you ashamed that he fell asleep “gee sorry hero I just got a little tired and thought I’d sit down for a bit and then I ju—“ he yawns rubbing his eye “well I guess I was a little too comfortable” He looks at Dew who is staring at the limp Supine “he’s not dead Dew” says Fungus “I just cast a sleeping spell on him” Fungus looks back behind everyone at Balen “who’s he?”
"No that's quite okay," He stares at the tall dragonborn in front of him. A whir of thoughts run through his head. Why did he say 'quite'? Why be so formal? Who was that sleepy guy? 'Stewed the beans', is that what he said? He tried to snap himself out it, "Robe? For what? He looks dressed enough already." Balen forces a laugh, looking up to see if Tildrash laughed too. "Haha for like what really though?
He pauses for a second. "Oh yeah, uh, I'm Balen." He reaches out to shake your hand
Balen cracks a smile, glad to see that he liked the joke. "Tildrash, right? Nice to meet you." He chuckles, "Your friend over there at the tavern, the guy with the green hat, he told me about you. Well, more like he warned me anyways. To not to mess with you," He shrugs, feeling that sentence went on too long, "Like, in a good way."
"What's with the robe anyways? Was it even worth attacking you guys for? Looks like he met the losing end of it."

"I'm sorry, he's just trying to make sure you don't cause any trouble."
"And don't worry about me, even if I didn't trust you, I'd give you a chance to show me I can."
"By the way, you don't have to worry about the man in the bed, he's not dead. We're trying to see what's going on with him. I suspect possession, but he may just be insane."
“And when it comes to that robe, your guess is as good as mine.”
"Nah, nah, it's okay. I'm kind of used to it." In a time span of a 15 seconds, he transformed rapidly into a quick succession of identities he'd taken on, ranging from a gnome to dragonborn to elf, for emphasis with an exaggerated short goofy gesture each time.
He reverted back to his original form with a smile. "Thank you though, I do appreciate it. I'm typically kicked out in seconds before I'm given a chance-" his memory was blanking on specific examples, "At least I think so anyways." He peeked back into the hospital room for a second before walking back, "Really... do you think he's dangerous though? Like he brought this on himself or was it more by accident? Is he from around 'ere too? Just asking."
((OOC: Sorry this might be my last post for the night. I got classes in the morning.))
“I don’t really know, when we talked about the robe he went hostile in a matter of moments. He started shouting about how it’s cruel to stop the end of the world.”
"Cruel... To stop the end of the world?" Balen pondered that for a minute. Why should he be in the way to stop that? Was it going to happen naturally or like... what did that mean? He didn't really have anything worth going for him really. How would it be like just to end? He thought of it as lying motionless in the blank abyss that is the sea. But he already experienced that, and that was not fun. What even would be a future for himself? Hmm... what he wanted most was stability. To be able to not have to scrounge day by day for food or for life. That would be pretty nice. And for everybody to have that that would be great too. If he could stop the end of the world, why not? The guy might be one of those crazy people who liked to talk about the end too much.
"Did you try to coax out more information out of him?" He smirked, "Do you think we can scare it out of him?"

"Yeah... fair enough," He felt a bit deflated at non-scaring idea, but it was okay it didn't really matter. He now felt sorry for the guy if his affliction was some sort of magic, especially if it wasn't one he brought onto himself. "Sure, I'll come with," Balen noticed that his ear had started ringing again, probably from all the rapid changing. Since the accident, the ringing was now basically his signal that his memory was going to fade. He couldn't even remember why he had gone to the tavern in the first place.
Before he followed Tildrash over to the hospital side, he wrote done some notes for himself on what the situation was. "You got any spells to kind of figure it out?" He asked Tildrash, but also gestured to the others in the room, "Also is the Robe even here? Why did he pick this little town to go find it? This place doesn't look like something that could end the world might be here." He laughed, "I'd expect more fire and darkness and whatnot."

I'm going to wake up Fungus, "Dew has agreed to come with me to find out what is happening to the man."
"I need you to try to find out what is making this man act like this, and I thought that you both could handle something like this."
Getting nearly lost in his doodles, he looks up to see the two missing. "Hey wait!" he shouts, scrambling to get his things before following the two outside. I look to Dew and Fungus, "I'll need you all to work together while I talk to him."
I looke to Balen, "Can you come to the barber side, I feel like talking near them will mess up whatever they need to do."
"Sure..." He says hesitantly, glancing at the 'situation' over there before looking back at Tildrash. He follows you over to the barber's side while keeping a close eye on the three in the other room as they move. "What's with the guy on the bed over there? Is he knocked out or something?"

I turn to Fungus, "I'll explain later, right now all you need to do is help Dew find out what's going on with the man."
“ah yes I can do that” he says with a smile
You both—Tildrash and Balen—walk into the Barbershop part to speak privately
"Anyways, apologies for all these sudden bombardments of questions, people are confused right now."
"That man attacked us quite recently, we're trying to find out why, but all we know is he wants something called 'The Robe Of Dusk Dawn'."

“Maybe, but for now all I want to know is what’s going on with him and if it’s some magic.”
I’m going to begin to walk into the hospital side, “If you want to come with you can. I can understand if you don’t want to be a part of this.”
"Yeah... fair enough," He felt a bit deflated at non-scaring idea, but it was okay it didn't really matter. “I don’t know, he just ran in this morning and all of a sudden Fungus was talking about a prophecy and now we’re here.”
”I’m gonna check on Fungus and Dews’s progress see what they’ve got.”
I walk into the hospital side and come up to Fungus
”Have you all found anything yet?”
“Well I have been explaining the prophecy and the story behind it to Dew would you like to hear it”
I shrug my shoulders a little, “Sure why not, it might be helpful.”
